The location of the resort was great!. Services provided by the staffs was exceptional and in good tome too. Breakfast and dinner was good and commendable. Great nature friendly environment. Morning and evening walks were exceptional with sunrise and sunset beauty captures. Not to forget the birds chirpings and peacocks call in the early hours. Had a very wonderful time! Only lacking was a refrigerator and a mini bar fridge would be great for tourists. Special appreciative note to the young reception girl who welcomed with a drink and a very warming smile! (unfortunately could not recall her name). Thanks Krishna.

Spent 3 days and nights at the property. The property stands as true as is possible to its name as it rests pretty much at the base of the Banasura Hill and has absolutely breathtaking views of both the titular hill and those adjacent (which is the first thing you see as you roll into the property). The entire property appears as though it's an extension of the natural environment it's nestled in, which gives it a really rustic feel. One however would feel pleasantly surprised though as you step into the property, to find it to be extremely tastefully done up, and supremely well appointed with any and all creature comforts that you might need while being forest adjacent. Have to highlight in particular how amazing the meals were (particularly lunches which had traditional Kerala fare). We occupied one of their Earth Rooms which we found to be exceedingly spacious yet cozy. The property has 3 to 4 variants of accommodation that are able to accommodate small and large party sizes alike. We found ourselves scrapping our sightseeing itinerary to hole up within the property itself, given that it sprawls so beautifully and the property itself offers each day guided trails through its tea gardens or view points, or the absolutely brilliant nature trail (which we hiked up and down atleast 3 times a day). This was aided by their ample offerings by way of activities both indoor and outdoor (table tennis, badminton, pool, chess, a reading nook even). In and around around short hikes to more forested parts, cute villages and waterfalls, among others. What made the experience the experience though was the Staff at the place. Most of them are property veterans with around a decade of tenure. They were so exceedingly knowledgeable, warm and gracious in how they hosted us - a big part of the reason why our stay felt so very enjoyable I'd highly recommend the place to any kind of traveller (be it friends, family looking to relax and rejuvenate or those looking at adventuring around). One of my most memorable stays at any place in the past, near or distant and I'm eager to have the chance to reprise the visit in the near future.

My wife and stayed at the Mesta hotel as a Transit stay in Jan 2025, and we were really impressed by the upkeep , service and overall experience we had at the hotel . The hotel is part of the Grand Jubilee group that runs a popular restaurant nearby as well as. The welcome at the hotel ,manager accompanying us to the room and explaining each and everything was really at the level of a five star deluxe hotel . Specially want to mention Mr.Vishnu , front desk manager who was really courteous and gave us great service at checkin . The Room was impeccable and have to commend housekeeping for doing such a great Job . Really impressed by this small town hotel and wish Mesta team all the best!
