"Tämä on ensimmäinen kerta, kun käymme Wutaishan ja jäimme tänne 5 yöksi. Olemme tulleet suoraan bussilla Pekingistä ja hotelli otti meidät bussireittistä Wutaishan. Hotellikuljettaja oli apukas ja ystävällinen. Meitä tervehtivät 2 miellyttävää etuosasto naiset sisäänkäynnissä. Meille annettiin helmiä rannekkeen lahja ja tervetuloa hedelmälevy .
Ensimmäisenä päivänä meillä oli ongelma ilmastointiyksikön kanssa huoneessamme ja he muuttivat huoneemme seuraavana päivänä.
Hotelli sijaitsee aivan liikekuulun kadulla, jossa on paljon ravintoloita ja kauppoja. On myös kuljetus bussipistooli vain nurkan ympärillä. On monia kuuluisia temppeleitä täällä kaikki kävelymatkan päässä hotellista. Hotellissa on ravintola ja ruoka on herkullista ja meillä oli ruokaa tarjoiltu huoneessamme.
Naisen pomo (jota emme tavanneet) antoi meille tietoa matkasuunnittelusta ja auttoi meitä varaamaan maamatkan viidestä vuoresta.

"My room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!"

"景區裏打車非常難打，試着給酒店打電話問能不能接，很快就來接啦，
辦理入住時，送了兩個孩子每人一個好看的冰箱貼和還有當地的特產沙棘汁
遊玩完又坐了公交車回去取放在酒店前台的行李，公交站離酒店步行有一段距離，同樣半天沒有打到車，又很累實在不想再走路，聯繫了酒店前台，很快就把行李給我送到了公交站
整個過程體驗都超預期的好，酒店碰到的所有工作人員都很熱情友善
酒店位置離五爺廟，殊相寺也比較近，房間乾淨衞生，特別值得推薦"

"We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The room itself is amazing. Clean, neat and they provides so many amenities. The location is great, just next to bus station. The market is just 10 minutes away by foot.
The only thing that dissapoint me is the breakfast. The menu is quite boring and no western option like bread, white coffee (latte, capuccino) and pastries.
Other than that was good."

"第三次入住棲賢閣酒店了，第一次住就被酒店房間極高的挑高驚呆了，真是非常氣派。但這次入住，感覺卻比較失望。我住的房間，左右房間都有對應房號的WiFi，我這屋卻沒有，衹能“偷用”隔壁的WiFi信號，叫了服務員也沒用。浴缸裏放熱水，把水龍頭擰到熱水端，水流極小極小，用了半個小時才放滿（關鍵是還不是很熱）。到酒店一樓的餐廳吃飯，一小碗米飯居然10塊錢，多要了還不給退…感覺硬件和服務對不起國慶旺季1680元的房價了。這都是細節，但客人遠道而來，酒店運營和服務不就是靠細節吸引客人嗎？"

The single courtyard room on the third floor enjoys private space. The internet-famous homestay is located in Caosijie Resort in Wutai Mountain Scenic Area. It takes about 10 minutes to drive from the south entrance to the homestay. It is about 10 minutes' drive from the core area of Wutai Mountain. There are buses (from Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Beijing, airports, etc.) at the door. It is a must-pass place for going to and from Wutai Mountain on the expressway. The transportation is convenient. Surrounded by mountains and forests, with the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers, it is comfortable and warm. It is a place for you to travel, vacation, keep in good health and calm your mind. The bedspreads, quilt covers and linens of the homestay are all of the same hotel standard as Marriott. The Marriott's same Simmons mattress with latex makes you feel as comfortable as being at home. Come as you wish and I am happy to receive you.

My wife and me stayed there for 5 nights in Oct/Nov 2025. The location is good and away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activities. It’s in a quiet location and you can do your hikes up to 凤林禅寺, one of the rare few operating monastery with quietness and serenity in the area. The staff there are friendly, welcoming and professional. Room was cleaned thoroughly and the snacks in the room replenished daily. Their vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner is simply awesome. I look forward to it everyday. The chef 赵师傅 is a master in creating delicious vegetarian meals. The other staff worth mentioning are 茵茵,阿文,宝珠and小王. The only thing they can improve on is to consider installing a self-service laundry room with a dryer.
Will return if I’m visiting 五台山again.

A really beautiful place to stay in the quiet mountains of Wutaishan. The hotel was tastefully appointed and the room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a Marshall speaker which was a really nice touch. The services were super attentive and personal: Manager Chen and his team were very friendly and highly accommodating. They made sure that I had everything I needed for my daily expeditions, drove me to all the temples and monasteries (within reasonable distances of course) that I wanted to visit every morning and picked me up in the evening back to the hotel. My stay there was so lovely that I extended it for two more days, which was still far from enough!
The hotel restaurant was also very nice. Food was of superior quality and the ambience was lovely.

Located near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

Wholeheartedly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable, with really modern showers/barhrooms.
Additionally - the real highlight - Liu Kaidi couldn’t have been more helpful in helping to organize our trip with us. Amongst other things she: answered all of our questions we had about our hike around Mount Wutai, gave us a route and map, was extremely responsive on WeChat throughout our time in the area. She also allowed us to leave bags during our hike free of charge, helped us book and catch our bus to Taiyuan, arranged our bus to the East Terrace at 3.30am at the start of our hike (waking us up) and gave us a fantastic food recommendation for dinner (even walking us to the restaurant).
Our stay would not have even the same without her help and we are so grateful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I came to the area.

Ot's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel

Nice place I stayed for 4 nights to explore Wutaishan beginning of February. Location: 100m from Jinjie temple (have to walk uphill a bit, it is the same pathway that brings to Daluoding temple), 300m from Dailuoding bus station. No restaurant inside, the closest place to eat is Dico’s at 300m (I have never been there as I prefer a local food), restaurants for both breakfast, lunch and dinner are 1km away. The room is small but ok for one person. The window face an indoor place (the entrance of the hotel and the stairs). The girl at the reception is very friendly and helpful.
