This is one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed . The location is outstanding with the prime view of the Lugu Lake. The young enthusiastic staff will go out of their way to take care of your needs and wants . They even provide a sumptuous afternoon tea, mulled wine or hot milk at night with movie screening . The food at the restaurant is pretty good and healthy . They even have complimentary laundry service . It’s also pet friendly and There’s also a resident border collie to play with . We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly there . I totally recommend it for city dwellers who need to get away from it all.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this hotel in DaLuoShui Village, right by beautiful Lugu Lake! The location couldn’t be better - lake views everywhere and restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The staff were super friendly, especially the two lovely receptionists, A Zhi and Xiao Xiong, who always greeted us with big smiles. Our room was stylish, clean, and had everything we needed. Plus, the free breakfast, coffee, and afternoon desserts were a great bonus! Honestly, the whole experience exceeded our expectations, and I can’t wait to come back and stay even longer next time.

As part of our 9-day self-drive trip in Yunnan, me and my wife visited the Lake Lu Gu last week and stayed two nights at the Torre De Marfil Hotel. All hardwares and softwares of the hotel were up to our entire satisfaction. Every little detail of the hotel facilities, whether in the rooms or in the public areas, has been carefully designed and properly maintained. The full and unblocked lakeview, which can be seen directly through the hotel room window, was magnificent and unforgettable. As we were told, most of the hotel personnel are native Mosuo people. We were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm shown by all of them, especially Xiao Zhang at the Reception Desk, in their works. Without any exception, they responded proactively and efficiently to all our requests. They voluntarily helped us bring our heavy luggages to and from the carpark while explaining to us the unusual marriage traditions followed by the Mosuo Tribe. Breakfasts were provided in individual sets instead of buffets. We were particularly impressed by their presentations, tastes and varieties, which were so much better than what we had in those bigger hotels we had stayed in Dali and Lijiang. Free dessert soups were served and brought to the rooms every evening, which to us were a big surprise! We 100% enjoyed our stay in Torre De Marfil and would definitely recommend it to anyone who happens to be visiting Lu Gu.

This hotel left an extremely strong impression on my family! For the price point, the location and view from our room was amazing. The view is unblocked, and we had a nice walk by the lake. There is a cafe beside the hotel which served nice drinks and food. The view from the cafe was excellent, and we would highly recommend paying a visit there! The room had a nice, cozy feeling and a spacious balcony. There aren't many restaurants in this particular town, but the main town is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the hotel. However, the hotel is able to provide dinner! They have a several options to choose from like noodles and hotpot, and the prices are extremely affordable! The hotpot was really delicious as well, and the breakfast was scrumptious! In the morning, there will be dew above the waters of the lake, and the view is simply stunning. Overall, we had a really great experience here thanks to the helpful and friendly staff!

This was a truly quiet and serene stay at Lugu Lake. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the lake view felt like a perfectly framed photograph — calm, still, and right in front of you. It was lovely strolling down to the lake, and an easy 20–30 minute walk from the lake into Lugu town. E-scooters are available for rent, though walking was honestly just as enjoyable. The hotel facilities were excellent, with so much thought put into the little details — bath bombs, snacks, eye masks — all spotless and well-maintained. The staff were warm and lovely, and they also make a really good cup of coffee. Breakfast was a highlight: comforting mushroom soup noodles, healthy steamed buns, eggs, and other simple but delicious dishes. And to top it all off, there’s an adorable resident cat. A peaceful, well-considered stay that felt both cosy and memorable.

I had a wonderful stay at 慕鱼, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lugu Lake. The hotel is tastefully designed, with every corner beautifully decorated and thoughtfully curated. I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a lake-view room, and the room cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. The view is truly stunning — there is an unobstructed, direct view of Lugu Lake, and 蒗放码头 is located right in front of the hotel, making the location incredibly convenient. At night, I could see a sky full of stars directly from my room, which felt truly magical. Every detail in the room felt well considered and intentional. The room was also very comfortable in winter, with floor heating and a Dyson hair dryer, which made a huge difference during the colder days. During afternoon tea time, the hotel served a lovely afternoon tea set, and sitting in the backyard while enjoying the lake view became one of the most relaxing and memorable moments of my entire trip. Upon checkout, the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast to go and gifted me some souvenirs, which was a very warm and touching gesture. They also helped recommend a reliable driver who took me back to Dali in a comfortable 9-seater car, making the journey smooth and stress-free. The owner is a beautiful and kind lady, and her dog Lucky, an adorable corgi, is an absolute delight. The staff were all genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, 慕鱼 offers beautiful design, breathtaking views, thoughtful service, and a truly relaxing experience. I would absolutely love to return.

An Exceptional Stay at Pushu · All Lakeview Resort Villa (Lugu Lake Daluoishui Branch) My stay at Pushu · All Lakeview Resort Villa was nothing short of amazing. The service truly exceeded expectations — in fact, it was even better than some of the 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Although our room was originally meant for three people, the staff were incredibly accommodating and kindly allowed four of us to stay together. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, with the stunning Lugu Lake right outside our balcony. The resort also provides small complimentary meals such as high tea and supper for guests, which was a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delightful as well, featuring a variety of traditional Lijiang dishes. Special thanks to staff member 扎西, who warmly welcomed us upon arrival and made sure everything was well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, Pushu · All Lakeview Resort Villa offers exceptional hospitality, great food, and unbeatable views — a perfect choice for anyone visiting Lugu Lake.

One of the most satisfying homestay during our 14-day trip to Yunnan. Location outside homestay has excellent spots for very nice landscape photography. Host paid great attention to details. Love the sliding glass doors that open up to a panoramic view of the lake. Enjoyed the complimentary tea and desserts sitting on the balcony. Oh, the large projection TV in the room is great for enjoying a good movie.

After arriving at the property, I realised it was worth having a lake view room, so I upgraded to the Double Bed with Lake View and bathtub. The room is huge and the view of the lake from the windows is spectacular. It was amazing to just sit by the window and enjoy the view and the breeze. In the morning I watched the sunrise through the window. The hotel has excellent service. The two young men at reception were very kind, helpful and gentlemanly. They insisted on carrying my small bag up to the third floor and happily resolved all my queries. The cleanliness was not bad, but there were a few strands of hair around the room. Otherwise it was clean. There were lots of amenities, the bed was extremely comfortable and the rain shower was perfect. Downstairs, you could step directly onto the lake, and the property has two very cute cats. The Lake View Double Room came with an in room afterboon tea (very much needed after the long journey to reach Lugu Lake) and a healthy Chinese style breafast. All up, an extremely comfortable stay and one of the highlights of my trip to China.
