"Wonderful stay at Uechao Hotel, China
We stayed at Uechao Hotel and were absolutely delighted with our experience. This hotel is a great choice both for a relaxing vacation and for an active, experience-filled stay.
The room was very comfortable and clean, featuring a spacious and cozy king-size bed. Housekeeping was done regularly and thoroughly, and everything was well maintained. Welcome fruits and the minibar were a nice and thoughtful touch.
Breakfast deserves special mention: it was varied, tasty, and offered a wide selection of both Chinese and international dishes. Having breakfast included for two guests was very convenient.
A special highlight was the surfing pass. The organization was excellent, with the option to choose wave levels suitable for beginners, intermediate, or advanced surfers. This unique feature really sets the hotel apart and makes the stay truly memorable.
The staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Even with a language barrier, they made every effort to ensure our comfort, which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, Uechao Hotel offers excellent value for money, a high level of service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We would be happy to return and can confidently recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to China."

"Nice rooms facing the sea and lighthouse, there was a staircase that also led to a private beach. Unfortunately, the water supply had issues, but the hotel staff promptly helped to arrange us to be able to shower elsewhere. While slightly inconvenient, it made for memorable experience buggy-ing down a main road."

"My ocean view room was good sized and very clean. The frosted glass between the shower and the bedroom was a little weird, because you could make out someone else's body shape behind it. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, although the quality of cooked food was just okay. Clientele is almost entirely Chinese, and this is reflected in the 2 main restaurants being Chinese cuisine, and hotel notices being in Chinese without English. We tried both restaurants - Features is way more accomplished than Five Senses, and their service was also better. The two identical gyms are spacious and the equipment felt new. Staff tries to please, although the training and quality is not at international 5-star level. I wish the butler and front desk were more knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the vicinity. Shimei beach in the Hainan winter is perfect for lounging around in, and for surfing. Signs everywhere warning about undercurrents, and consequently no one swims in the sea."

"Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities.
Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly.
Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory.
I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort.
***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think.
I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one.
All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

If you’re traveling with a baby or young child, I highly recommend booking a family room. The room is spacious, comfortable, and very family-friendly. We originally booked a room with one bed, but the owner kindly upgraded us for free to a family room, which was a wonderful surprise.
The location is excellent. While it’s not within walking distance to the beach, the ocean view is visible at a glance, and the beach itself is very close. Transportation is extremely convenient — the homestay provides a small shuttle, and all you need to do is send a message in the WeChat group. The staff are always quick to respond and ready to take you wherever you want to go.
Since we were traveling with a child, we appreciated that the homestay is located slightly away from the bar street. It was the perfect balance — peaceful and quiet at night, without any noise disturbance.
The nighttime atmosphere is especially charming — calm, romantic, and truly relaxing.
Also, don’t forget to be kind and take care of XiangShu! The cutest puppy from the homestay!

Gift Seaview Homestay 真的可以说是日月湾数一数二的好民宿，风景如画，让人一住就爱上。
如果是带宝宝或小朋友出行，强烈建议订家庭房。房间空间很大，住起来非常舒适。我们原本只订了一间一张床的房型，老板非常贴心，直接免费帮我们升级到了家庭房，真的很惊喜，也很感动。
民宿的地理位置很好。虽然不是步行就能到海边，但站在民宿就能一眼看到大海，而且实际距离海边也非常近。出行完全不用担心，民宿有接送小车，微信群里说一声，小哥小妹马上就到，想去哪都很方便。
因为带着孩子，民宿位置离酒吧一条街稍微远一点，反而刚刚好。晚上非常安静，不会被吵到，睡眠质量很好。
夜晚的景色尤其迷人，安静中带着浪漫，特别适合放松心情、慢慢享受度假的感觉。
千万不要忘记好好对待享墅（狗狗）！
明年一定还会再来住这里！"

