A great hotel in a great location and service. The one thing that kind of annoyed us, was the size of the room and the bathroom. Although we booked the bigger room but it was so mini. I can't imagine how the real mini room looks like. Also the cups for coffee were too big and didn't even fit in the machine. Everything else was perfect.

Accessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages. It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte. About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge. Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue. Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable. Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.

I stayed here recently and was disappointed with the value for money based on the price paid. The facilities felt dated, especially the hair dryer which barely worked. I also requested a dental kit from reception and was told to purchase one from the vending machine, which felt surprising for a hotel of this level. I eventually received one the next morning after speaking to housekeeping directly. For the price I paid, I don’t feel that the experience met basic accommodation expectations. While the location is convenient and close to the Eiffel Tower, the overall service and quality didn’t justify the cost. I expected more comfort and better guest support given the hotel’s star rating and price point.

Lovely stay at The Best Western Empire Elysees. Only stayed one night and was the perfect location with two metro stations nearby, Ternes and Charles de Gaulle - Etoile. But also about 15-18 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe and to the bustling streets of Champs-Elysees. We were 3 adults in one room and unlike some other hotels we have stayed in, this room felt larger as well as the bathroom with a double sink.  We had breakfast at the hotel, which felt a little cramped and there was no one to tell us where to sit when we got to breakfast. There were hot breakfast choices as well as cheeses, pastries and cereals. Was enough.  Hotel reception staff were friendly and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check out as we had an evening flight. All in all, a very good stay.

The hotel is quite good, have water machine outside the room, complimentary sparkling water, and offers a stunning view of Eiffel Tower from the rooftop.

I came to Paris for my birthday trip. The room I booked gave me a superb view of the Eiffel Tower, especially every night. I would say this apartment is value for money, given the price paid for the view. However, 3 large items have disappointed me badly. 1) I was overcharged for the tourist tax. I only found out on the last day during check out that the tourist tax was counted via number of pax, instead of per room. I only had 3 pax staying in the room but was charged the tourism tax for 4 pax, which is the maximum capacity of the room I booked. I did not have the time to pick this up on my last day as my driver was already here and I was rushing to my flight. I am very disappointed with the dishonesty I have faced here. 2) Security is a big issue. I have placed “Do Not Disturb” tag outside my room, but someone still entered my room to pick up the portable heater which one of your staff delivered on the first night. I had many valuables in the room and hence I indicated “Do Not Disturb” as I don’t wish for anyone to enter. This is a big security breach and it happened on my second day of stay. I went down to the reception in the evening instantly when I realised someone has entered. The reception just told me that they are deeply sorry and they can’t do anything, and asked me to see the manager the next day instead. The next day, in the morning at 10:00am 31 Oct 2025, when I asked to see the manager, the reception kept telling me the manager wasn’t available. Even when I came back at 6:00pm the same day, the reception still told me the same thing - manager wasn’t available. It seems like the reception is just hiding and preventing me from talking to the manager. This is utter rubbish. 3) Facilities in my room were not working - the heating rack in the toilet was not working, the lamps in the living room were not working. My entire room was so poorly lit. For a hotel chain under the Accor group, I expect something better.

Perfect Location, Pristine, and Welcoming! My recent stay at Hotel Richmond near Gare du Nord was a truly positive experience, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. Location: ★★★★★ (5/5) The location is absolutely fantastic. Being just a stone's throw from Gare du Nord makes arrivals and departures incredibly convenient, especially for those utilizing Eurostar or other train services. Despite the bustling area, the hotel itself felt like a quiet haven. It's also very well-connected to public transport, making it easy to explore all of Paris's attractions. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes right on the doorstep. Cleanliness: ★★★★★ (5/5) I was genuinely impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. From the lobby to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The room felt fresh and inviting, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests. Friendly Service: ★★★★★ (5/5) The staff at Hotel Richmond truly elevated my stay. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine helpfulness. The reception staff were particularly friendly. Overall, Hotel Richmond offers a wonderful balance of convenience, comfort, and excellent service. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Paris!

Good location, very close to Metro stations and a quick ride away from most attractions and plenty of places to eat , Boulangeries and local shops very close by. The hotel itself is very simple and I believe they serve breakfast etc.. too and there is a fully stacked vending machine (although pricey) for anything you may need. Rooms was cleaned daily by lovely lady but shower was a bit dodgy as it struggled to stay in place but there was plenty of hot water and Air Conditioning too. Worth the price good value stay!

В целом все было хорошо: локация, рядом много заведений где можно перекусить от старбакса до очень вкусного японского реста на углу, несколько супермаркетов, до оперы 10 минут пешком, три станции метро в шаговой доступности Номер: комната не большая, все необходимое есть, фен очень устаревший морально 🤣 вид из номера был на соседний отель в целом приятный. Вечером бывало немного шумно, тк под окнами были барчики. мне бесплатно апгрейднули номер, после того, как я решила остаться еще на несколько дней, уборка была каждый день, полотенца всегда меняли, а вот постельное белье ни разу за неделю не поменяли, хотя я просила. В целом, если ехать без каких-то аховых ожиданий, то нормально, все просто, достаточно чисто, при учете хорошей локации за свою цену вполне нормально.

Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
