I honestly regret not staying here when I was in Thailand! I only booked a room for a few hours to store my luggage before my 1am flight, but wow, this place is top tier. Everything smells fresh, the entire hostel is spotless, and the sheets are the whitest I’ve ever seen. They even have a system where you leave your shoes outside to keep everything extra clean, and it really shows. I’m not kidding… this hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely recommend Monomer Hostel to anyone visiting Bangkok!

The best hotel for you to stay in Bangkok; it was our first time in the city and the staff were accommodating to us. Our room was really spectacular, views all over Phra Nakhon and most of the spots that we visited were just a few minute drive from our hotel. I really recommend this place for anyone who's traveling to see the sights and beauty of Thailand and its people. With budget in mind, they really exceeded our expectations. The hostel is very modern and generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

Amazing hostel. Clean beds and bathrooms. Making breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable. Also they have activities in the weekend with free food and you get to meet people so amazing. The location is little bit far from action but metro is close about 10 min walk and can get you anywhere.

Perfect stay at this Hostel. I stayed in a private double room which was very spacious and clean. The price of 900THB per night is completely fair and valid. The staff made it easy to extend my stay here and were always very helpful. They also have great amenities like laundry and a kitchen. One thing on the downside is that the doors are not sound proof at all and you can here if your neighbor closes their door. Thanks for having me, i'll come back soon!

Overall the location is great, very near to train station. The area is full of food choices and it’s convenient. Room is good but the facilities is a bit run down. Hence, there is a big rest area for us to have over packed food or a simple cooking. Toilet needs to be enhanced, too many stagnant water spots and it’s smelly. My bad experience is with the reception and most of them is very bad in communication and I felt a bit rude.

Great location, a lot of food choices and pretty convenient. The only thing is the bath room and toilet...keep up the maintance and upkeep

Overall Experience: This hotel is a decent option, especially if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet. The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha! P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)

I liked that the rooms were kept cool and quiet at night, and the lockers provided were spacious enough for my belongings. The shared bathrooms were consistently clean throughout my stay, with good water pressure and hot showers, which is always a big plus for a budget hostel. Location-wise, Ploy Hostel is very convenient. It’s close to public transportation, local restaurants, convenience stores, and several attractions. Getting around the city was incredibly easy, and I felt safe walking in the area both day and night. Overall, Ploy Hostel offers great value for money. It’s a comfortable, affordable, and reliable place to stay for solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone looking for a friendly and relaxing environment. The staff’s kindness, the clean facilities, and the convenient location all made my stay enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
