The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

I was treated like royalty from the moment I arrived for my 4 night stay. Requested a much earlier check in with no problem & no extra cost. Was offered a free upgrade to an incredible much larger apartment with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Very comfortable bed & pillows. The housekeeping staff cleaned every day & left fresh water & fruit. The breakfast selection is huge with an 'egg station' to have your eggs cooked just how you like. I ordered dinner to my room in the evening & the food & service was impeccable. The free Yoga & Tai Chi Classes are an extra bonus & I got the chance to kayak on the Lagoon for 2 hours which is also free. If I needed help with anything I just had to message & was replied to immediately. I also requested a later check out & that was done with no problem. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, if only all hotel staff were like this! The only flaw at the Resort is the Bird Room. I didn't know birds would be in cages & unable to fly properly. This was upsetting & I can imagine may put some people off from booking. It doesn't make sense to cage birds when you are surrounded by them at the Resort. Apart from that aspect I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay & thank everyone who made it such a memorable experience.

It was a very pleasant stay! The staff is super nice and helpful, they speak really good English so it’s super easy to communicate. The room itself is spacious, and the balcony is nice. The breakfast is not so big but everything that I tried was super good! About the location, it was super close to a lot of restaurants, and bars which was nice.

Phòng rất sạch sẽ. Chủ nhà thân thiện và rất chu đáo. Vị trí ở trong ngõ nên sẽ không có chỗ đỗ xe ô tô, xung quanh khu vực rất ít bãi đỗ xe. Hài lòng với giá phòng và chất lượng dịch vụ. Đề xuất cho những người đi công tác ngắn ngày.

🌿 A peaceful and unforgettable stay at Pilgrimage Village I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world. The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed. My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind. Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler. Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers. And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and great service.

Hands down, they have one of the best breakfast spread! There is a good mix of continental and local dishes and plenty of tropical fresh fruits. What I love most is the 2-3 different types of soup noodles they have on rotation daily. We even received a complimentary dinner for 4 pax and the food was very delicious, and service was faultless. The hotel, though not shiny and modern like most are today, it is a very well maintained property. The rooms are very lovely and spacious. We had 2 connecting room and one of it was extremely spacious with a lounging area, very suitable as we’re traveling with kids. The room was spotless and so was the common area of the hotel. The a/c - wow! The only comment I have is the small pool which was really more for dipping than swimming. Lots of cafes and eateries within walking distance and easy to grab back and forth. I have no doubt I’d stay in this hotel again if I’m back in Hue. Big kudos to the team, they truly understand the hospitality business.

We had a wonderful vacation in Banyan Tree. The service here is really on another level compared to other 5 star hotels as you are assigned a Villa host who takes care of you during your stay. Our host, Man, was very friendly and very helpful, going as far as to go to some shops to get our daughter some writing supplies so she could do her homework. The villa is nice and it was great to lounge in our private pool. The beach is also private and quiet. The hotel facilities are shared with the sister hotel Angsana which you can travel between with the buggy. The hotels kids club is a little far, closer to the golf so you cannot walk there however the kids club staff are very good with kids. Overall we had a great stay.

Minulla oli suurin majoitus Angsana Resort, ja en voi suositella sitä tarpeeksi. Lintu itse on hämmästyttävä, kauniilla ympäristöllä, mukavilla huoneilla ja erinomaiset tilat, mutta mikä todella tekee siitä erityistä on ihmiset, jotka siellä työskentelevät. Kun saapuin, olin tervetullut todellisella lämpöllä ja vieraanvaraisuudella. Henkilöstö meni ylä- ja kauemmaksi kaikissa vuorovaikutuksissa – aina hymyilevä, aina ystävällinen, ja aina valmis auttamaan mitä tahansa tarvitsin. Olipa se vastaanottossa, ravintoloissa, uima-allas, tai jopa talonhoitoryhmässä, kaikki osoittivat niin huolellista ja huomiota yksityiskohtiin, että tunsin itseni täysin kotona. Mitä vaikutti eniten oli se, että se ei ollut vain hyvä palvelu – se tuntui rehellisesti. Tiimi todella ylpeä tehdä vieraita onnellisia, ja voit tuntea, että pienissä asioissa, kuten muistaa mieltymykset, tervehtiä sinua nimellä, tai tarkistaa, jos nautitte oleskelu. Se on tämä ystävyys- ja ammattitaitotaso, joka luo tällaisen lämmin ilmapiiri resortissa. Angsana Resort ei ole vain rentoutumispaikka, se on paikka, jossa todella huolehdit. Olemme vain yhden yön Hue. Hotelli oli fantastinen, erittäin mukava uima-allas. Erittäin puhtaat ja viihtyisä huoneita ja erinomainen aamiainen. Suosittelen todella hotellia. Myös heillä on mukava ravintola juuri hotellin vieressä, jos etsit hyvää vietnamilaista ruokaa. Lisäpiste: Unohdin muutamia asioita hotellissa ja he onnistuivat lähettämään sen minulle Hue-Da Nang alle 24h. Tämä ei liity hotellihuoneistoihin, mutta arvostan todella mitä he tekivät.

Perfect location to explore the city and right next to the river. Good breakfast and comfortable beds. Has aged a lot, which is part of the appeal but does hinder its ability to score high for amenities. Staff were very good and helped me when needed. Would stay again and would recommend to others for staying in a historic hotel.
