If I could give 20 stars, I absolutely would! This hotel liked apartment in Florence was my best stay ever in Italy. The apartment was meticulously clean, everything looked brand new and thoughtfully maintained. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from the bathroom to the kitchen. Honestly, you can arrive with just your luggage and feel completely at home. The room was super spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and daily cleaning was provided. One detail that truly impressed us, we left some dirty dishes in the morning, fully expecting to wash them ourselves in the evening, but the staff actually did our dishes as well. That level of care and attention is rare. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect, walkable to major attractions and very well connected by tram and buses, making getting around Florence effortless. An outstanding stay from start to finish. Highly, highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic concept around the Social Hub. Great location just a short walk from both the Railway station and the city cultural centre. Tram stop across the road with a direct service to both the Station (2 Stops) and to the Airport Terminal (20 Mins). Fantastic staff. I will look for Social Hubs now wherever I stay.

We had a very solid stay at Hotel Grifone. A pretty large, comfortable, and clean room, with a balcony even. It was a bit of a hassle to get to our room (2 different elevators/staircases separated by a hallway), but on our first trip to the room, a staff member showed us the way, which was a nice touch. We also really appreciated the free flavored waters and teas/snacks/mimosas provided in the lobby - was a lovely surprise. The hotel is in a very residential area, so it's pretty quiet at night. Does take around 25 minutes by bus to get there from the old town area, but they came relatively regularly (the signs posted on the stops were hit-or-miss on accuracy - the buses usually ran late). Signora Helena on the breakfast team was truly the sweetest person we met during our entire 2 week trip around the country of Italy. She always greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service (remembering that we have yogurt every morning and bringing it to us without us asking by the third day of our stay, checked in about what coffee we wanted, and more!). We really loved her, and it made our mornings brighter to see her! The front desk staff were all excellent as well! Super professional and answered questions about Florence and the hotel with ease.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central station. But the street is too narrow and noisy when there were traffic. The staff are not friendly nor helpful. The only time you feel you are welcome was you booked tours through them. The breakfast room is small and in the basement. There is no view throughout the whole hotel.

Huone oli siisti ja suht hiljainen kunhan hotellin sisäpihalla(?) soinut musiikki lakkasi joskus yhden aikaan yöllä. Sänky ja tyynyt oli hyvät, aamiainen oli myös suht tasokas. Huoneeseen en saanut millään valoja päälle, vaikka ne kylpyhuoneeseen syttyivätkin kun huonekortin laittoi seinän lukijaan. Ei jaksanut vaivautua kysymään kun selvisi suht ok ilman valojakin. Sijainti oli tavallaan hyvä kun ei ollut ihan ytimessä. Ja hotellin kattoterassi on pakko kokea!

入住當天上午我提前抵達，雖然未到規定的辦理時間，但前台員工主動協助我提前入住，對此我十分感謝。然而，我被安排入住的房間存在明顯問題：不僅緊鄰雜物間（不知為何在意大利我總被分到此類房間），而且室內下水道氣味濃重。本想着工作人員讓我提前入住已是照顧，便打算忍耐。可淋浴之後，異味愈發嚴重，實在無法忍受連續住三晚。 外出返回後，我向前台提出換房請求，接待的是一位不同的女員工。她顯得很不情願，神情中流露出嫌麻煩的態度，表現不夠專業。雖然最終為我更換了房間，但新房間的衞生間比之前小了近一半，我不確定是否為同等房型。 直到次日，另一位前台女孩主動為此前的房間問題向我致歉，也承認了異味的存在。整體而言，這次入住經歷可謂優劣交織，服務水平參差不齊。

The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious. The check-in instructions were clear. The noise from the street was disturbing. Even with the window closed, you can hear the sound of every passing tram. It is no coincidence that earplugs were prepared, although they cannot improve the vibration caused by the passing tram much. And a personal note. In my previous booking, at other accommodations, the host's communication - despite the fact that there is no personal meeting - usually includes some kindness and personal attention. This was not the case here, although it would have been nice.

The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend the Anglo American Hotel to travelers seeking a centrally located, well-appointed hotel with a charming ambiance in Florence.
