We really enjoyed our stay at Classyc Hotel! Best thing was all the staff - everyone was so friendly, helpful and smiling all the time! We were welcomed with drinks and snacks on our arrival, got brought up to our room, and every time we go out and come back, they will open the door for us and greet us! Room was comfortable with everything we need - the only thing I would change is having slippers instead of thongs, but that's our preference only. Breakfast was amazing, it had great selection of choices including local food and coffee, all the staff again were so attentive and friendly! On departure we were gifted with a cute Vietnam souvenir which was a lovely touch! Thank you to all the staff members during our stay, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Hanoi!

Stands out for its service from the check-in (much needed cold towel and drink on a hot day) to the meals (passionate sharing of Vietnamese delicacies) to the check-out (take home souvenir). The hotel spa is convenient, the restaurant Mia served delicious food, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful when we needed some medical assistance. Great location! Room was a bit dated and in need of touch-ups, and not sure if they have an eco-friendly policy on bedsheets change because mine didn't look like it was changed.

We stayed at hotel chateau de hanoi for 2 nights and overall, it was an under-average experience. For its price (pre-discount and considering we were in Vietnam) it might not be that worth it. We booked the hotel because of its high-rated reviews and its branding as a 5 star boutique hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and the staff was friendly. We arrived hanoi quite early, so we asked if we could do an early check-in. We were informed by the staff that an early check-in was not impossible, but there was an extra charge. It was however totally understandable that the hotel has their arrangements so we went along with the regular check-in time, but the staff quite passive aggressively told us that they informed us on WhatsApp— we were on a flight and later on a Grab to the hotel so we were unable to read the message entirely. I would expect a 5-star service to be more understanding. To be very honest, I would doubt if the hotel qualifies to be categorized into a 5-star hotel. Of course, the hotel provides customers with all the necessary amenities like toothbrush and shaving kits, but the hotel room didn’t have a window and lighting was insufficient. There was a bathtub, but there was no proper standing shower and it was just a shower head next to the toilet without curtains or doors. The twin bed was extremely small and too easy to be moved around (in a sense that if I wanted to sit at the edge of bed, the mattress would slide to that side). Hygiene was fine but some areas such as the wall and the bathing area could be improved. We ran out of tissue paper in the room as well but after housekeeping the box was still empty and not replaced with a new box of tissue. Soundproofing at the hotel was not solid since we could constantly hear noises from next door during midnight. In our booking package free breakfast was included, so we checked it out in the morning. A small buffet was provided, but the plates and utensils had oil on them. There was a set menu, but the scrambled eggs were not up to par and the pho was okay. Considering the hotel brands itself as a 5-star hotel, I would expect better hygiene and quality check. Location-wise, the hotel is located at the heart of Old Quarter. It is convenient but this also means traffic can get very hectic nearby. Moreover we realized the staff was getting less and less friendly as we reached the end of our stay. It would be nice if their attitude and service could be more consistent, again, given it is a 5-star hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. There was handwritten message in the room upon check in. The staff was very kind and explained in details about the hotel services. The room was very clean and shower amenities were also nice. Shampoo and conditioner were both good quality, my hair was very smooth and smelled very nice too (body shampoo was also available) We had dinner at hotel restaurant since we were tired from train ride back from Ninh Binh. Hotel offered VND300K discount for in house guest at their restaurant so we used this benefit. With the quality of the food and cost, it really worth it and we were so happy that we tried the hotel restaurant for dinner (it’s expensive if you compare with outside local places but it a lot worth it) Breakfast was also very nice! A lot of choice and I really loved their chicken pho. After the breakfast, restaurant hostess asked to make sure our stay is ok while we were waiting for the lift. They offered free manecure to in house guest, it was color only (no art and design) but I got gel nail for free and really enjoyed this service. Also tried hotel SPA. They offered 25% off between 1-4pm so that I enjoyed 90min treatment and it was heaven :) One more thing about this hotel, the bed and pillow were so nice and I didn’t want to go out from the bed. This was the best bed and pillow I experienced and had very nice sleep. I felt the quality of the sleep is a lot better, really could feel the difference. This hotel staff education is amazing. All star was very kind and friendly. The location is very near to the train street and also hangda market. I will stay here again if I go to Hanoi in the future

