Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung was the perfect hotel for us in Kaohsiung. It's in a quiet location in the Asia New Bay Area, a few minutes' walk to 2 light rail stations (C7-Software Technology Park and C8-Kaohsiung Exhibition Center) and 1 Metro Red Line station (R8-Sanduo Shopping District). There's a 7-11 and Family Mart directly in front of it for any drink, snack, or toiletry needs. An MWD outlet is also close by for a good breakfast, if you don't want to spend on the breakfast buffet every morning. Room service dining is available and reasonably priced, though the options are limited. Both the check-in and check-out processes went very smoothly. We arrived a few hours before check-in, but the reception staff let us go through the check-in process and leave our bags. When we returned from exploring the neighborhood, we simply collected our keys from reception and found our bags waiting for us in our room. The lap pool area was quite relaxing to hang out at. The only thing missing is a milk tea shop around the corner.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Wonderful staff! Whether it's the concierge employees at level 1, or the check-in staff at level 20, or the breakfast staff, everyone is polite and helpful. Fantastic service and facilities. Breakfast is amazing. Everything is perfect, and I strongly encourage visitors to Kaohsiung to stay at H2O hotel!

Facilities of hotel near top niche conditions, probably due to recent renovation or opening. Room is spacious for two. Services of front desk are helpful. Even took time trying to help our cell phone connection issues. Breakfast, although vegetarian only, is tasty and offered a wide variety of choices. Disappointed is about the noises caused by unruly neigbouring guests late at night.

It is situated rather close to airport, hence a bit far from everything else, especially good food. However is of walking distance to some major Japanese department store. The main thing of note is the lobby is situated on the 25th floor. One take one lift up to lobby and then another lift to rooms every time. The rooms were spacious, but the bottom of beds were not vacuum for days. Amenities were minimal and do not reflect on price of room. Electrical sockets were limited and USB sockets don’t work. Many of the decorations in the hotel or the rooms are not suitable for kids. The building itself seems new as many shops at low levels are not open or only at certain times. Hotel staff didn’t mention or introduce the surroundings at all during check-in. House keeping staff were courteous and hard working. Lobby staff was not friendly. Reception was spent most of the time reminding rules, rather than welcoming. Their lobby bar is a cigar bar and the reminded me they only have expensive whiskey and no wine by the glass. The staff from tea place with the stunning view of the city reminded me they are closing soon. The ground concierge was not welcoming nor helpful except for one girl who nodded every time we enter the building. The pool staff and lobby staff corrected my mandarin a few times. Lastly, the was an incident at the pool, as I heard a boy stepped on a piece of glass. There was a lot of blood. I cannot comprehend why there was a piece of glass not cleaned by the pool. There are two restaurants by the pool and one of them was a bar. Overall, it is a nice hotel. But the software is far from up to par or this price.

We stayed at 2 bed room suite and really enjoyed the view from the big windows. My daughter loves exploring the rooms and looking out of the window. She still talks about going back to Kaohsiung Marriott as she loves the room. We also love how the hotel is connected to a shopping mall with good restaurants, an indoor children playground and a good book store. Breakfast was of good variety and we chose to have breakfast at the main restaurant everyday. Lounge is also nice, although the breakfast variety is less. My only disappointment would be the kids club as I don't think it is well equipped, in comparison to other 5 stars or 4 stars hotels. It is more like a room with some toys (building blocks and a broken kitchen) and the children fought over the toys. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and hope to return in the future.

Hotel Just Sleep Kaoshiung is conveniently located between Kaoshiung Main Station and Formosa Boulevard Station. It is also within walking distance to convenience stores and Liuhe Night Market. As for the hotel room, we booked a family room. The room is very spacious for a family of four and our 3 large luggage bags. Plenty of walking spaces too.👍👍 The service is awesome and the reception is warm. Although the aircon for our original room was not working despite the hotel’s attempt to fix it, the staff offered us another room and even allowed us to try out the air con before confirming the room. That really saved us else we would have to suffer due to poor ventilation for the 3 nights’ stays. 👍👍👏👏 As for the hotel wifi, it does not work well. Probably the hotel wants us to just sleep at night and not to surf the internet. Hahaha…. 😁😉 The hotel also offers free usage of the washing machines located at 3rd floor. However the heater is charged at NTD 10 per 10 minutes. Oh a thing to note is that the pillows are too soft to our liking. It is difficult to sleep with it although the mattresses are really firm. 😆😆 din sleep well though. And for our room that faced the main street, it could be noisy in the morning. We could hear the traffic. As for breakfast, the hotel serves it from 6.30am to 10.00am. We booked our room with breakfast, however, we didn’t really get to enjoy the breakfast as we woke up late. So it is really up to individual to decide if they would want to include breakfast in their hotel package. Overall, it is really a decent hotel with friendly staffs who are always ready to offer their service. 🎉🎉👍👍👌👌

Great Location, just 1 min walk from the metro station. Check in at 30F, Guest rooms are from 23th to 29th floors. Elevators are excruciating long, especially when one of them was under repair when I was there. I got a bigger room, without window. Breakfast was passable, there is a small lounge area at the restaurant area for all guests, offering small snacks and some beverages.

hotel exceeded expectations with its prime location near attractions and spotless, comfortable rooms featuring plush beds and modern amenities. Friendly staff provided exceptional service, from quick check-ins to helpful recommendations. Breakfast buffet was fresh and varied, while the pool area offered relaxation. Housekeeping kept everything pristine daily. Minor noise from nearby streets, but blackout curtains helped. Great value for families or couples—highly recommend for a hassle-free stay. We’ll return next trip!

overall good hotel choice for staying at kaohsiung! only bad thing that occurred to me is the floor has some sticky stuff on it (assuming theyre not mopped when cleaned before i check in) and sheets has slight stains. but the toilet and others are all clean, and no weird smell. location is not directly near bus stop, but is walkable. nearest mrt is yanchengpu. the surrounding town is quiet and chill, but restaurants and convenience store can be found around. but i booked this hotel at a very very fair price, so we are super satisfied with our stay here. not to mention, very good view of love river can be viewed from room!
