"Unbeatable location just opposite JR Ashahikawa and directly opposite Aeon. Room lighting is dimmed, and size is rather small with 2 single beds. Central controlled air conditioner, and the window can only be opened a small gap so can be rather stuffy. Great buffet breakfast. Overall a 4/5."

"Very professional hotel and the rooms have a cool layout. I love that the windows actually open so you can get fresh air. The mattresses are very firm (good for your back) but the pillows are kind of weird memory foam blocks, so that was a bit awkward. I put a shirt under one pillow to bring it up to normal height for my neck. They are too low otherwise but stacking two of them is way too much, I would suggest putting a mixture of fluffy normal pillows and these memory foam things.
Otherwise the hotel is pretty great, relaxed atmosphere, right on the main street and very close to two different Lawson kombinis, and a Mister Donut is literally right next door and stays open late. So you're in a great spot. You can do anything at R Hotels. I felt really good energy and the staff were super professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip."

VVieraskäyttäjäWe chose this ryokan for its proximity to Asahikawa Zoo. With a rental car, its location was convenient. The room featured traditional tatami mats and futons for our family of four. The highlight was the in-house ‘onsen’ bath, which we enjoyed without any additional fees. The attentive staff surprised us by clearing the snow off our car after a heavy snowstorm. Senshoen gets my highest recommendation for its service, comfort, and lovely garden.

We had stayed at a Toyoko Inn hotel several years ago and were still impressed by its simple yet modern style.
The cleanliness was outstanding, which made our stay truly relaxing.

CCKW_71The room and bathroom are just like what you’d expect from a typical Japanese hotel—compact, with all the essentials, including a bathtub. The rooftop onsen is quite nice as well. The location is excellent—you can see the hotel as soon as you exit Asahikawa Station.

JjayvernThe hotel definitely needs to improve on their cleanliness.
There are lashes extension found at the bath tub, sink and around the toilet ( should be from the previous guest)upon check in. Some dirty stains near the window as well. The hotel does not provide room cleaning services ( if I'm not mistaken only for guest staying 4 nights and above). We are staying 2 night, so they only give change of towels which they hang outside the door handle in the morning. You have to place ur own trash outside the room door in the morning urself as well.
There is parking available but none of us ( we came with another 2 friends) can park our car as it's only for car height 1.5m below. So we have to park our car at public parking space near hotel that charges 900-1100yen per 24 hours. No proper place for you to stop car and unload your luggage Infront of the hotel as well. It's especially difficult when the road is full with snows as well.
The only good thing is the location. Walking distance to a lot restaurant, konbini, and aeon.

JJanice Lim Mee LanThe hotel has a very immersive experience especially for families with young children. It is themed like the Asahiyama zoo. They also provide free shuttle bus service to the Asahiyama zoo. They have a public bath. Although I did not get to use the facilities, the hotel guests seemed to really enjoy it. It is located near the shopping street and walking distance to the Asahikawa Station. Behind the Asahikawa Station is a beautiful park and you can have lots of instagrammable photos taken there.

VVieraskäyttäjäI had a very comfortable day, as the mattress was comfortable, even though it was not as firm as I'd like it to be. The pillows provided were not supportive enough, so I asked for extra, and the staff brought it to my room quickly without any fuss.
It was good that I could reached my hotel quickly enough after a long day of walking and carrying my heavy shopping bags.
The onsen here is a selling point and you must come daily to soothe all your aches and pain.👍
You will sleep so well that you will salivate.😅

VVieraskäyttäjäHotel Crescent is one of my favorite hotels in Japan. Very professional and nice staff, even the cleaning people make an effort to manage their noise if they know someone is still sleeping in a room, which is above and beyond. The staff at Crescent kept my luggage for a long time when my return trip got delayed which was a huge relief. The lobby gives such a unique atmosphere, it's at once august and stately, like one of the grand art deco hotels of the past era, but it also has a fun little gift shop area and a cafe, so it feels relaxed. Crescent is just a really friendly place where you don't have to worry about anything. Their website explains their ”Kaizen” philosophy, which now is a famous Japanese management philosophy of continuous improvement in each area. It really shows at this hotel. This is the kind of hotel you end up becoming a better person because the staff is so professional and kind. Thank you for a great stay and for being one of my favorite places in Japan :)

Heillä on paljon leikkitilaa, pöytäpelejä, ja aamiaista voidaan ottaa halki tai tuoda huone. Erittäin mukava kodin keitetyt lämmin ruoka, ja erittäin ystävällinen keittiö nainen.