Excellent customer service from the staff. The location was prime and close to everything. Two minute walk away from the lake.  I had book for the deluxe room for the first two days they put me in a smaller room and then they said they were gonna upgrade me. Not sure if it was an upgrade or downgrade. The photos on the website showed that it was a stand in shower but the first two days I had a tub shower. Shower had a tiny bit of mold but this is nitpicking.  Other than the shower issue, everything went well. The staff is ultra friendly. Very nice, care about you. They know you by name and room number so it shows that they’re very tentative . I definitely would recommend this hotel to anybody.  On the last note, the hotel that offered to book me a taxi to the airport, initially they quoted me 400,000 but I said grab was cheaper and then they quoted me 230,000 with discount. I couldn’t help me disappointed that I got quoted at the higher price first instead of just automatically giving me the discount. It would’ve definitely gave me a better impression.  I’m not sure if it was the language barrier and they did offer the discount, because I’m from South Vietnam and the dialect is different in the north. I just hope I’m wrong.

The hotel location is very perfect, and easy to go to anywhere in old quarter. I like stay in here cause easy to go to pub, eating place, spa, and so many shop and eateries in here. But the very important thing is cindy because she is friendly and care to us and to the people stay in here and every morning she come to breakfast area and coming to our table too in the breakfast time and asking what we need for breakfast and anything we need for breakfast and in the hotel and chit chat with us. Before we going to airport and she give us 2 gift of this coffee. All the staff in this hotel very help and friendly and room boy helps us to bring our luggage to lobby hotel. Only 1 things this hotel need to improve is the gym, cause the gym don't have many equipment for doing the gym. Everything is perfect, keep going with your service. We will come back again to this hotel when we come to hanoi again. Thanks you all staff and cindy and this hotel splendid premium hotel. 👍👍👍

位置位於還劍湖附近，出入方便。酒店服務真的要大讚，我們半夜抵達，怕酒店不清楚提前打電話通知過。去到半夜一點半，酒店前台馬上出來為我們開門提行李。每次從外面回來都會有人問是否需要解暑的飲品，很貼心。 房間衞生還不錯，空間也足夠大。酒店早餐品種不多但出品很好，pho很棒，水果也很新鮮。

A stay brushed in gold — beautiful, with a few areas to refine
. Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake is certainly visually striking. The hotel is incredibly photogenic, and while the overall experience was lovely in many ways, it leaned more towards being aesthetically impressive than feeling like a seamless 5-star stay. 📍 Location 
The location is quieter and less central than the Old Quarter, which is worth considering if you enjoy being close to major attractions. That said, the lakeside setting created a calm, peaceful atmosphere that we really appreciated. ✨ Highlights 
The personalised service from the front desk and door staff was a real highlight. They remembered our names and room number throughout our stay, which felt thoughtful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and the lake view was genuinely beautiful. The gym was clean, updated, and perfectly adequate for a comfortable workout. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of options and variety. ⚠️ Areas for improvement
 There were a few small details that, with a little more attention, could elevate the experience even further. We were provided with an ironing board that wasn’t in working condition and an iron that was missing parts, which caused a slight delay to our plans one morning. A replacement iron was provided, however it was marked and unfortunately left a small stain on one of my garments. The pickleball court was located in a basement area that felt a little unfinished and could benefit from some added care and presentation. The rooftop pool offered lovely skyline views, however the space itself felt quite quiet, with worn lounge chairs and limited ambience. A poolside bar or some soft music could really enhance the atmosphere and make this area more inviting. One evening, an event held above our room resulted in music and drums being audible late into the night, which impacted rest. Better soundproofing could help ensure guest comfort during events. The laundry service was priced at the higher end, and a price list wasn’t provided. While we could have asked in advance, clearer upfront pricing would have made the experience a little smoother. Breakfast service was pleasant, though it felt less interactive compared to other 4- and 5-star hotels we stayed at in Hanoi, where staff were especially proactive in checking in with guests, offering recommendations, and seeking feedback. 🌿 Final thoughts 
A very beautiful hotel with warm front-facing staff, spacious rooms, and lovely views. With a little more attention to detail and consistency in service, this property has the potential to offer a truly exceptional luxury experience. A wonderful stay in many ways, with just a few opportunities to shine even brighter.

This is a great hotel located in the heart of Hanoi, surrounded by excellent restaurants, coffee shops, night markets, and many tourist attractions. The location is very convenient for exploring the city. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were very clean, and the amenities were excellent. The sauna, swimming pool, breakfast buffet, restaurant, hotel lobby, and overall facilities were all impressive and well-maintained. I would definitely come back and book my accommodation at this hotel again.
