My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

A Truly Unforgettable Experience Beyond Hospitality We had the most wonderful stay at Yunxi Yasu, Designer Cinema Homestay hotel, and it all started with the incredible guest service. When there was short delay with our rooms due to a technical issue, the owner herself personally took care of us. She welcomed us so warmly, brought us tea and snacks, and even lunch and made sure we were comfortable while we waited in her home office. Her kindness and attention made us feel right at home from the very Although we didn't speak a common language we used a translation app and she was kind and patient enough to explain things even when we asked the same thing many times. Throughout our stay, she continued to go above and beyondespecially when some members of our group fell ill. She not only checked in on them regularly but also sent over traditional Chinese medicine to help them recover. That kind of thoughtfulness truly touched us and is something we’ll never forget. She also helped us organize taxis and gave us genuine support and assistance without expecting anything in return. In today’s fast-paced world, it's incredibly rare to find someone so selfless and sincere. We are deeply grateful to her and the entire staff. The rooms themselves were spotless, fresh, and spacious and aesthetically pleasing with traditional Chinese decorations and fun calligraphy tools for us to write on. Housekeeping was done daily, with clean towels and toiletries replaced every day. The hotel had all the amenities we needed, and everything was well-maintained. The view from the hotel was lovely, adding to the overall peaceful atmosphere. Everyone we met at the hotel was friendly and helpful. By the time we were leaving, we had already made the decision to return in the future. We had such a positive experience, and we highly recommend this hotel to any foreigners or travelers visiting the area.

This hotel is idyllic and you will definitely relax. Whoever designed these rooms should win an award. It's one of the most stunning interiors that I've ever seen for a room. It's absolutely gorgeous. The service is pretty good. There were minor issues with communication at the front desk as I had paid a deposit on the app and they had me pay another deposit there. And then when I booked out, there was a bill again. But we eventually cleared it out. It was just a little bit unclear from the app side. The view, I asked for a nice view. This was something that I asked for but I don't know if they were fully booked. The view that I got wasn't great. I just watched cars coming and going the whole time. So I would have wished for a different view if it was possible. The food was very lackluster. I did not go out. I ordered two rooms and it was very expensive. I paid 68 Chinese Yuan or RMB for oats and 68 for a cup of tea. The oats were very, very watery. I couldn't eat it because that much dairy wouldn't be great. The tea was basic. I ordered a salad the previous night. It was around 38 RMB. Not too expensive but it had no dressing. So the food, I would just go out to eat. Don't bother to order into the room. All that saying, the room was beautiful. It was clean and definitely relaxing. Some lady, I asked for a HDMI cable and she brought it for me. So the service isn't bad either. So the only thing that I can really say is don't get room delivery. Other than that, really great.

This hotel is in good location, 3 minutes walk to mingxiaoling(明孝陵). I got free upgrade to Zhongshan building. Room is very clean. all the staff are very helpful, especially 张会珍 in dinner hall provided excellent service, very attentive. Dinning hall manager 许燕燕 also provided a lot of information to us about the area around. Front desk 小朱also give us a lot of tips about the area. Food is good. We enjoyed our stay. I will come back to this hotel again.

I booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

Everything about the resort is super amazing. The food was amazing, very wide variety. They had both Chinese and Western dishes. Even the chef specially made us some chicken when I asked for why no chicken among the foods. We ate to full. The room we got was simple and clean though not part of the main building so we needed to use the resort shuttle every time we needed to go out or return to our room. It was a fun ride every time. The staffs were friendly, hospitable and well mannered. We watched the circus show & the sea lion show, they were both interesting, and then we took the little train which took us round the wildlife park and we fed animals while on the train. It was an awesome experience. We also had a very good walk round the park with many animals roaming freely within their space. There are great spots for picnic and relaxation. The kids loved the amusement park and play area. We also experienced the hot springs which was a beautiful experience. The environment was beautiful, clean and natural. Our kids loved every bit of it. I highly recommend this for a family staycation.

I was surprised at how big, spacious, and well-designed our room was. I love that the bath and toilets were separate and the toilet has a smart function. Furthermore, they were also arranged separately from the hot springs tub in the room. The pool itself was big enough for the two of us, which wasn't evident in the hotel photos when I booked. The buttons for the hot and cold water were timed, which means that I can leave them running while I prepare to soak. There's a huge waterproof sofa next to the tub, which makes for a convenient place for putting things like food, towels, bath robes or phones. The only thing they missed was offering free tea to guests. I forgot to pack one so we went out to buy some. Outside, though, was empty and quiet, but the hotel was just 500 m away from the metro, so we went. The Chinese breakfast was abundant and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly we hardly we hardly can speak good Chinese. We want to come back here again.

The room had a nice lake view and amenities were great. There is a gym and heated swimming pool in the hotel, and a lobby lounge to relax in too. Luggage storage and delivery to room (if early check in) was possible. Late check out (2pm) was possible, which allowed me to enjoy my stay before my flight at 5pm. Location was convenient as it is connected to a shopping mall and metro station directly. Xuanwu lake was a 5 min walk which offers a good restful place for a stroll. Breakfast spread was decent and offer a variety, with scenic views.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at this hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, such as the front of house Mr. 劳时 and the onsite manager who looked after us from the moment we stepped through the door as weary travellers. The sixth floor 服务员 was also friendly and lovely. A special thank you to Mr. 栗山, who’s great client service really helped us out and showed much professionalism and poise. On the hotel itself, the rooms were clean, air conditioning effective and beds comfortable. The location was the perfect mid-point for touring the city and river to the west, the 紫金山 area to the east. Thank you to all the staff for helping make my non-Chinese speaking husband’s first trip to Nanjing (and also China) pleasantly memorable and seamless! 劳时，服务好。 卫生和房间干净。 为置好， 设施齐全。 很感谢！
