Milano Hostellit

Amazing location — just a few minutes’ walk to the Duomo and metro station. The staff were super friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. The atmosphere was lively and social, with free welcome drinks, shared dinners, and plenty of opportunities to meet other travelers. The common areas and rooftop terrace were cozy and fun, and breakfast was great too! The room had a slight musty smell and the air circulation wasn’t very good, so it felt a bit stuffy at times. However, everything else was great and the staff made the stay enjoyable.

1. Convenient location. 90 mins from the MXP airport and 40 mins from the Duomo church. 2. The room is tidy and clean, with modern air conditioner, good for the hot Italian summer. 3. So big toilet and so big public area for social. There is a free water machine. 4. There are many local restaurants around the hotel, especially the gelato cafe.

They provided free flow of sparking water and Americano and breakfast for free as well! Amenities are good and they even provided sharing bottles of shampoo/body wash. Also, it’s actually a bar at night. The minus point is the location take 30mins by train to city area and walk to nearest train station take about 10mins. Overall it was a good stay!

Suosittelen tätä majoitusta kokonaisuudessaan, tilat ja huoneet ovat varsin mukavat. Mielestäni aamiaisalueen miesjohtaja kaipaa kuitenkin hieman pohdintaa ja kunnollista koulutusta. Täällä on kaksi aamiaisvaihtoehtoa: 8 € ja 4 €. Valitsin 4 €:n vaihtoehdon, mutta mitään ei tapahtunut hetkeen. Hänen naispuolinen kollegansa, jonka englanti ei ollut kovin sujuvaa, otti maksun ja antoi minulle kahvin. Myöhemmin he antoivat minulle tyhjän paperipussin aamiaiseksi. Kun aloin käyttää pussia, miesjohtaja kertoi minulle toistuvasti, että aamiainen sisälsi vain ”yhden kahvin ja yhden croissantin”, hän sanoi sen ainakin kolme kertaa. Vastasin myös, että olin saanut tyhjän pussin eikä croissantia ollenkaan. Sen sijaan, että hän olisi selittänyt kohteliaasti tai ratkaissut ongelman, hän vain toisti itseään ja käveli pois tekemättä mitään. Kaiken kaikkiaan paikka itsessään on hyvä, mutta henkilökunnan koulutus on vakavasti puutteellista. Vaikka he eivät olisi jostakin varmoja, peruskohteliaisuutta ja kommunikointia on odotettavissa, ja valitettavasti tämä miesjohtaja ei selvästikään ole saanut tällaista koulutusta.

My stay at the hotel was good. I looked for a quiet simple place close to the central station, the city center and a metro station, so it covered all my needs for a one-night stay. You can have breakfast there, cold or hot, which is a good option. Coffee and tea are also avalable.The staff at the reception is extremely helpful and friendly - thank you for support!

Probably the best social hostel I have been to. Free breakfast buffet and a drink when you come. They have a bar with the hostel which is quite popular and has activities every day. Had amazing cooking classes with Jack making pasta and Tiramisu, highly recommend that one. Good connectivity with tram and Metro station.

Quite nice, close to Milano centrale, very polite stuff. Shared spaces such as kitchen/ bathrooms/ sitting room are quite cute, i even have seen a washing machine. Bed rooms are extremely easy, just metal beds(pretty noisy actually, every movement produces unpleasant creaking) no extra sockets, next to bed. A bit noisy when the window is open(and it’s opened all the time in a summer time). Can be a good cheap solution for couple of nights.

The best thing about this hostel is its location, just one stop from Lampugnano Bus Station. However, I didn’t really like the hostel as it gave off a creepy vibe. The walk from the station is very quiet, though you can trust Google Maps to guide you. The hostel is tucked away in an alley off the main road. The shower room has only a plastic cover, not a proper door, and wasn’t very clean. The room reminded me of a prison or rehab facility, and even the living room had an unappealing, old-fashioned style. The shared kitchen isn't clean. Additional charges include €3 for a large towel, €2 for a small towel, €3.5 for using the washing machine, and €3.5 for the dryer.

No elevator, small restroom and not clean. No privacy with the beds. Did not clean room every day. Had to pay extra for bedsheets. 5 min walk from train and bus station
