"Mountway Hotel Apartment: A Budget Gem for Asian Travelers in Perth I recently stayed at Mountway Hotel Apartment in Perth, and I must say it’s one of the best options in its price range, especially for Asian travelers looking for a long-term stay with self-catering facilities. Location: The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!"

Kirkkaampi valaistus tekisi suuren eron. Vedenpaine: Sekä kuuman että kylmän suihkun vedenpaine oli hyvin alhainen, mikä teki suihkussa käymisestä epämukavaa. Ilmastointi: Ilmastointi oli heikko. Yövyimme talvella, joten se ei ollut suuri ongelma, mutta kesällä se saattoi olla ongelmallista. Mattojen kunto: Huoneiden ja hissien matot voisivat kaivata vaihtoa. Aulan ulkonäkö: Vaikka se ei olekaan kriittinen asia, uudistettu aula ja hissiaula parantaisivat huomattavasti ensivaikutelmaa saapuville vieraille. "Very nice motel with great facilities. Kitchen well equipped. Free laundry and free parking. Room was clean, nice bed and pillow too. For the price, this motel is really a good deal"

"The room was wide and pretty, beds were comfortable as well. The place is close to supermarket and free transportation. However, there was a flooding issue in our bathroom (maybe due to the drainage pipe) and also the shower head had a dripping issue. Staff were helpful to help us fix the dripping, however it started to drip again at night. Other than the issue above, the stay was pleasant, and I would recommend staying here if the bathroom issue could be improved."

"Perfect location for a short stay. The hotel is central, there is a wonderful bar and restaurant if it gets late and you prefer to stay in. We had a drink at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. There’s a pool and gym which is great to have on hot days. It was close to many shops and restaurants which is ideal as you don’t have to travel far also to enjoy the pier and city views."

"In a great location near Elizabeth Quay, and Langley park for Australia day fireworks and other events. We stayed in a Premium room with river view. It was spacious, modern and with a great shower. The view was nice, but would be great if the windows weren't so narrow. The walls were way too thin for a luxury hotel though. We could hear the conversations of the guests in the room next to us, and they woke us up when they came back to the room at 1am. That's the only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"The family room were awesome.. got 3 bed 1 king and 2 single its very great for family likes me who has growing kids that dont want share bed with their sibling.the room is nice and clean, location very center and easy to catch the cat buses. Will come back again for sure"
