"Great location, but significant comfort issues Positive aspects: Very satisfied with the general accommodation type. It’s an apartment-style hotel located in a prime area in the bustling city center. Having shopping malls nearby and being so close to the subway station made transportation extremely convenient. The unit was clean and tidy, and the facilities were comprehensive. Also, having 24/7 staff at the front desk is a plus. Areas for improvement (The reality of the stay): However, there were several issues that made our stay uncomfortable: • Room Layout & Comfort: The bathroom is located inside the shower area, which is quite unpleasant and impractical. The space around the beds is very tight, making it difficult to move around the room. • Noise & Insulation: I specifically requested a room far from the elevator, yet I was placed right next to it, making it impossible to sleep well. Furthermore, the kitchen window wouldn't close properly, and the windows in general have poor insulation; you can hear every bit of street noise. • Climate Control: The air conditioning was very difficult to regulate—it was either freezing or boiling hot, with no middle ground. • Hotel Style: Note that this is not a traditional hotel; the ”reception” is actually just a couple of rooms converted for that purpose. Conclusion: While the location is unbeatable, the lack of rest and the room's layout were deal-breakers for me. I would not book this place again and would look for a more comfortable alternative in the area next time."

"Read numerous positive reviews on this hotel and decided to book it for our vacation. The hotel is located just next to Huaqiang Electronic World. Directly outside the hotel is the entrance to Line 2 and 7. Line 1 from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport stops at Huaqiang Station approximately 5-10 minutes walk to the hotel. All the staffs are friendly and approachable. They are very helpful and efficient in assisting our concerns during our stay. Exceptionally thankful to Nick and Linda at the reception counter for addressing our needs effectively. Room was kept very clean and tidy by our housekeeper 小女儿 (staff id: 4308) who takes pride in her job, and went the extra mile to ensure comfort during our stay. Last but not least, Ms Merida Xiang at the breakfast restaurant for her thoughtfulness and dedication to meet customers’ expectations. Both my wife and I are extremely thankful and happy that we had chose Huaqiang Plaza Hotel as our preferred choice of stay in Shenzhen."

"Location was excellent, only a min walk to MTR train station.  Near by have fast food restaurant.  Hotel was a bit old fashion, but in Shenzhen Lu Wu , it’s acceptable.  It’s rare , I paid in full at trip. Com and hotel charge me again + guarantee CNY $500 .    While check out they didn’t pay back the cny$ 500  to me"

"Very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to rest after a long day. The location is very convenient, close to the LRT station, so it’s easy to get around. There are also many food options nearby, all within walking distance and very enjoyable. A nice bonus is the free flow coffee available at the lobby anytime. The coffee tastes really good, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."

"Our room is squicky clean and all around seems new. The food varieties are great, we get to have veggies for breakfast. The hotel is accessible to the Shenzhen airport, so its more convenient for those arriving and or departing guest. Definely recommend this hotel for those traveling to Shenzhen. We hope to stay more in this same hotel on our upcoming trips to Shenzhen and will also check some other Hyatt hotels in some other cities of China."
