衞生：主要的需求就是希望房間乾淨一點，看其他酒店有很多衞生條件堪憂，但是這家酒店衞生條件確實不錯，很乾凈。總體來説還是很滿意的，有什麼問題及時和老闆溝通都能夠得到快速的解決，還免費幫忙從家庭房升到了4人房。衹是房間地漏不太好，處理了兩回，老闆説是因為我們在1樓還有隔壁地漏也出現了問題，所以一起堵了，出現問題後，幫我們把溢出來的水拖掉解決了。 設施：部分設施不太完善，洗衣服晾衣服要等很久。但是感覺已經很不錯了，東西都是從國內運過去的，老闆説買了幾個洗衣機年後才能到，感覺後面的體驗感會越來越好的！ 環境：環境很不錯，位置也還可以，離新碼頭大約5分鐘的步行路程，走到海鮮市場碼頭十幾分鍾。 服務：服務真的不錯，春節期間房間都住滿了。酒店除了沒有接送機服務，其他應有盡有。有任何問題和客服溝通都能快速得到解決。比如説換錢，忘記帶房卡，買泡麪之類的。早餐雖然不是很豐盛，但是可以湊合吃。 總的來説還是很滿意的。

服務很好，從下訂單開始小敏就開始提供各種幫助，水屋簡潔温馨，餐食也還可以，服務人員都很熱情。可以看到海龜啊。安排的跳島遊也很好，到島上來接，送回碼頭。接機和送機都安排得很好，去機場安排的有些早1個小時20分鐘到機場了。1:55的飛機，11:20就到了，在機場等吧。

nobody answer the hotel phone and there is no way to reach this hotel accept through Trip. Not user friendly. we have made some wrong booking due to flight schedule issue. have tried to call many times to modify our date of stay but nobody answer our call. finally trip replied we cannot modify the date. this is very bad management as it is no last minute change, at least 5 days before the actual date. we have to scramble to reschedule our flight. very bad experience.

I had a pleasant stay at your resort. The environment was peaceful and relaxing, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

Semporna is an interesting place to visit, with several islands surrounded by coral reefs for snorkeling and diving, more beautiful than many other snorkeling spots worldwide. Staying at this hostel instead of moving to an island resort is a good way to budget. And not only that, the fish market in Semporna is the most incredible one I have seen, seafood like lobsters, large shrimps, crabs so fresh, not even the one at Kota Kinabalu can be compared good as it was too. The DZ hostel lady staff was very helpful and can arrange for island trips at a reasonable price. The dorms are separated into boys and girls, something I truly appreciate. The bathrooms faced the afternoon sun, so they were dried easily and kept clean. Laundry by machine was offered free, a super plus for swimmers. The hostel also offered local Malay snack food for breakfast, and coffee or tea were always available. To be honest, it's a good budget place to stay while splurging on the island tours. It's a bit sad that no cooking is allowed here, even though there was a kitchen. Sad because the seafood mentioned above was so available. The facade of the building is nothing to boast about, and like many places, the external (streets, pavement, eyc) can be a mess. That should not deter visiting this part of the world mainly because the sea in this area is astoundingly replenished with marine life.

+ Great views and relaxing atmosphere Place is still very new and in great condition (outside the negatives) Very friendly staff. Special shoutout to Mandy for going above and beyond to help me with my special request. - Frequent power outages. We spent 1 day and 1 night at the resort. There were probably 6 outages throughout our stay. With one outage lasting maybe 10 minutes. No hot water in our rooms. The staff informed us hot water may be weak in our room, but our room's water was completely cold. The staff will supply hot water upon request, but it came in a bucket and ladle. Overall atmosphere is to be recommended, but the negatives bring it down when you are paying for a luxury experience.

Hotel Review Positive Points: 1. Air-conditioning was very effective and kept the room comfortable throughout the stay. 2. Great window view – beautiful sea and jetty scenery that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. (see my attached picture) 3. Excellent location – conveniently close to eateries and the jetty, making it easy to get around. 4. Reasonably priced in-house food – offers good value for money for guests who prefer to dine in. 5. Complimentary extra bottled water was provided upon request, which was appreciated. 6. Friendly and helpful staff across all departments – from housekeeping, café, and maintenance to the front desk. Everyone was courteous and attentive. 7. Special mention to the chef – a very kind and gentlemanly person. On our first day, we ordered 6 fried eggs for breakfast, assuming they were included. The chef initially didn’t inform us of the RM2 charge per egg and kindly did not charge us for them. When we later tried to order again, he politely informed us about the charge. We truly appreciated his honesty and kind gesture. 8. very nice grilled meat at the roof cafe (5th floor).The promo price is 5 sticks for rm9.9 . worth to eat! --- Areas for Improvement: 1. Limited breakfast buffet selection – mainly local dishes such as chicken, eggs, vegetables, rice, or noodles. While the food was tasty, there were no options like fresh milk, cereal, or egg station. Fruit choices were also limited to just bananas every day. 2. Window leakage during heavy rain – rainwater entered the room. However, the staff responded promptly and mopped the floor immediately. 3. No robe hooks in the bathroom – makes it inconvenient to hang clothes or towels. 4. Shortage of bath towels – clean towels were only available in the late afternoon after laundry was returned. 5. Extra blanket charge – an additional around rm50-60 was required if requesting one more blanket, which felt a bit expensive. 6. Low water pressure in the shower – the water flow was quite weak, making the shower experience less enjoyable. 7. Housekeeping quality needs improvement – there was sand in the room, and although we informed the staff, it was not cleaned properly even after the feedback. Extra Tip for Travellers: There’s no laundry shop in Semporna town, so do remember to bring enough clothes for your stay.

Pleasant overnight escape at Nusa Kuya Resort with a group of four, and we truly made the most of it! From snorkeling in the clear waters to enjoying the buffet, belting out songs at karaoke, and watching the turtles—it was a full, fun itinerary. Every activity felt worth it, and the friendly, accommodating staff made the experience even better. Definitely a memorable short getaway!

I didn’t pay much attention to the hotel’s details because I was out scuba diving every day. This hotel is old, so if you’re looking for a super clean and modern feel, this isn’t the place for you. They provide a good breakfast, and the staff even packed it for me since I had to leave early for diving. The location isn’t far from the main center, and there are plenty of shops nearby, which is convenient if you want to buy snacks or grab a quick meal.
