Nice rooms but you can hear the people walk by and the room darkness isn’t really good if you want to sleep late in the morning.
Breakfast served directly in the room around 9am. Unfortunately the taste wasn’t really good.

"We have stay at the sister hotel to this one named Samanta by the Sea and knew it would be nice as well. Everything is new and very clean, lady at front desk is so kind and helpful. The breakfast is top tier 👌
Location is about 4 minutes to the pier via motorbike, it right in the middle of the island so getting to all the beaches is relatively easy.
For the price it was 100% worth it and can't wait to go back to stay."

"I would like to thank all the staff in Mila. We had a great romantic weekend. 100% I would stay here next time. Location is great. Pool view is outstanding! The best room is pool access!!! It’s like your own villa with sea view. They can provide you a transfer from a pierce to the hotel. Hotel 100 percent worth its money."

"A lovely little getaway hotel - not far from the pier and they offer a pick up and drop off service which is so very helpful in the heat. The rooms were spacious, clean and housed a lovely comfy large bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay again."

"I’ m here for my girlfriend’s birthday and done the booking yesterday. I got the booking confirmation instantly. And now we arrived to the hotel and checked in, that is when they got me surprised as a fellow hospitality service worker. They welcomed me so warmly like I have been here for many times and give me a room upgrade. I have been to koh larn and stayed in several hotels but this is the first time I got a surprise. I really appreciate it and hope someone can find this helpful for looking to stay on the Koh Larn Island. Cheers!!
P.S - This hotel is just next to the pier so you can also easily find it within a few steps as soon as you arrive to the island."

VVieraskäyttäjäWe liked the hotel in general. The receptionist is friendly. Breakfast is the same every day: eggs, bacon, fruit, juice, toast, meatball and mushroom soup, cornflakes, yogurt. Tea and coffee from bags. The bed mattress is hard, the pillows are uncomfortable, but the children do not notice this, they slept well. The room has a TV (not smart), a hair dryer, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a fan. You can hang your clothes on hangers. There was no soap in the bathroom. It is a 5-minute walk to the market near the temple and from there you can take tuk-tuks to the beaches. The beach near the hotel is not for swimming. The hotel can rent motorbikes, and if you book a room directly with them, they give you one for free. On the second floor there is an open area with sun loungers, a beautiful view opens up. If I go to this island a second time, I will take a closer look at other hotels for this price. It would be great if there was a pool, at least a small one. On the day of departure, a free transfer to the pier is organized. Thank you very much!

DDaniel84 UkWell what a place , excellent , on arrival a very warm welcome from the owner/manager and we were early but room was ready and happy for us to check in , they offer tea, coffee and noodles for free 😊
The room was perfect and probably the best bed we had slept in for 20days , fridge full of things that you can drink and pay for at end of your stay
We then took a walk but with not a great foot from a injury we soon seeked for a scooter and the owner let us rent his at 250bht each so we had 1 each .
Best thing we did was getting a scooter its only way to see this island and we only had 1 night.
There are a lot of places to rent scooters but if you can deal with the 3min walk from the pier to this place I would you hang on so to give them the revenue
The island is lovely , places to sea , seafood buffets at a low cost and I mean bargains
I just wish we had longer I think I could of done a week lol

YY003Very aesthetically pleasing hotel and the swimming pool is great, sun until 5pm-ish, comfortable bed and spacious room. The staff is very welcoming and kind. We had a request regarding a room change and they were able to accommodate us. The breakfast was good and with enough options. They offer scooter rentals and a shuttle service from and to the port.
Be aware this hotel has a lot of steps, if you are physically challenged, I would not recommend it. Other than that it’s located in a quiet part of the island but very central which makes it feel even more of a good getaway hotel.

For breakfast, I surely do eat a lot..
1 thing, the toilet flush tank is not working properly unless I fill the tank manually.. But other than that, it's a very comfortable and cozy stay 😊
I will definitely come back soon. Since it's only 3 hours away from Bangkok 😁

The hotel had a pick up service from the pier just give them a call and then there gonna pick u up , when we got to the hotel there informed us the rules the staff was nice and helpful also we could rent a motorbike from them which is 300 thb per day
The rooms are acctuly nice but it just open a few months ago the toilets were a bit dirty the showehead was rusted the fridge had a lot of ants .. when we stayed there it was rainy season wich made the alarm set off from the door alll the night wich was very annoying as we couldn sleep at all
Breakfast was just a ok couple of eggs and toast and sausage
When next morning we’re telling the receptionist all we got was just a sorry for the broken alarm as she say it’s normal cause it’s raining season .. really should improve in that

This is not our first stay. We were here six months ago, stayed in the same resort, and deliberately came back again. Consistency matters, and Tawaen Beach Resort delivers it every single time.
The staff are outstanding — professional, genuinely kind, attentive, and always accommodating. You feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of from the moment you arrive.
The food and coffee pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to neighboring resorts where prices feel exaggerated and borderline absurd. Here, you actually feel you’re getting value without being taken advantage of.
Cleanliness deserves special mention. The hygiene standards are truly top-tier resort level — rooms, lobby, common areas — everything is spotless and well maintained. This is something many resorts on the island fail at, even if they look nice on the outside.
Location? Simply unbeatable.
You step out of the resort and within seconds, you’re standing in front of a magical turquoise-blue sea and perfectly clean, soft white sand — genuinely one of the best beach fronts in Koh Larn.
They have beach lounges and chairs where you can relax all day, and the beach staff constantly adjust the umbrellas as the sun moves — a small detail that makes a huge difference. Service is attentive without being intrusive.
What truly impressed us:
Over the past few weeks, we met multiple couples (not one, not two — FOUR) who stayed at nearby resorts and had nightmare experiences — poor hygiene, bad rooms, disappointing service. After visiting our room, lobby, and seeing the standards at Tawaen Beach Resort, they immediately canceled their bookings and rebooked here.
That alone speaks volumes.
We live just outside Pattaya and come to Koh Larn almost every month. One thing is absolutely certain:
We will never stay anywhere else. Ever.
The pricing is very fair, especially compared to the nonsense prices next door that don’t deliver even half the quality.
Try this place once — and you’re hooked for life.
We proudly consider ourselves lifetime clients.
Couldn’t ask for better.

Bike is available but have to add 300 baht for the whole day use. When is the time to check out, they provide the service to send you to the pier. Just would be better if they do provide iron.
Anyway i will come to stay in this hotel again if i woild visit Koh Larn