She is professional because she treats the guests equally and not the difference of room types. Also as the repeat guest, the feelings she gave us more like friends, this made me feel a sense of belongling. 還要給客服小帥哥點贊！人很熱情大方！推薦的周邊餐飲很不錯，很實在，好吃就是好吃，不好吃就是不好吃。一路上有什麼可以玩的項目也介紹的很到位，不然真看不出來有一塊可以玩槳板😁
民宿位置真的很nice，離海邊不遠，民宿又提供遊覽車接送，海邊很多酒吧很吵，民宿所在的村子裏就很安靜👍🏻下次一定還會來多住幾天，因為這次想看的狗狗不在被送去學校了🤪

WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

VVieraskäyttäjäI absolutely loved my stay here! I was upgraded to a lovely super big room overlooking the pool garden! It really had everything, and I mean everything. A big comfortable bed, a couch with a projector and a TV (I didn't use either, but they were there), a fridge filled with water bottles and a ton of amenities (even mouthwash - bigger hotel chains didn't even offer that). The shower and toilet are separated, so no wet floor either. Nice balcony. There was no smoke smell whatsoever and smoking is forbidden in all rooms.
The whole team was super nice! There's a shuttle to the beach, that is really convenient (you can message them up to 10 p.m. and they come pick you up). 艾伦even went to show me some food options in the village and later picked me up from there. 谢谢艾伦! There was also a delicious breakfast. And the pool is perfect for a quick swim :) The whole vibe of the house was nice and I would definitely stay again.

TTanja12345I had the best time at the Goodtiming. The location is directly in the village with so many options for food, drinks and shops. I just stayed for two nights but I enjoyed it so much!
Moreover the room was outstanding! The view is extremely beautiful and it was enormous. Also the service was perfect! They were so kind and always tried to help with everything! They also have an outdoor gym area as well as washing machines and dryer. Also the pool looks soo great!
I would totally recommend to stay here if you are searching for an hotel. You can also easily rent a scooter next door and even if you can’t speak Chinese they’ll make it work for you. They also offer a shuttle service!
All in all I will definitely come back here! I had an amazing time!

I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, I’m already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city.
While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light.
The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well.
What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient.
One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge.
The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature.

The staff were professional and considerate, handling check-in efficiently and answering all my questions with great patience, making me feel right at home. They even went extra mile to pick us at the ShenZhou Station which is approximately 3-4mins away from the hotel.
The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure.
The location was also ideal, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore or shop. The hotel also offers leisure facilities like a swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out.
Every moment spent at Footprint Homestay was comfortable and enjoyable, making it an excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

VVieraskäyttäjä酒店的地理位置還不錯，出門就是海灘，周圍也有一些餐廳和便利店。房間不是面朝大海，基本沒有聽到酒吧的聲音，房間也會主動備好耳塞。
之前去過上海的花間堂，説實話這次的體驗有些不在自己的期待之內。抵達之前就收到酒店的提示，花間泊在景區裏面，因此自駕需要提前報備車牌號。打車的話，酒店是説提前五分鐘告知他們，他們會派人來接。但是當我快要抵達時，致電給酒店幾次，電話沒有被接通，衹能自己拖着行李箱走進去。離店時也是剛好碰到另外一組客人要離開，才知道酒店提供休閑車接送到景區門口。
歡迎水果可能是錯過了，並沒有收到。原本在前一天預約了海娜手繪活動，但去到當天被臨時告知老師請假了。雖然也得以自己嘗試手繪，但希望類似的事情可以處理得更好一些，比如能早點通知客人，好讓客人可以早點調整行程。浴室的水温不是很穩定，但問題不大。

The hosts Cicy and Jerry welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel right at home, the room was in pristine condition and felt very personalised and inviting. The place itself was nothing short of superb, but the real highlight was the hospitality offered by the hosts Cicy and Jerry. They knew I was staying only for one day, so they planned a full 1 day itinerary for my time here. I was given suggestions on activities in the surrounding area, and I was driven around by them to some authentic beatiful locations such as a coffee plantation and local restaurant. They made me feel like I was home away from home, even in a country that is so diffferent to my own (England).
