The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. Tulin rentoutua jälkeen trekking ja safari matkat ja majoitus on rauhallinen retreat asetettu pohjois-osalle Zanzibar. Rakasti ympäristö ja puutarha on niin kaunis. Valitsin tämän paikan, koska se on sukelluskeskus ja se ei pettynyt. Tiimin Dive Point Zanzibar on ammattilainen ja suhde sukeltajat / mestarit vierailijoihin on 1:2, joka on hyvä. Olen käynyt olkapäivinä, koska saari on menossa alhainen kausi, joten se on suhteellisen hiljaa kaikkialla ja saan nauttia täysi palvelu ja huomio :)

Были в отеле в марте 2026, 3 ночи, понравились чистые номера и spa-, еда прекрасная, итальянская, было очень вкусно, завтраки хорошие, фрукты свежие, чай, кофе, всё есть! На ухоженной территории расположены два бассейна, один в зоне spa- и интересный фонтан с подсветкой, хозяева отеля внимательные, доброжелательные люди, всегда готовы помочь, было по-домашнему комфортно. Единственное, отель находится на второй линии, проход от отеля до моря приходится преодолевать по неудобной каменистой дороге.Несколько раз брали тук-тук и катались от отеля на разные пляжи. Вечером ужинали в отеле, итальянская еда и вино отличные.

The hotel is very nice, it’s very quiet though and doesn’t seem to be very popular among travels choice here. The room was spacious, and clean, the staff were very friendly. The WiFi was great. The breakfast was good. A few options for cereals and fruit , coffee and tea as well as options for cooked meals. The location isn’t bad but also not amazing. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not the main beach, there’s a lot of seaweed but it’s only a 10 minute walk along the beach to the nicer beach area. 20 minutes of walking along the roads. Considering the price for what you get I think it’s overpriced but in all honestly so are all the other hotels on the island.

Heti kun astuimme vastaanottoon, kun tarkistimme, meillä oli muistokkain oleskelu. Koko loma oli kauniisti esitetty, puhdas, ylellinen ja rauhallinen. Varasimme osittain meren näkötilan ja se oli upea kaikista pienistä yksityiskohdista sisällä yksityisveranda ulkopuolella, täydellinen rentoutua lukemalla kirjaa tai katsella veneitä kulkevat merellä. Loputon uima-allas oli lounaalla, aamiainen ja illallinen puoli buffet oli suuri valinta ja Jetty ravintola oli myös mukava lounaalle. Palvelu oli poikkeuksellinen, kaikki olivat ystävällisiä, apua ja meni ylä- ja kaukana varmistaa, että meillä oli ihana kokemus. Suosittelemme Essque Zalu Zanzibar ystäviämme ja perheemme ja odotamme vierailua uudelleen!

This hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. People who work there are ok. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job. The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us. The hotel is ok so you can go there and rest for even a few weeks but the area is dangerous so stay safe in the hotel. Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him.

Das My Blue Hotel ist sehr schön und sauber. Der Pool ist das absolute Highlight. Aus dem Pool aus kann man den Sonnenuntergang super genießen. Am Strand gab es immer viele freie Liegen, so dass man zu jeder Uhrzeit eine Platzauswahl hatte. Das Personal hat täglich Kokosnüsse am Strand verteilt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Essen lecker und Frisch, Abendprogramm war abwechslungsreich, ein sehr sauberes Hotel. Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen. Die Lage sowie der Strand sind super. Im Hotel werden Massagen angeboten zu einem guten Preis. Wir haben den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Internet war allerdings meist schlecht. Im Zimmer kaum Empfang. Dies hat Verbesserungspotenzial.

Amazing stay! I wished I had found this place before my previous booking. A mistake in my arrival date forced me to look around the area to find another hotel when I found Amaan hotels. Best choice ever! Great service, location right by the beach, breakfast buffet was a feast and the rooms have all you need after a day by the beach and pool. I would definitely choose this hotel again!! Perfect for all types of travellers!!

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms. In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎
