"Had a lovely stay, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We requested a room close to the elevator and they gave us a spacious one just as we asked. The location is fantastic, especially if you're visiting during the Christmas market season; everything is within walking distance. The only downsides were the weak internet connection, so it’s better to have your own data plan if you rely on being online, and bed sheets are only changed upon request. Overall, still a pleasant experience and would recommend for the location, helpful staff and lovely spacious rooms!"

"Ich habe mich in diesem Hotel rundum wohlgefühlt! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das außergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – vom Empfang bis zum Zimmerservice war jeder Mitarbeiter aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell. Man spürt, dass hier echter Servicegedanke gelebt wird. Mein Zimmer war makellos sauber und sehr gepflegt. Ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt und konnte meinen Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die hervorragende Lage. Und besonders angenehm: In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten – was heutzutage absolut keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr ist! Insgesamt ein großartiges Hotel mit tollem Team, hoher Sauberkeit und idealer Lage. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!"

"Varasin tämän paikan, koska halusin mennä jonnekin joulun aikana. Valitettavasti Kölnin joulumarkkinat päättyivät 23. päivä, joten markkinat eivät enää olleet auki, mutta pääsimme silti joulutunnelmaan. Sijainti on erinomainen, vain 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Kölnin tuomiokirkosta. Lähistöllä on myös monia ravintoloita, joten sinulla ei ole vaikeuksia löytää jotain syötävää. Aamiainen on tyypillistä Hiltonille. Se oli aivan herkullista. Haluaisin käyttää sitä uudelleen."

"The rooms were really spacious and the breakfast was delicious!! I would really recommend booking that if you‘re staying here. The only thing I have to criticize is that the gym is really small and it will quickly get crowded if multiple guests want to use it at once. There is only one multi use machine and treadmills, a bike and some weights which are way too heavy for most trainings. Overall we had a really great stay though!"

"Great place to stay..just above the station with mere minutes to walk . Nice room and splendid breakfast offerings. Room does not provide toothbrush 🪥 so bring one . No slippers if you feel that you need."

"Single room, on the 5th floor, which is only reachable by a fly of stairs.! If you aren't mobile enough or can't carry the luggage tell upfront or contact hotel Single room perfect for a one night stay. Room 502 haf an amazing view of the Cologne Cathedral. I choose this hotel for a overnight, to continue my journey the next day. A 5 min walk from Köln HBF"

"The size of room and cleanliness is good and expected for a 5 star Marriot hotel. But very poor service staff and i can see very limited staff. The first receptionist i talk to was not so courteous or warm as we came early and decided to drop of our bags and go out till check in. The way she was communicating with us was with not so warm or good attitude. So we didn't say anything as she asked us to come 3pm though we arrived 9 am despite i am a Bonvoy elite member. After we checkin 3.30 pm we have to wait in lobby for 15 minutes to get back our bags and the next receptionist was no so warm also. I am not sure its my asian looks!! After checkin i asked for slippers and dental kits as both were not there and never they gave it despite saying they will send it..and again i went reception when we go out and come back and then receptionist said he will get it and i can carry it...never ever in my life of staying in a star rated hotel i was asked to carry slippers to my room instead of sending it to the room. So dissapoonted with Marriot Cologne. May be we expect more as we are pampered by the same hotel group in Gulf and Asia!!!"

"The room was nice and clean however, there is no fridge in the room. The aircon was not working, when we tried to call the reception multiple times to help us fix the issue but no one pick up even though we called multiple times. The parking lot is at the mainbuilding and we stayed in the other building which is across the street and doesn't have the reception desk. It says there is parking provided but you still have to pay 23 euro for 24 hours. In the end they waived this for us since the aircon didn't work and they didn't fix it. The coffee provided was nice. The hotel is quite in the night but during the day there was some construction noice since there are some renovations going on around in the area."
