"Absolutely amazing experience!!! Excellence and convenient just 12 mins walk from the train station. The rooms is spacious and well designed. And the staff is very thoughtful and caring. "Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation."

"Very nice room! Stylish decoration! Too bad I forgot to take the picture so I can only share with you the picture of the area outside the hotel. The two staff are very friendly!! Service was very good!! My friend and I enjoyed the stay and we will surely stay here again if we are back in Leshan. Highly recommended!!"

"Super friendly staff and wonderful location! Minutes walk from the food street and the view from my room was stunning! Though the space inside room for dining is very limited, they have a nice common dining area with view to the river. The welcome fruit platter was lovely and the breakfast was hearty. Also enjoyed the free laundry room! Had my clothes washed and dried within hours (the washing machine has built-in in detergent dispenser). Would definitely stay again if I visit Leshan in the future:)"

"The hotel is in the scenic area so it is a little tricky to get to, otherwise it's in a nice quite ancient street which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan china. Vehicles aren't allowed in the area and the street is lined with historic style buildings and large trees. Making it a great place to walk, relax and people watch. The hotel will contact you prior to arrival and arrange for a free electric shuttle pick you up. There are very few food options at and near the hotel. The hotel has a vegetarian set meal that's on the pricey side as is everything in the immediate area. However its a short 10 - 20 minute walk across the bridge where there are several options as well as shops. And if you go in the evening you can see the people dancing in along the boardwalk,.karaoke, or playing cards well as get your ears cleaned, a pedicure, or a haircut. The breakfast was a buffet on one day featuring chinese dishes as fried eggs and toast. On the 2nd day it was a set very traditional chinese breakfast. The room was nice with its own heating/ cooling system. Overall the cleaning could have been better, especially for the price point. The staff was fine. Better attention then you would get in any north american hotel, but in other hotels we recieved over the top service so even through the service was great there is room for improvement. Even though everyone comes to this area for the buddha, i would reccomend coming here to get away from the hustle and bustle of china. You can walk to the buddha statue or boat tour from the hotel or there is a cheap electric shuttle 15y that you can ride all day of you are walked out."

"Brilliant hotel. We had our own onsen in the room, they provide jasmine tea to add to the water which is great for your skin. Close to the station and there’s a massive mall within walking distance. We needed help tracking down some lost luggage at the train station. The manager went out of his way to help contact the station and follow up with them later in the day. His English was superb. Fantastic service! Highly recommend staying here."

"The hotel is really well located. right by the river and within walking distance of the entrance to The Giant Buddha. The room is ok, quite large with a view of the river, but everything is a bit worn. The staff is not very welcoming and it is a shame because it would have made the experience much better."

"- Mikä kaunis hotelli. Se sijaitsee erittäin strategisessa paikassa keskellä tapahtuma, jossa Giant Buddha on (noin 800m sisäänkäynnin portille. Jalankulkijoiden kadulla, jossa hotelli sijaitsee, on upeasti värikäs valaistu iltaisin noin 23:00 asti Xiaoyan, hotellin henkilöstö on erittäin hyödyllinen ja saattoi minut huoneeseeni ja selittänyt kaiken huoneen toiminnallisuudesta. Check-in oli myös tehokas Xiaoyan. Kiitos. Meillä oli illallinen ja aamiainen hotellissa. Elintarvikkeet olivat mielestäni erittäin herkullisia ja kilpailukykyisesti kohtuuhintaisia verrattuna Alankomaiden hintoihin. Ympäristö baariin, joka katseli jokea, on mukava. Haluaisin varmasti palata lähitulevaisuudessa."

The Hongzhushan Hotel (Hongzhushan Binguan) is located at the foot of Emei Mountain (Emei Shan), just 200 m (218 yd) from Baoguo Temple and 500 m (546 yd) from rich forests and surrounded by six romantic peaks, two valleys and three lakes.

Located among several villas, guestrooms at this Emei Shan hotel offer all the standard amenities as well as flatscreen TVs and a variety of beautiful views of the surrounding forests, lakes and mountains. Some rooms also come with a balcony with a table and chairs.
