Awesome service, swimming pool.

房間非常乾淨， 這點在邦勞很難的，很多貴的酒店床毛巾都沒這裏乾淨. 可以放心的睡覺，對於乾淨有追求的人是個好地方. 花園也比較美麗，有各種小樹，花，可以欣賞. 這裏出門打車去阿羅娜 5 分鐘， 50 畢索就可以，去其他地方也很方便，比較推薦. 唯一不足地方是，泳池沒有循環水，不太敢游泳. 躺在泳池邊上，點一些飲料喝喝，很滋潤.

酒店環境舒適、安靜，離阿羅娜海灘近，車程幾分鐘，床鋪乾淨整潔。

Selectum Mangrove Resort is located in a scenic area with beautiful palm trees, and the daily bottled water provided is a small, thoughtful gesture. However, despite the natural beauty, our experience was overshadowed by several issues. While the Filipino staff were kind and did their best, the atmosphere was negatively affected by the behavior of the European owners. The female owner in particular came across as cold and controlling, rarely greeting guests and often staring instead. It created a sense of judgment rather than hospitality, and it often felt like we were being watched or even talked about when walking past. There was also a strong sense of tight supervision over the staff, making the work environment feel uncomfortable and restrictive. There was also a man—possibly a relative—who stayed at the reception area in the evenings. He didn’t acknowledge guests, not even with a simple greeting, and we often saw him relaxing by the pool during the day. This lack of basic courtesy felt very unprofessional, especially in a small resort where guest interaction should matter. We were also charged ₱1000 for a makeup stain on a towel, which felt excessive and not in line with how other resorts handle similar situations. Housekeeping times were only mentioned in a contract and never explained to us verbally when we arrived, which led to some confusion and miscommunication. During our stay we even noticed a live crab in the swimming pool, which raised concerns about general maintenance, even considering the natural surroundings. Not ideal for a four star resort.  We do want to thank the nighttime Filipino lifeguard, who was genuinely kind and helpful. The local staff clearly do their best, but they work under management that lacks warmth and professionalism. Unfortunately, we left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and wouldn’t recommend the resort unless there are significant changes in how it’s run.

Very nice Resort with swimming pool and Fitness facilities. Highly Professional and friendly staff and very responsible owners of the property. Highly recommended place for a relaxing holiday! Also Travel and Exkursions can be booked !

Relaxing and comfortable resort located just a short distance away from Alona beach. Room was clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals - breakfast and dinner were excellent! Special thanks to the kind couple who run the resort and their staff, who really went above and beyond to take care of us. I arrived at the resort with a bad stomach, and they provided me with medicine (from their own supply!) and even cooked special meals which were easier for me to digest. This helped me so much and really salvaged my stay in Bohol.

A great hotel, the best one we’ve had the pleasure of staying in in the Philippines so far. It’s exceptionally clean, professionally run, friendly, polite and helpful staff. The rooms are great, well laid out, comfortable bed, great, quiet air con and a nice bathroom. There’s a lovely pool area because this hotel is not near the beach (about a 30 min walk or a 10 min taxi away). There’s also an outside / covered dining and reception area plus a mini outside gym. I slept really well as it was nice and peaceful at night. Only 8-9 rooms so not heaving with lots of guests which is great for us. The breakfast was also really good (approx £4 per person depending on the set you choose). Sorena, husband and team run a great hotel, would highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay.

Excellent small midrange Resort. Great owners and staff. Everything works really well, internet, cable TV, hot water, Aircon. Rooms are spotless and modern, you feel as though you're the first person to have ever used them. Nice pool and only 10 mins from all the action in Alona beach. Also some great restaurants very close by. Well done guys, impressive.

Ideal zum Entspannen. Ruhige Lage in Panglao. Flughafen ganz in der Nähe. Alona Beach nur 15 Minuten entfernt. Sehr sauber, gut eingerichtete Zimmer. Schöner Swimmingpool und Gym. Das ganze zu Super günstigen Preisen. Frühstück, Lunch und Dinner zu fairen Preisen erhältlich. Alles wird frisch zubereitet.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner dans ce charmant petit resort avec mon ami, et l’expérience a été tellement extraordinaire que nous avons décidé de prolonger notre séjour. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme en famille. Le resort est un véritable havre de paix, avec des installations impeccables et une attention aux détails qui rend chaque moment spécial. Les chambres sont confortables et décorées avec goût, offrant tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour relaxant. Ce qui a vraiment marqué notre séjour, c’est le service exceptionnel fourni par le personnel, en particulier April et May. Leur gentillesse, leur sourire constant et leur volonté de toujours aider ont fait de notre séjour une expérience inoubliable. Elles ont vraiment fait tout leur possible pour que nous nous sentions chez nous, et leur dévouement est à souligner. Nous avons passé des moments inoubliables, entre les belles balades dans les environs, les moments de détente au bord de la piscine et les délicieux repas préparés avec soin. Chaque jour apportait son lot de découvertes et de plaisirs, et nous avons apprécié chaque instant passé dans ce cadre idyllique. Il n’y a rien de négatif à dire sur notre séjour, tout était absolument parfait. Nous comptons revenir très bientôt pour un séjour encore plus long, car cet endroit est devenu notre deuxième maison. Hotel de 9 habitaciones, todas con una terraza particular que da a la piscina y a un jardín de mangos, papayas y palmeras. Por la noche es posible observar luciérnagas en los árboles del fondo, junto al gimnasio al aire libre que el dueño (amante del fitness) tiene. Los propietarios son una pareja europea que durante la pandemia decidieron no construir más habitaciones y dejar el terreno restante como jardín. La ubicación es perfecta para acceder a las principales playas y salidas de excursiones. Imprescindible nadar con tortugas y entre bancos de sardinas. Ellos mismos te alquilan una moto para recorrer la isla. Las carreteras y caminos son seguros. Ella, es una mujer extraordinaria y muy profesional. Nos ayudó durante horas a conseguir el vuelo que necesitábamos y finalmente lo consiguió ¡Nunca olvidaremos ese esfuerzo y el pastel sorpresa con el que nos obsequió cuando se dió cuenta de que era el cumpleaños de mi marido! ¡Ademas es una excelente chef! ¡Gracias por ser nuestra familia en Panglao!
