"My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights for valentines. We very much enjoyed our stay overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. When leaving we were able to leave our luggage for just £1 a suitcase which was very convenient. For the price I thought the food was good quality, however if you are looking for more of a cooked breakfast this isn’t the place. The location was very accessible and we were able to walk to everywhere easily. However it did get very noisy from about 5 in the morning."

"It is a very beautiful hotel with lots of history. I stayed on the 7th floor and had a view across the square. "Park plaza is an exceptional service provider, excellent amenities, cleanliness is top-notch, its sound proofed, no noise, its a relaxing ambient, the chef and menu is delicious, ordered room service and it was very palatable and delicious!! Location is prime to the center and my event. Staff were amazing. Their contact system is top notch too. Loved it and had a beautiful one night. Hope to return again."

"Unusual venue for regular business traveller. Room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large but not the greatest of showers. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of amenities due its dual purpose outlook. However, the location close to Headingley offers plenty of places to eat and drink. There’s even a Wetherspoons within 200 yards. Nice touch from the hotel was a breakfast package in a bag, as I was leaving before breakfast was served. Ideal for someone looking for a peaceful nights stay."

After the event I attended I came back to my room and was very upset to be met by very loud music blaring into the room from outside , this continued all night and stopped at 5am . I managed 1hours sleep , I was mortified . This ruined my experience.

For example, leaky shower pipe, worn out shower, fridge in room was great but it didn't really make my drinks cold enough, the window was a bit small making the room not lit up enough during the day, even though the tv had WiFi it wasn't a smart tv and I couldn't connect my phone to it. A bit disappointing because it was a large tv lol
To make things worse, I was trying to order food at the bar and the person asked me to sit down so that he can take my order from the table. I did that, and he never came back even though he was serving customers seated around me. It was awkward and I was almost amused by it. When I left, he asked me ”no food order?” Lol . Anyway, overall it was moderately pleasant would give it 3 out 5

VVieraskäyttäjäAs a first time solo female traveller, I was apprehensive at first. However, I need not to have been. Staff, were amazingly friendly, kind and helpful. At breakfast, I sat alone and a member of staff came over and asked if I was OK, and did I need anything. I just thought it was a lovely personal touch, especially nowadays, where good customer services seems to be a hard ask. This hotel is definitely recommended, and I will definitely be going back next time I am in the city. Keep up the good work!!

But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.

The room was fine, the bed was very comfortable and I got a good sleep here, I couldn't hear too much sound from outside the room. Amenities were relatively basic, some tea (Yorkshire tea!) and coffee, the shower had body wash and shampoo provided but no minis. Front desk were always very friendly and helpful, I was checked in and out quickly. No issues, would recommend to anyone visiting Leeds!

YYan15Nice location close to city center. Unfortunately we weren’t able to heat up/microwave our daughter’s food who have food allergies unlike when we stayed in Leonardo Hotel Birmingham where they accommodated our request. We had a nice stay though, enjoyed roaming around Leeds and the hotel is close to the train station as well so it was very convenient.

HHeart LionThe Met Hotel offers the most convenient location in Leeds, just a 4-minute walk from the train station. Additionally, the warm hospitality I received made my stay truly unforgettable. The hotel’s interior is beautifully decorated in Victorian style, adding to its charm.

SSekani 27The hotel was beautiful, with lovely grounds perfect for a run or a walk. It also offered free parking, which was really good. The service was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find an iron and ironing board because we needed to iron some of our outfits.
Overall, it was a great stay, and we would happily return.
