Having arrived at st Regis Goa our expectations were high and we were truly looking forward to spending Chinese new year eve. On arrival everything seemed a bit chaotic in the lobby and then I soon found out that they were expecting a wedding and the next day was fully booked because of that. As we got through the day I noticed that the staff were all paying attention mostly to the wedding preparations and not the in house guests. From this hotel I expected a better service to be honest and even the so called special butler assigned to us was responding with delays of almost an hour which is not nice for such a so called high standard hotel. Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay but decided against having dinner at the property because even though I mentioned it is Chinese new year no special do up was done for us so even though I did not expect given that we were in India and they don’t celebrate obviously but since I did mention at check in this would have brought out Regis standards in a big way as they are known for worldwide but no special thing was organized for us. The shower drainage was blocked and I had to unplug the cover just to let the water drain out. This should be checked before guests arrive. Even the towels had this strange odour which only means it was not laundered properly. Otherwise the property is great but they should improve for the standard they portray and the rates they charge. Also another point to note is that while booking through trip.com I booked a better level room and after I paid it was immediately cancelled and refund was provided but strangely when I tried to re-book the price had gone up significantly and this is not a nice thing to do to guests. Now I’m not sure if this was the booking app failure or failure on part of the hotel but notable to mention nonetheless. So I opted for the normal lagoon room instead because I felt cheated and didn’t want to pay more for something that was clearly indicated. Pool was fantastic and room was decent but big mosquito problem on the property. We actually stayed next door the previous night at holiday inn and didn’t notice mosquitos as much as here so beware and get enough repellant. The carpet in the room also needs to be deep cleaned as it was literally black with dirt. Even spider web in the room. Shocking for a Regis hotel. Hats of to the garden cleaning ladies who do a fabulous job and the valet and entrance staff and the guy who gave us a nice welcome and welcome drink. Breakfast was fantastic so speaks volumes of the chefs and staff behind the scenes. Highlight of the hotel no doubt. Best one so far in India!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Colva, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail that this hotel offers. My room was spotless, and the common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and pool, were immaculate. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for guests. 3. **Proximity to the Beach**: One of the best features of this hotel is its closeness to Colva Beach. Just a short walk away, the beach is easily accessible, making it perfect for a morning stroll or a sunset view. The convenience of being so close to the beach added a special touch to my stay. 4. **Comfortable Rooms**: The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and equipped with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the balcony offered a lovely view of the surroundings. It was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. 5. **Dining Options**: The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, both local and international. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide range of options to suit every palate. Overall, my stay at Courtyard by Marriott, Colva, was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and the prime location near the beach makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to both leisure and business travelers and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Got back from Planet Hollywood last week. Location - this is a quite beach with beautiful small grain sand and clean. Many locals in the sea and clean. There are a couple of shacks each side on the hotel beach with beds and drinks and tables. Sunset is beautiful from here. Hotel: On arrival we were greeted, luggage taken to our rooms. We had the luxury pool view room- good amount of space in the bedroom, lovely balcony over looking the pool, bathroom clean. Towels changed daily and cleaned well. If you want anything staff are more than happy to help. Staff are extremely helpful - we had a couple of issues with the room, but turned out to be user errors. We had a maintenance chap in our room within minutes. The food was absolutely divine - eastern and western palates catered for. Chef Veronus came to talk to us every day at breakfast, and also made us some dishes not on the menu - really delightful and exceedingly good! The pool was very quite, but suited us. April is wedding season and there were some weddings on during the day and evening, but this is in a separate part of the complex. We actually enjoyed watching elements from the side lines. The wedding decor was incredible. We could not fault this hotel, we were taken care of so well!

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at Orchard Passaros. Upon arrival at approximately 12:30, we were informed that our booking could not be located. After waiting around 20 minutes, the reservation was eventually found. Unfortunately, the gentleman at reception during this time was unfriendly and appeared quite miserable, which did not create a welcoming first impression. We were offered a complimentary drink while the issue was being resolved, which was appreciated. The gentleman who served us was polite, professional, and very pleasant. We were then shown to our room, which initially appeared to be very nice. However, later that evening we experienced significant issues. The room was unbearably hot, as the air conditioning did not seem to cool the space effectively. Additionally, there was a sensor system whereby any movement in the bed activated the bathroom light and extractor fan. This repeatedly disturbed our sleep. We reported these problems to reception. A maintenance staff member attended and resolved the sensor issue in the bathroom. He also stated that he had lowered the room temperature; however, the room remained extremely hot and uncomfortable. Despite further attempts to fix the issue, there was no improvement. After approximately an hour of ongoing disruption, at 2:00am we felt we had no option but to leave the hotel. The manager’s response at this time was extremely disappointing. He was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly laughed during the conversation, which we found highly unprofessional. Furthermore, the pool area was not as advertised. There were only two sunbeds available, and on one occasion a guest reserved one all day by leaving belongings on it, even when not present. Overall, the facilities and restaurant did not meet the standards described on your website. We are extremely disappointed that our experience did not reflect the expectations set by your online description. I would appreciate your response to these concerns. Yours faithfully,

This resort has the potential to be good as it looks well, has a decent pool area and the rooms are well proportioned. There is just something missing in the fine detail of running a resort. Breakfast was decent but we found dinners disappointing, particularly the risotto which was delivered cold and then seemingly microwaved when we pointed this out. We attended a Sao Joao pool celebration which was a bit disappointing, it supposedly started at 12.30 but decorations were still going up at 1pm. Most disappointing was when we arrived very early due to a night train arriving four hours early but we’re not offered as much as a glass of water and when we asked if our bags could be stored whilst we purchased breakfast we were told no and just to eat poolside. Saying that most other staff we dealt with were friendly.

An absolutely delightful stay. I highly recommend this place to everyone and especially those looking to relax and unwind by the beach. Not many places in India are like this. The facilities and staff are all top notch. Very professional and polite. They took care of all our needs without hesitation. There's a nice garden to walk at night, with direct access to beach and security guards on both exits. The resort had very ample variety of food, with different restaurants to choose from. Though perhaps a bit overpriced compared to equally good restaurants nearby. Overall, I wished we had stayed a little longer but already had flights booked. Definitely will come back when I'm back in Goa.

This is a proper 5 star property. They know how to treat their guests. They decorated the room, and arranged a surprise, everything was special. There was a small blunder, but they made up for it, and sorted everything out, a perfect 5 star experience. Also the attached beach by the hotel… is a different sensory experience to wake up to. Very polite and professional staff, and courteous service. Well done, and thank you

Hotel doesn’t allow visitors, this is ridiculous, official visit will have small team meetings in room for an hour, even friends may come to meet. They don’t have proper place to change clothes, the breakfast for veg is worst. I had to eat poha or up-ma only. Really not good breakfast. It’s already 3 days i left the hotel. How can i take pictures ?

Located at a very quiet surrounding. Helpful staffs. Has lot's of parking space for both two and four wheelers. Room was of decent size with standard amenities. Sleep quality was good. The pool is small but was enjoyable especially with hardly anyone using it. More of a fresh water type pool. We liked the outdoor garden with a swing. Nice place for a quite sitting amidst nature. Breakfast was served in their adjacent property and decent options to fill you. All food items were freshly prepared. Overall good for a short stay.

Всем привет, была в этом отеле. Было очень приятно и тихо. Кормили супер вкусно, всегда были приветливые и пытались помочь со всеми вопросами. Брала полный пансион и ни разу не пожалела. Если требуется - отель всегда может приготовить не остро для гостя. Понимаю, что, наверное, многих пугали отзывы про старый фонд-но мне достался весьма приличный номер)
