I had the best time at the Goodtiming. The location is directly in the village with so many options for food, drinks and shops. I just stayed for two nights but I enjoyed it so much! Moreover the room was outstanding! The view is extremely beautiful and it was enormous. Also the service was perfect! They were so kind and always tried to help with everything! They also have an outdoor gym area as well as washing machines and dryer. Also the pool looks soo great! I would totally recommend to stay here if you are searching for an hotel. You can also easily rent a scooter next door and even if you can’t speak Chinese they’ll make it work for you. They also offer a shuttle service! All in all I will definitely come back here! I had an amazing time! Thank you so much for this amazing time and the outstanding service!

Additionally, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Yvette, the Manager of the Lakeside Restaurant. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor during my dining experiences added a personal touch that made my stay even more memorable. The Alika hôtel is so serene, perfect for pure relaxation, and Sally had a very good taste for decoration. It blends so nicely with the natural vibe, every corner’s calm. Shoutout to Stephen, our guest assistant, who was insanely attentive and made our trip so smooth. Channy’s morning yoga class was so relaxing too – the best way to start the day in this peaceful setting! Breakfast was top quality, fresh and tasty, and the whole vibe’s just exactly what you need for a chill trip with friends. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting a nature-focused, relaxing escape and plenty of activities.

This hotel comes highly recommended. Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly accommodating and even upgraded my stay to a villa, which was fantastic. The food at the Horizon Beach Bar was outstanding, and the staff were attentive, always anticipating my needs. The cuisine at the Western restaurant was also excellent. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful experience.

Its located about 1.7-2km from the railway station, some may need to get didi to bring you to the hotel. City centre, night market and the shopping centre is about 2km from the hotel too. The room is clean, hygenic and spacious. Cleaning lady did a thorough job. The hotel lobby staff are helpful, giving us some ideas and recommendation to the tourist hotspots. In Wan Ning, the various beaches (shen zhou ban dou, shi mei wan, ri yue wan) are 30km-60 km away from city centre. The hotel provides tasty Chinese breakfast (coffee, tea, milk, soy milk, buns, fen tang, porridge, noodle, fried vegetables etc). We had a wonderful stay here.

Decent accommodation— clean, near the wanning train station and there’s eateries around. The only downside is the gym is not really a gym and at night there’s always a bunch of locals smoking at the restaurant in the lobby and it can get quite messy. But didn’t affect our stay and still happy to stay again if we are in wanning :) it’s far from riyuewan though!

I stayed here for 5 days in the off season. Booked a single room, price was decent. The bed was comfortable, it had a desk for me to work during the day. There's a gym on the ground level that honestly has all the equipment I needed, a rare thing in these parts. The owner is from dongbei and was super friendly, he treated us to baijiu and frozen pears (dongbei). This was a great spot to chill out for a while and relax. I should probably mention that my Mandarin is pretty good. I met another traveller that could speak English but other than that you might need to whip out the ol goog translate. I needed to move on otherwise I would've stayed here longer, great place!
