A great hotel in a great location and service. The one thing that kind of annoyed us, was the size of the room and the bathroom. Although we booked the bigger room but it was so mini. I can't imagine how the real mini room looks like. Also the cups for coffee were too big and didn't even fit in the machine. Everything else was perfect.

Accessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages. It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte. About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge. Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue. Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable. Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.

Lovely stay at The Best Western Empire Elysees. Only stayed one night and was the perfect location with two metro stations nearby, Ternes and Charles de Gaulle - Etoile. But also about 15-18 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe and to the bustling streets of Champs-Elysees. We were 3 adults in one room and unlike some other hotels we have stayed in, this room felt larger as well as the bathroom with a double sink.  We had breakfast at the hotel, which felt a little cramped and there was no one to tell us where to sit when we got to breakfast. There were hot breakfast choices as well as cheeses, pastries and cereals. Was enough.  Hotel reception staff were friendly and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check out as we had an evening flight. All in all, a very good stay.

The hotel is quite good, have water machine outside the room, complimentary sparkling water, and offers a stunning view of Eiffel Tower from the rooftop.

Pros 1. Excellent location just across 3 major metro lines (and a bus line). Made it super convenient to commute around the city. It’s also Around 15 min walking distance to Tour Eiffel 2. Rooms are comfortable size for Paris standards. Beds were comfy! 3. Studio room comes with a kitchenette, microwave, dish washer, toaster and cutleries making it easy for us to whip up a simple meal for breakfast. 4. Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate and water dispenser at the lobby. Just bring your cup from the room or reusable water bottle to fill up. 5.We were greeted warmly by Ndeye who helped us get settled in for our stay. 6. There was a local market on Sundays and Wednesdays right under the train track. Cons 1. The lifts are small and only one was functioning during our stay so be prepared to wait or walk down the stairs. 2. There is no daily housekeeping but there is a comfort room where we could replace supplies e.g towels, toilet paper etc. Since we stayed 6 nights, we were given 1 free housekeeping. Overall wasn’t an issue for us, but may be an expectation for some. 3. You can hear the trains zoom by, but the disruption was minimal as the windows came with decent sound proofing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Citadines!

On quiet street so taxi pickup and drop off easy and near to small supermarket, bank and restaurants of various types. It is half an hour from central paris but i chose to stay here because I was near to who I was visiting. My main bug bare is that the lift is painfully slow to come, to close doors, to go down. I am patient but this tested it. First time taxi drivers arrived before I could get downstairs! Breakfast for an extra €12 is continental. My room, the sink was a bit blocked so water took ages to drain. You would have to leave it and go but that is what I was usually doing so I didnt complain. Only one door on the shower so first day floor completely flooded until I asked for more towel mats. Its like a small local very old Travelodge but OK. Dingey and dark but if you are out most of the time then it doesnt matter. I would stay here again at a push. The lift just really got on my last nerve.

Perfect Location, Pristine, and Welcoming! My recent stay at Hotel Richmond near Gare du Nord was a truly positive experience, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes right on the doorstep. Cleanliness: ★★★★★ (5/5) I was genuinely impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. From the lobby to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The room felt fresh and inviting, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests. Friendly Service: ★★★★★ (5/5) The staff at Hotel Richmond truly elevated my stay. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine helpfulness. The reception staff were particularly friendly. Overall, Hotel Richmond offers a wonderful balance of convenience, comfort, and excellent service. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Paris!

Good location, very close to Metro stations and a quick ride away from most attractions and plenty of places to eat , Boulangeries and local shops very close by. The hotel itself is very simple and I believe they serve breakfast etc.. too and there is a fully stacked vending machine (although pricey) for anything you may need. Rooms was cleaned daily by lovely lady but shower was a bit dodgy as it struggled to stay in place but there was plenty of hot water and Air Conditioning too. Worth the price good value stay!

Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
