Excellent location. You can walk to and from both the airport terminal and the rental car depot. I was able to check in an hour early so I could drop my bags first and then return my rental car. As a solo traveller, that made a huge difference. Very friendly helpful staff. The room was comfortable, very clean, and totally soundproofed from air traffic. I'd recommend the Hampton by Hilton as the best choice for an Edinburgh airport stay.

I have stayed in Marriott properties in many countries since the early 1980s. This was my first stay at the Moxy brand of Marriott properties. When we arrived, the driveway was completely roped off and blocked by two huge construction vehicles and the door into the lobby was also roped off. No alternative was provided to allow us to drop off our heavy bags or even to enter the hotel from the car park. Having to register my car or risk a £100 fine just to drop off the luggage was not a customer-friendly message. I am aware this applies to other Marriott airport properties in Scotland to deter non-guests from parking. But I am sure with all the brainpower in the Marriott group, a customer-friendly solution can be found. The towel in my room had holes. Housekeeping staff opened my room door twice. Luckily I was only half naked. Really lousy breakfast. Dried scrambled eggs. No other egg type offered. Dried bacon. Orange juice tasted quite bad. The lobby doubled up as the place for breakfast. As a result, food droppings on the floor were quite unsightly. But I must say the staff were all wonderfully nice, polite and helpful

the hotel was so clean and modern, with a really big room -- more than enough for 2 people. the location was so great because it was right beside a theatre and we cld even catch a last minute show there! the hotel was close to our needs ie shopping, sightseeing at the royal mile and city centre.

Al kartan tyyli, ei helppo ylittyä eat.walking etäisyys monia nähtävyyksiä ja lähtökohtia paikallisten retkien. Receptionissa oli apua ja ystävällistä. Tarkista sisään ja ulos. Vaikka perheeni 4 aikana Yhdistyneessä kuningaskunnassa, varaisi 2 huonetta, hiljattain, luultavasti hauskaa varaushenkilökunnan (päättäväisesti tuntui tahallinen) tai riittämättömyys tietokoneiden, perheemme olisi sijoitettu 2 huonetta eri kerroksissa, tällä kertaa se ei ollut Kiitos W hotellille, että tämä normaali pyyntö on totta. Ei hyvät kohdat: vaikka mikään ei ole vialla keinotekoisen ystävällisyyden kanssa, kun kaikki matkatavarat viivästyi British Airway, ja siellä oli kohtuullinen linja tarkastuksen. Vastaanottohenkilökunta voisi ehkä vähentää keskustelua vieraiden kanssa ja keskittyä tekemään työtä ja tarkistaa meidät nopeammin. Talon säilyttäminen oli alle keskiarvon, likaisia lasit ei puhdistettu tai korvattu kaksi päivää. Tämä ei kuitenkaan ollut harvinaista Yhdistyneessä kuningaskunnassa yleensä. Aamiainen tilaukset ravintolassa, tilaukset olivat kadonneet kaksi kertaa mutta itse asiassa yli keskiarvon Yhdistyneessä kuningaskunnassa. Muistuta: Hotelli sukkahousut olivat mukavia. Saatavilla pyynnöstä, he teeskentelevät sukkahousut olivat huoneissa, ne olisivat saatavilla, kun pyydetty Vapaa. - Kiitos.

Location: Very conveniently located right across a couple of bus stops and also a few steps away from Ocean Terminal tram stop. The Oean Terminal has a few well known brand outlets which we did not visit but if you have nothing else to do, it could be a nice way to spend your time. Also the Royal Britannia Yacht is right there. Cleanliness and facilities: just as expected from IHG, very clean and also the facilities that we wanted: luggage storage, a simple bar/ restaurant and hot breakfast. Nothing extraordinary but absolutely essential. Note: scrambled eggs could be better. Service: OK, as expected. We had already sent a note saying we were going to arrive between 1 AM and 1:30 AM, and when we came to the reception around 1:15 AM, they promptly delivered the keys and on the inside of the card was written ”no show”. Which means the reception doing the night shift never saw our note and had already marked us as possible ”no show”. It did not hurt us, but I did not like the fact they never read our note, it shows the impersonal nature of their service. Therefore I deducted one star. Note: The cranberry tea is a nice selection. It helped my headache. Thanks.

Since we booked the room very early, I'm not sure if it was a mistake on my part or the hotel's part. My friend and I had booked a room with two beds, but the rooms in the pictures all had two beds for one person! When we checked in and went to the room, we saw that it was just a big bed, so we immediately went to the front desk to express this situation. After just ten minutes, they changed the room for us to a room with two beds! Thank you for your active assistance! gratitude!

Absolutely amazing. We arrived very late due to heavy snow- they checked us in and organised an extra bed literally within 2 minutes of arriving. The service is efficient and rapid. The gentleman who looked after our room in house keeping was awesome, he helped us settle in and the little touches to make the kids feel special was duly noted. The manager down on the reception desk was excellent. Everything is managed very well, there is no waiting and the service is outstanding. The view at breakfast is amazing! Mountains in the distance covered in snow. Our stay was better than expected. Parking ✅ Swimming pool and sauna ✅ Food ✅ Service ✅ The hotel location is convenient and the restaurant space is open plan and cosy yet very busy. The hotel does need some updated but everything works well. The location is literally next to the zoo and the overflow car park 🅿️ is next to the hotel. The staff here are outstanding. High praise.
