Hotellit aamiaisella kohteessa Huế

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive staff, who made me feel at home immediately. The accommodation was spotless, elegant, and very comfortable. The room was beautifully designed with great attention to detail, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. Everything was well-maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to assist with transportation arrangements, local recommendations, and every request I had — always with a smile and sincere kindness. Their helpfulness made my trip in Hue smooth, stress-free, and truly memorable. If you are looking for a hotel with excellent accommodation, outstanding service, and truly warm-hearted staff, I highly recommend Scarlett Boutique Hotel. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Hue. This has been our favourite accomodation to date. Staff have been amazing. We arrived earlier than expected from an overnight bus (ie 4.30am!!) and we were able to drop off our bags before wandering around the city of Hue as it woke up. We were then able to check in early (around 9am) without any extra charge (lucky our room was available!) so we could have a nap before lunch! Clean room with all we needed. We did have opening windows but no view but we got what we paid for and was in a relatively (we are in Vietnam!) quiet little side street close to walking street (but away from loud music etc). Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was made to order and delicious (can have as much as you like… recommend the mango smoothies 😊)

Hands down, they have one of the best breakfast spread! There is a good mix of continental and local dishes and plenty of tropical fresh fruits. What I love most is the 2-3 different types of soup noodles they have on rotation daily. We even received a complimentary dinner for 4 pax and the food was very delicious, and service was faultless. The hotel, though not shiny and modern like most are today, it is a very well maintained property. The rooms are very lovely and spacious. We had 2 connecting room and one of it was extremely spacious with a lounging area, very suitable as we’re traveling with kids. The room was spotless and so was the common area of the hotel. The a/c - wow! The only comment I have is the small pool which was really more for dipping than swimming. Lots of cafes and eateries within walking distance and easy to grab back and forth. I have no doubt I’d stay in this hotel again if I’m back in Hue. Big kudos to the team, they truly understand the hospitality business.

We had a wonderful vacation in Banyan Tree. The service here is really on another level compared to other 5 star hotels as you are assigned a Villa host who takes care of you during your stay. Our host, Man, was very friendly and very helpful, going as far as to go to some shops to get our daughter some writing supplies so she could do her homework. The villa is nice and it was great to lounge in our private pool. The beach is also private and quiet. The hotel facilities are shared with the sister hotel Angsana which you can travel between with the buggy. The hotels kids club is a little far, closer to the golf so you cannot walk there however the kids club staff are very good with kids. Overall we had a great stay.

Minulla oli suurin majoitus Angsana Resort, ja en voi suositella sitä tarpeeksi. Lintu itse on hämmästyttävä, kauniilla ympäristöllä, mukavilla huoneilla ja erinomaiset tilat, mutta mikä todella tekee siitä erityistä on ihmiset, jotka siellä työskentelevät. Kun saapuin, olin tervetullut todellisella lämpöllä ja vieraanvaraisuudella. Henkilöstö meni ylä- ja kauemmaksi kaikissa vuorovaikutuksissa – aina hymyilevä, aina ystävällinen, ja aina valmis auttamaan mitä tahansa tarvitsin. Olipa se vastaanottossa, ravintoloissa, uima-allas, tai jopa talonhoitoryhmässä, kaikki osoittivat niin huolellista ja huomiota yksityiskohtiin, että tunsin itseni täysin kotona. Mitä vaikutti eniten oli se, että se ei ollut vain hyvä palvelu – se tuntui rehellisesti. Tiimi todella ylpeä tehdä vieraita onnellisia, ja voit tuntea, että pienissä asioissa, kuten muistaa mieltymykset, tervehtiä sinua nimellä, tai tarkistaa, jos nautitte oleskelu. Se on tämä ystävyys- ja ammattitaitotaso, joka luo tällaisen lämmin ilmapiiri resortissa. Angsana Resort ei ole vain rentoutumispaikka, se on paikka, jossa todella huolehdit. Olemme vain yhden yön Hue. Hotelli oli fantastinen, erittäin mukava uima-allas. Erittäin puhtaat ja viihtyisä huoneita ja erinomainen aamiainen. Suosittelen todella hotellia. Myös heillä on mukava ravintola juuri hotellin vieressä, jos etsit hyvää vietnamilaista ruokaa. Lisäpiste: Unohdin muutamia asioita hotellissa ja he onnistuivat lähettämään sen minulle Hue-Da Nang alle 24h. Tämä ei liity hotellihuoneistoihin, mutta arvostan todella mitä he tekivät.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The location is quite good. The market and the citadel were easy to reach. There were a lot of restaurants and SPAs around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They organized a scooter for me to rent and gave me a lot of information about the area and what to do. My room was nice, clean and spacious.

The location and the service is good but the room is old. The gym also is small and the equipment is old, the swimming pool also small and looks dirty. We stayed 5 days but the breakfast provide the same for 5 days, easy to get boring. The noise cancelling in the room is bad, i can hear from outside clearly. Everything in the room is suck especially the bathroom. However, highly for the service and staffs there.

We booked rooms for 1 night only, but faced multiple problems. 1. They rent bikes till midnight only! But nobody told us that information. And the next day in the early morning (7.40 am) I got a message from a reception with ”if you keep bikes now we are going to charge you for one more day”. Day before I asked at reception ”should we bring bikes back before chekout” and answer was OK! So remember that you have to bring it till midnight, if you rent for 1 day only. Otherwise they tell you that you rent for more than 1 day! And probably no one is going to say you this information before. 2. I paid all the prices online, but at checkout they asked me to pay by cash... So actually it was kinda annoying, cause we waited for a taxi, but i had to explain that I already paid online. 3. So there were few little mistakes/misunderstandings. For example my friends ordered breakfast while check-in, but tomorrow morning stuff said ”you didn't order breakfast” and stuff like that. Small problems, but it was a lot of them But my room was nice, clean and with a perfect view. The area is quiet and calm, but not much food around, you have to drive/walk for it.
