"One of the best experiences in my life. The view from the windows is incredible. Kaiseki dinner was awesome (requires booking in advance, though). Modern yet real onsen. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The only problem: bad private bath condition. But nothing critical."

"First off, this location is a bit out of the way, if you intend to stay close to the downtown...you have to take the ”Portliner” a few stops. No issue for me, but did not realize this when I booked. I chose it because of the onsen / sauna, and I was very satisfied: this was the best sauna / cold tub I had in Japan (so far). Was hotter (and colder) than anything else. The actual hot-tub was good too, but I focus on sauna ＞ cold tub cycles more than anything. Rooms are new and look good, if not a bit small. As expected. Stay for a night if you are on the fence...use the onsen...have a coffee-milk afterwards. You'll feel great. Rooftoop bar / restaurant was nice as well and very friendly staff!"

"Arriving at night, you'll need to walk for around 10 minutes from the train station to reach the hotel. They offer a free ride to the station only after check-out, so if you want to explore the area before leaving, you'll need to store your luggage at the station. The hotel is overall very nice, comfortable, and offers a substantial breakfast."

"Our stay in this hotel was great! I wish we stayed here longer than one evening. Our traditional Japanese room was very spacious and had two separate toilet rooms attached as well as a bathroom. The view from our room was amazing! And sitting area before the huge windows even had a massage chair and a vanity. The shoji doors showed some signs of wear but everything were very clean. Our kaiseki dinner was spectacular and incredibly tasty. But I wish there were some instructions for foreigners how to enjoy it properly. Our server didn't speak English and we didn't speak Japanese so there was a minor misunderstanding but everything was resolved 😅 I'm definitely a fan of such kind of a meal now! We visited all the hot springs that are available in this hotel and it's sister hotel across the river. I liked the silver indoor spring in our hotel and gold outdoor spring in sister-hotel the most. Hot springs are closed after 24:00. And open from 6:00 to 9:00 nest morning. Unfortunately they are closed from 9:00 to 12:00(check out time) which make it impossible to enjoy them in the morning for those who prefer to sleep in(( Would definitely reccommend the stay for relaxing and luxurious experience."

"Good price with a nice view. View of the bridge during the day is breathtaking. The new wing’s rooms are a lot nicer. Not much service. No one helps you with luggage when you arrive. And staff don’t look too helpful or happy. The hotel is near outlet and easy drive to Kobe city centre. Breakfast is good with a lot of bread variety. You need to bring your room towel to public bath. For this price I wouldn’t mind staying there again."

"What an amazing stay! It exceeded all expectations. The place is super nice with design interior, rooms are warm, spacious and comfortable. The whole place is modern, yet has a very traditional authentic feel and feels serene. The staff is very attentive, caring and fulfills your every need - they make you feel welcome, and explain everything to you very well even if you are a foreigner, there was no problem communicating in english. You are guaranteed 2 private stays in the private onsen spa of your chice - one in the evening and one in the morning, the time slots are more than enough to cover guest capacity and you have choice. The public onsen is pretty awesome too, although i felt so relaxed after private onsen for so long i went there just because of curiosity lol. The dinner and breakfast are HUGE and are SUPER tasty. Excellent products and execution, it was my first time tasting a5 wagyu. I recommend you do not eat lunch before coming to the ryokan for dinner, maybe just breakfast or something small because you will want to eat everything in this amazing meal set. I still feel kind of full 1 day after checking out. The hotel has nice common areas with free beverages, board games, ping pong ans some slot machines for entertainment. You can reserve karaoke room or get massaged in the automatic massage chairs. After we chcecked in at 3pm we did not need to go anywhere away from the hotel and just enjoyed our time there. If you want to book very specific timeslots for the private spa come in at that 3pm, because people queue up 30 min before in the lobby. Although i felt this was not really necessarry because like i said, the capacity is calculated well and you are guaranteed 2 entramces with available time slots. The first time slot starts at 4pm and is in 1hr intervals - with 5 available onsens up until the night. Morning onsen had plenty of free slots. They also offer free shuttle bus and it was always quick, we even called from public telephone in Arima when before checkin and had no problems arranging pickup in english. What i wish is if they were a little bit more flexible with breakfast times, because you also reserve a time slot but it's not like it's a course meal but traditional breakfast + buffet and you have to decide at the check in, which is kind of soon to think about when you want to have morning meal, but it's not too big problem. I guess it is a way to prevent everyone rushing in 5 min before closing time like some people do. The breakfast has plenty of variety and you even get a preheated own grill! Overall, we couldn't pick a better place for our visit in Arima, we are so relaxed and it was oje of the best places we have ever been to!"

"The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are large and clean, we enjoyed the bar with a jazz singer, the food was delicious. I love the jacuzzi bubblebath and the amenities is awesome all rooms has verandas you can see the beautiful view of kobe tower & port .The only thing I didn't like was the receptionist at the front desk, not friendly, the treatment was not welcoming, you didn't see a smile when greeting."

"酒店挺大，從車站過去要上一個大坡，拉着行李太費勁。想打電話讓接，結果攜程提供的店換號碼少一位，打不通，正好有一個台灣家庭打了接站電話把我們一起接上了。 酒店不錯，服務人員很熱情，窗外山景很美，晚上温泉沒人，享受私湯待遇。 也可以免費開私湯。 因為攜程的電話號碼不對，聯繫不上酒店，沒有提前預訂晚餐，入住的時候晚餐預訂滿了，想在鎮上找吃的，結果好一點的飯館也都訂滿了。旅遊旺季一定要提前預訂晚餐。"
