"Ajomatka hotellilta lentokentälle kestää noin 22 minuuttia. Ympäröivä alue on hyvin syrjäinen ja sopii jatkolennoille. Huone on suhteellisen suuri. Mutta hyttysiä on paljon. "The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station. The price corresponds to the quality. The bed is comfortable, and the linen is clean. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff. My flight from Bangkok was canceled, and the receptionist helped me call the airport and the airline to replace my ticket. However, the biggest drawback of this hotel is the consistently cold pool. Although the pool is beautiful, as depicted in the photos, but nobody swims because the water is ice-cold, as if someone had intentionally added ice to it. We were unable to swim in the pool either in the morning, afternoon, or evening, despite the heat outside. It was impossible to put our child in such water. This is strange and sad, because for me, the main criterion for choosing a hotel was a rooftop pool with a good view."

"Hotelli on yksinkertaisesti upea!!! Huone on valtava ja sieltä on upea näköala Bangkokiin. Siellä on täysimittainen työtila. Mieheni työskenteli kannettavallaan ja oli tyytyväinen suureen työpöytään ja mukavaan työtuoliin. Siivous on päivittäin, mukaan lukien lakanoiden vaihto. "I had a great stay at Wyndham Bangkok Queen’s Convention Centre from last Friday until today. The location is excellent — it’s super close to the MRT, making it very easy to get around Bangkok.
The park nearby is perfect for running or taking a relaxing walk, which was a big plus for me. There are also several 7-Eleven stores within walking distance, so convenience is never an issue.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely miss this place and hope this won’t be the last time I stay here. Highly recommended."

VVieraskäyttäjäSe oli ensimmäinen kerta, kun yöpyin Grand Hyatt Bangkokissa, ja se oli hieno kokemus.
Aamiaisbuffet on erittäin runsas ja hinta erittäin kohtuullinen.
Palveluhenkilökunta on melko ystävällistä ja kohteliasta.
Illallisbuffetin mereneläviä on parannettava, ja hinta on todellakin korkealla puolella.
Henkilökunta, joka tervehti meitä ovella, oli erittäin omistautunut ja auttoi soittamaan autoon ja kopioimaan auton numeron.
Uintiympäristö on melko hyvä ja siivous on erittäin huolellista.

CCurt 常鹰We saved this hotel until last – slightly fancier than the other 3 in our time in Thailand – as a little final night trip, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing of the lot. The price, by global standards, might not be eye-watering. But by Thailand prices, it was certainly higher end, at over 800rmb per night with a ~450 (2000bht) deposit upon arrival. It did not meet those standards, I'm afraid to say.
First things first, it should be said that it is fairly easy to get to on the MTR system, just a very short walk from Hwai Khwang, though it should be pointed out that when using Trip to find the location of Google Maps, I was given the wrong spot (further down the road, so actually a nice surprise to see it was closer, and I wont hold this against the hotel as it is likely nothing to do with them.)
Serve at check-in was good, bags carried up the stairs for us and taken to the room with the porter stood waiting as we arrived. Check-in staff were as friendly as one would expect at a Marriott-run hotel of this quality, & though I was slightly surprised by the price of the deposit it was ultimately fine.
We had booked a deluxe room with a double bed, and were told that since there was none available (?), we'd be upgraded to a Premier. Looking at the app since, I'm struggling to see where they differ. The decor in the Premier is perhaps a bit more modern, but they are the same size with the same bathroom (more on that later), and the lower price-point is on a much higher floor (ergo better view, I'd assume). In truth, had I paid for a Premier & been greeted with our room, I'd have been even more disappointed.
The room was fine, but I'm not sure much more than that. A decent size, though by no means surprisingly big. It was at least quite airy, and the bed pretty comfortable, though seriously lacking in plug sockets. I find it rare to see a hotel these days without plug sockets on both sides of the bed, especially a hotel at this price point. It meant that only one phone could be charged nearby, the other on the table on the other side of the room.
The bathroom, though, was really, really disappointing (& that's putting it lightly). The bathtub might have been a nice touch, had it not quite clearly had dried on blood stains in it. I've never experienced this in any hotel I've ever stayed at, no matter how cheap. Let alone at one double the price of anywhere else we stayed in Bangkok and Thailand! The sink, too, was clearly scratched up dirty, with two clear globs of dried on mucus. No face washing in there for us. Fortunate perhaps, given the number of towels provided too was pretty light. The bin in the bathroom also came with no bin bag. I'd hope that the inside is therefore cleaned regularly, but given what we'd seen before, I wasn't filled with hope.
Elswhere, breakfast was generally of expected quality. Nothing to write home about per se, but a very nice dining area and good service in fairness. The coffee was decent, though again by no means hugely memorable. The swimming pool is a highlight, offering great views across the city (indeed, the view from our room was quite nice too – though can't help thinking it would be better from a higher floor, like in the cheaper rooms!), with ample comfy beds and free towels. It might be a bit small in peak season, but there were only 3 other groups sharing with us, so plenty of space for a swim.
We also enjoyed the massage (850bht). The price was not included in the room fee, but I thought 850 seemed a decent price for the quality and the convenience.
Each of these things could be the most memorable part of the trip, were we not greeted by the dirtiest bathroom I've ever experienced in a hotel. & that's a real pity, because it was so avoidable too! Especially from a Marriott hotel, I'd really expect better.

