"🌿 A peaceful and unforgettable stay at Pilgrimage Village
I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world.
The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed.
My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind.
Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler.
Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers.
And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done.
I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue.

"Hands down, they have one of the best breakfast spread! There is a good mix of continental and local dishes and plenty of tropical fresh fruits. What I love most is the 2-3 different types of soup noodles they have on rotation daily. We even received a complimentary dinner for 4 pax and the food was very delicious, and service was faultless.
The hotel, though not shiny and modern like most are today, it is a very well maintained property. The rooms are very lovely and spacious. We had 2 connecting room and one of it was extremely spacious with a lounging area, very suitable as we’re traveling with kids. The room was spotless and so was the common area of the hotel. The a/c - wow!
The only comment I have is the small pool which was really more for dipping than swimming.
Lots of cafes and eateries within walking distance and easy to grab back and forth.
I have no doubt I’d stay in this hotel again if I’m back in Hue. Big kudos to the team, they truly understand the hospitality business."

"The location and the service is good but the room is old. The gym also is small and the equipment is old, the swimming pool also small and looks dirty.
We stayed 5 days but the breakfast provide the same for 5 days, easy to get boring.
The noise cancelling in the room is bad, i can hear from outside clearly.
Everything in the room is suck especially the bathroom.
However, highly for the service and staffs there."

"It was a very pleasant stay! The staff is super nice and helpful, they speak really good English so it’s super easy to communicate. The room itself is spacious, and the balcony is nice. The breakfast is not so big but everything that I tried was super good! About the location, it was super close to a lot of restaurants, and bars which was nice."

"I stayed in a single room, which was very clean and had a hot shower. Overall, it was a great stay. Lee was incredibly helpful and provided useful advice on anything I needed. The rest of the staff were also polite and accommodating. One staff member even brought my bicycle inside the hotel at night for added security, which I really appreciated.
The hotel offers a range of services. I used the laundry service, which was excellent, and booked a shuttle bus to Hoi An, and everything went smoothly.
The only downside was the noise. Renovations were underway, and work started at 7:30 AM, even on Sundays, which was quite disruptive. Hopefully, the renovations will be completed soon."

"Breakfast spread wasn't great for me as I have specific diet needs, but overall enough variety for the average traveller. The yoghurt was absolutely the best I'd ever had tho. Perfectly smooth, not tart, and they had an unsweetened version. The room was neat, clean, housekeeping was efficient - one of the days they ran the bell and we were just on the way out so we said they could go ahead and make up the room anyway. In and out in no time flat!
The concierge service was impeccable. We were treated like royalty. It wasn't just the usual 'standard' politeness, but a friendliness that was so heartwarming I really felt special. We'll definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Hue."

"This has been our favourite place to stay in Vietnam. The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. They have 2 restaurants, one for western food and one for Vietnamese cuisine. We ate all our meals in the Vietnamese restaurant & the food was the best we have had. The building is 107 years and was refurbished 8 years ago. It is pristine. I could not recommend any hotel more highly than this. Absolutely beautiful."

The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities).
The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink!
The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally).
During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know!
The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked.
On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”.
We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave.
The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive.
When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

HHughie VuDefinitely the best experience we've had for a while. Scenery is great, services are top notch, the food is AMAZING. They started out as a restaurant, and now expanded into a resort, so that kinda explains. There're now 2 or 3 restaurants in the resort, serving both local and western cuisines. Breakfasts are free and can be ordered unlimitedly.
We usually have heavy breakfasts in the place, then went out to explore the city and the street foods outside. On the last night, we had our dinner at one of their Vietnamese restaurant. And while it's obviously more expensive than the street foods, the portion and tastiness is also at another level.
The staffs are very very nice. While check-in, we handed them our passports and that's probably how they noticed that one of our birthday is during the stay. So they gave us a bunch of vouchers/discount for their services. Even hand made a birthday cake as a gift!
Wish we stayed longer, and 10/10 would visit again.

JJenPI was treated like royalty from the moment I arrived for my 4 night stay. Requested a much earlier check in with no problem & no extra cost. Was offered a free upgrade to an incredible much larger apartment with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Very comfortable bed & pillows.
The housekeeping staff cleaned every day & left fresh water & fruit. The breakfast selection is huge with an 'egg station' to have your eggs cooked just how you like. I ordered dinner to my room in the evening & the food & service was impeccable. The free Yoga & Tai Chi Classes are an extra bonus & I got the chance to kayak on the Lagoon for 2 hours which is also free. If I needed help with anything I just had to message & was replied to immediately. I also requested a later check out & that was done with no problem. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, if only all hotel staff were like this!
The only flaw at the Resort is the Bird Room. I didn't know birds would be in cages & unable to fly properly. This was upsetting & I can imagine may put some people off from booking. It doesn't make sense to cage birds when you are surrounded by them at the Resort. Apart from that aspect I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay & thank everyone who made it such a memorable experience.

