"The hotel is fairly nice although it is let down with the lack of aircon which I understand has been broken for some time. I was offered to move rooms from one swelteringly hot room to another only to be sandwiched in between two rooms who were obviously having a party. I was offered to move back to my original room which I finally got some sleep. A nice hotel, let down by the lack of air conditioning."

"Rooms are extremely light and clean, sturdy beds. On the hotels official website, it states the rooms air air conditioned, however, this is not true. When we asked the guy on reception, he tried to convince me that I’ve read it wrong and tried to make me out as being stupid, but it clearly states the rooms have aircon but only the reception/lobby has air con. The room was very comfortable, could do with having some netting as looks directly into the offices across the way, unless you close the curtains."

"Me and my family had a wonderful stay. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a nice experience staying here."

"Excellent location, very close to railway station which was key for us. Great price and trip was refundable until 13.00 on the day which was very useful as Storm Goretti was due to hit. Good restaurant attached to hotel which is only available to hotel guests, great meal for reasonable price. Comfy beds (twin) so everything you need for a practical one night stay."

"The hotel was in a great spot to visit Keele umiversity and reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The room was clean, a good size and very quiet. A nice touch to have bottles of water provided in the fridge too! Breakfast was cooked to order with a good choice of options every day. I would recommend this hotel to friends and definitely stay here again when visiting the area!"

"Management appears to be very poor, No one answering phone calls in reception for most of Friday morning Jan 30th,and long wait on Saturday 31st. Arrived on Saturday 31st at 10-30 pm. Bedroom was freezing, no heating on and windows wide open!! Had to get the night portef tofind us another room. The booking for this had been made some weeks beforehand. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference.
