"It was a wonderful experience. It was our first time, so I have lots of questions, the staff were very cooperative and attentive to our needs. The heater in the room was particularly good. I love the small details and gestures. They packed us snacks as we didn't eat breakfast to visit jade dragon snow mountain. It was close to baisha town and had lots of food options. I will highly recommend it."

"Hotel is perfectly located near train station( within walking distance). Car service to old town is only ~ 20rmb. Most important part is that this hotel is new and renovated with 5star hotel standard. Very modern. Service is superb (Mr Luo is super professional and courteous). The afternoon tea is exquisite and the night time noodles were delicious. Breakfast is also great."

"In 19 years of life, never have i been to such an AMAZING hotel with such amazing staff and location. I’ve travelled a lot and stayed at many luxury hotels, and this is my favorite one to date. Not only was the room perfect, but the staff were helpful with absolutely everything. They arrange cars for you from and to the airport or other touristic attractions in the city, , they help with your suitcases, and always have foo, snacks and drinks for you whenever you please. Apart from that, and this is the reason i think the staff is truly exceptional, they helped me retrieve my lost suitcase from the airport after i had already arrives at the hotel, and i didn’t have to worry about anything. They also helped me reserve tickets to the snow mountain and confirm DIDI locations. They also ordered me medicine from the pharmacy because i didn’t know how to do it myself. And to conclude, they are genuinely the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and so so so helpful. I recommend this hotel 1000000%."

"I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU."

"Tucked just a 5-minute walk behind the charming Baisha Ancient Town, Watch the Mountain With You was the perfect stay for our calm and relaxing getaway. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly, English-speaking landlady who went out of her way to accommodate our needs. As Muslim travelers, we truly appreciated her effort in preparing delicious vegetarian breakfasts and even offering us complimentary snacks (like Nabati and Snickers) for our trip to Yulong Snow Mountain — just a 30-minute Didi ride away. The room itself was stunning — thoughtfully designed, cozy, and filled with character. Whether you're heading to Lijiang (also about 30 minutes by Didi) or simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of Baisha, this homestay offers the perfect base. Highly recommended for those who appreciate slow, meaningful travel"

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The host very helpful — He collected our Taobao parcels in advance and placed them neatly in our room before our arrival, which was a nice touch. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Baisha Old Town. As soon as you step out of the hotel, you’re greeted with a stunning view of the snow mountain. The rooftop was another highlight — perfect for enjoying the sunrise and soaking in the mountain scenery. The hotel itself was spacious and comfortable. Both the living area and bathroom had plenty of room. Water pressure was decent, and the hot water supply was reliable throughout our stay. Overall, a peaceful and well-located stay with thoughtful service. Would definitely recommend!"

"This homestay was our best stay during our trip to Yunnan. First of all the staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful . They provided us with tips to book our visits to different attractions. Communication was easy even though we did not speak the same language via a Wechat group. It was very practical to ask anything we needed and the staff was very fast to answer. Second, our room was simply amazing. It was very spacious and clean, with an amazing view over Yulong Snow Mountain. It was decorated with taste and toiletries of very good quality were provided. The bed was big and comfortable. Third, we enjoy the location next to a farm, on Baisha's main street, but away from the noise and hussle because the hotel is further down the street. Breakfasts and night snacks provided were delicious! Thank you guys we really enjoyed our stay"
