"We had a really great stay here! The room was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kitchen utensils, which were super convenient for heating food during our stay. We were actually travelling to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly helped decorate the room and prepared some chocolates for us. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the trip feel even more special. We really appreciated the effort! The whole experience was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the hotel felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back and stay here again❤️ （The only small downside was a slight smell from the drain in the bathroom, but it was still tolerable and didn’t affect our stay too much."

"Stayed at St Christopher’s Hostel, Edinburgh for a night and it was a good budget choice. The location is excellent, right in the city centre and close to the Old Town and main attractions. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dorm was basic but comfortable enough for a short stay. It can get a bit noisy, so earplugs help. Bathrooms and common areas were generally clean considering how busy it is. Overall, it’s a social, well-located hostel—great for meeting people and exploring the city, but not ideal if you want total quiet. Perfect for a short stay in Edinburgh."

"Very nice place, clean and well presented, lovely breakfast included with a nice price which doesn't break your bank. Lovely host. Lots restaurant, bars and shops around, but no far at all from Princess Street Town Centre if you want discover the Old Edinburgh. Just a good all around Guest House with Breakfast in a fantastic location. Will be back for sure."

"Amazing stay experience at the Ten Hill Place Hotel. I was on a trip with my mother. The staff here made our stay, checking in & out and the whole experience very easy and smooth. We did have some issues in our bathroom which was dealt with promptly by their staff. The place is very conveniently located near the center with major attractions just walks away like the royal mile, victoria street, princes street, castle and the scott monument. If you wish to travel by bus there is a bus stop just 2 mins away as well. We found lidl, sainsbury and some affordable food options just near the hotel. Although the hotel also offers their restaurant with amazing food. Our room had scenic mountain & city landscape views. Overall a very beautiful and convenient stay for people travelling or looking to explore Edinburgh. Highly recommend!!"

"The hotel was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the reception staff was welcoming and amazing! I was thoroughly disappointed at the breakfast selection - the eggs were overcooked and floating in water, it was quite gross. The gentleman taking care of the tables was quite rude. We asked the reception whether we can look at the breakfast before we make a decision to add on, she said sure, we went there and this gentleman working the floor was quite rude saying for how many? I told him I am still deciding as my partner wanted to come in and have breakfast too. It was me and my mom staying in the room, but he was so pushy and rude, he asked for my room number, I gave it to him, he came back saying it's not paid and I said to him I know I am just deciding if I want to add it on -- we were standing away from the food and didn't have plates or anything, we were just texting my partner to get a decision from him. He was so rude and said ”see I told you, this is why I asked, come with me” and he had a very rude attitude. We paid for it at the bar and then went to sit down, but this gentleman was the only rude man in the hotel - quite frankly would not eat at that place again!  He messed the whole experience for us. "

"Location is fair, close to airport and not too far from city. Easy access to tram across the road. Approx 5min walk. Staff are friendly. First room of check in there was bloodstains on the double bed and second room had stains on the top bunk bed. Not a great start after a long night of travelling and just wanting to rest. Abrupt awakening about 12ish due to a fire alarm and panick just to find out after it was a drill. (There was a sign at the reception desk but at 7am after long night of travel your not going to look below the desk to read). Top bunk isn't comfortable. Be mindful what you leave out in the room before cleaners come in. Our photo we got taken in edinburgh old style photo was thrown away and some medication I had wrapped up was thrown out. Hotel is okay for a short stay."

"From airport, take airlink100 and alight at haymaker. Cross the road and walk back and look for street sign COATES GARDENS . Walk up the slope till you reach the end, there you will see travel lodge right in front of you. Most attractions are walkable and you do not require to buy any bus tickets. Hotel main door facing south east, if you book rooms above main hotel door direction, you will catch morning sun and take beautiful pictures."

"Amazing price for a central hostel. Easy friendly check in. Staying in girls dorm bunks which had curtains. Unfortunately they didn't reach to the end so not as private as expected. No lockers in our room only cages under the bed and you had to pay for a padlock so didn't bother. Nothing got stolen. Everyone very friendly. Rooms basic but comfy and roomy. Showers and loos like indoor portaloos. Breakfast nextdoor was ok. Tasty and just enough. Thank you for a great stay."

"Great hotel. Very comfy beds. Powerful shower with lovely 'Arran' toiletries. New aircon so wont be great in summer but was fine in November. Staff very friendly and restaurant meals were delicious. Very good selection at breakfast."