RRambo SHue Melia Vinpearl is a splendid first class hotel offering tourists and visitors a outstanding comfort and a touch of luxury. The front of house staff were very helpful and attentive. Very friendly and approachable.
We had dinner in the Alma restaurant on the 33rd floor and the views are breathtaking. The decor and ambience so warm and relaxing and inviting. Had a first dinner and service was great.
Breakfast options and quality of food is brilliant. Excellent coffee options, freshly made omlettes, pancakes and much more. The are very helpful and catered to all our needs. We wree greeted warmly and welcomed wherever we went in the hotel. The staff are all amazing.
Having stayed in many different hotels in different cities across Vietnam and Asia I can honestly say this has been one of the best experiences 🙌🏽.

I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine.
If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did.

The service here is really on another level compared to other 5 star hotels as you are assigned a Villa host who takes care of you during your stay. Our host, Man, was very friendly and very helpful, going as far as to go to some shops to get our daughter some writing supplies so she could do her homework.
The villa is nice and it was great to lounge in our private pool. The beach is also private and quiet. The hotel facilities are shared with the sister hotel Angsana which you can travel between with the buggy. The hotels kids club is a little far, closer to the golf so you cannot walk there however the kids club staff are very good with kids. Overall we had a great stay.

AAhmed yacineMinulla oli suurin majoitus Angsana Resort, ja en voi suositella sitä tarpeeksi. Lintu itse on hämmästyttävä, kauniilla ympäristöllä, mukavilla huoneilla ja erinomaiset tilat, mutta mikä todella tekee siitä erityistä on ihmiset, jotka siellä työskentelevät.
Kun saapuin, olin tervetullut todellisella lämpöllä ja vieraanvaraisuudella. Henkilöstö meni ylä- ja kauemmaksi kaikissa vuorovaikutuksissa – aina hymyilevä, aina ystävällinen, ja aina valmis auttamaan mitä tahansa tarvitsin. Olipa se vastaanottossa, ravintoloissa, uima-allas, tai jopa talonhoitoryhmässä, kaikki osoittivat niin huolellista ja huomiota yksityiskohtiin, että tunsin itseni täysin kotona.
Mitä vaikutti eniten oli se, että se ei ollut vain hyvä palvelu – se tuntui rehellisesti. Tiimi todella ylpeä tehdä vieraita onnellisia, ja voit tuntea, että pienissä asioissa, kuten muistaa mieltymykset, tervehtiä sinua nimellä, tai tarkistaa, jos nautitte oleskelu. Se on tämä ystävyys- ja ammattitaitotaso, joka luo tällaisen lämmin ilmapiiri resortissa.
Angsana Resort ei ole vain rentoutumispaikka, se on paikka, jossa todella huolehdit. Kiitos kaikille ihanille henkilökunnalle, että minun oleskeluun unohdtamaton – Olen varmasti palaamassa ja suosittelemaan tätä lomapaikkaa kaikille, jotka tiedän.

The location was in the middle of the touristy area so it can be kinda loud around.
We had a bad experience with doing laundry in the place though, we're backpacking and going around Vietnam on our motorcycle, and we needed to have almost all of our stuff washed as we've been on the road for a while, the rate was 80k for 5kg, we sent in 5.4 kg and got charged 100k, while getting dressed for adventure next morning we found out that all clothes that had a stain on them had the same exact stains and even more stains from detergent (one of the jackets had a sticker on it, and when we got it back it still had the sticker so idk if it was even washed), we sent them back again, got them back later and they were still very unclean and had the same stains on them, I talked to the staff but my issue was not resolved and I had to do laundry again in the next city.
It was kinda wasteful for our time and money tbh, but otherwise the place was nice.

JJFOExtremely central location, diagonally opposite Chu Van An, the hub of downtown Hué with all the restaurants, shops and pubs. Hotel is dated but clean and everything still functions. You need to go for a riverside room which has a good view and less noise at night. In the city facing rooms you will enjoy thumping music until 2am.
Walls are slightly thin so noisy neighbors will bother you.
Very delicious and many choices for breakfast.

AArnau CasadevallOlemme vain yhden yön Hue. Hotelli oli fantastinen, erittäin mukava uima-allas. Erittäin puhtaat ja viihtyisä huoneita ja erinomainen aamiainen. Suosittelen todella hotellia. Myös heillä on mukava ravintola juuri hotellin vieressä, jos etsit hyvää vietnamilaista ruokaa.
Lisäpiste: Unohdin muutamia asioita hotellissa ja he onnistuivat lähettämään sen minulle Hue-Da Nang alle 24h. Tämä ei liity hotellihuoneistoihin, mutta arvostan todella mitä he tekivät.