Hotellissa on puolisuunnikkaan muotoinen sisäpuoli Chao Phraya -joelle päin, ja useimmista huoneista on näkymät uima-altaalle ja joen rannalle. Aamiainen oli runsas ja tyydyttävä useilla juustoilla ja marinoiduilla oliiveilla. Vaikka huonevarustelu on hieman vanhentunut, puutteita ei piiloteta. Hotellissa on erillinen laituri ja lautta. Läheiselle Sathorn MRT Center -asemalle liikennöi päivittäin kymmeniä lentoja, joten sinne pääsee helposti metroon ja muihin lautoihin. Se on vain yhden lauttapysäkin päässä kuuluisasta Siam City Mall -ostoskeskuksesta. Hotelli on vain muutaman sadan metrin päässä Hui Tian Lun Amu*****t -ostoskeskuksesta, joka on erittäin kätevä ruokailu- ja ostosmahdollisuuksiin. Myös Chao Phraya River -yökierroksen aloituslaituri on täällä.
Erittäin suositeltavaa. Suosittelemme myös kohtuuhintaisia uima-allas- ja jokinäköalahuoneita (tämän hotellin pohjaratkaisu on hieman outo, sviitit ovat kaikki kaupunkinäköalahuoneita, kun taas ystävämme sviiteistä on vain kaupunkinäköala)

GGarreth HuntBangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed...
The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them.
The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality.
Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

LLazar LazarovskiErinomainen keskeinen sijainti lähellä kaikkea, mutta kaukana muista nähtävyyksistä, kuten Suuresta palatsista, Wat Arunin temppelistä, Icon Siam Mallista jne. Grabille pääsee 30–50 minuutissa liikenteestä riippuen. Aamiainen on erittäin hyvälaatuinen, mutta ei liian monipuolinen. Henkilökunta on mahtavaa, erityisesti Dome-vastaanoton henkilökunta, joka on aina avulias kaikessa ja positiivinen hymyillen. DDianaShWe stayed at the hotel with the whole family: 2 adults and two children, and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is very important to us, and here it was really good: there's an egg station, yogurts, fresh greens and vegetables, waffles, pancakes, lots of pastries and desserts. I missed a bit of variety in the tea selection, and the coffee quality could be improved, but in all other aspects, the breakfast was varied, fresh, and tasty. The soundproofing in the rooms I would rate 7/10; you can slightly hear what's happening in the hallway, but it doesn't disturb sleep. We also liked the spa, although the sauna in the women's changing room was turned off, and unfortunately, there was no one at the spa reception for 2 hours to ask to turn it on. The pool is cool, but since it was 33 degrees outside, it was pleasant to swim in. The hotel has a large, secure parking lot where we left our car for the entire stay. Transport accessibility is very good. They have installed new elevators, so there are no issues with them now. We happened to be there for Chinese New Year and saw a performance that took place in the lobby on the first floor. We really liked it and would be happy to return here again.

1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course)
2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions.
3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned
Your experience may vary, but certainly not one of the experience I was thinking I would received.

Alakerrassa on 711-linja 10 metrin päässä ja 5 hierontahoitolaa 50 metrin säteellä. Se on erittäin kätevä. BTS-asemalle on noin 10 minuutin kävelymatka. Uima-allas on katolla. Aamiainen on OK. Suurin osa vieraista on ulkomaalaisia, ei montaa kiinalaista. Huone on suuri ja siinä on kylpyamme. Tilat ovat noin 80 % uusia. Hinta-laatusuhde on hyvä. Älä valitse tätä, jos olet erityisen nirso...
