"Location is good, just 1 min walk to the station from hotel, and coop supermarket nearby, many restaurants around. Just don’t expect any services and aware there will be few steps front of hotel and if you need to store luggage before/after check in. Also, no expectation for the breakfast, that some simple one."

"It is a hostel so you should expect what you paid for … over all the front staff Julian and Isabelle were the nicest, the lodge is just a doorsteps to the Grindelwald Terminal … there is a transport village bus card which the front desk will give you so that you can use this to go around the Main Village and just right around Grindelwald .. — the bad side, in mixed dorm the room is very tiny for 6beds it’s not really very comfortable specially when someone walking around with his boxer shorts 😞 … the facilities are pristine but they don’t provide towels in room you have to ask this in front desk - it’s the cheapest place in town but it’s the loveliest the bar grill is so relaxing while sipping with your ginger ale … the breakfast can’t complain it’s all delish with all those bowls of yogurt and freshly brewed coffee yum"

"Extraordinary experience! The room has a large balcony with a stunning view of snow mountains. Bed is clean and soft. Some chocolates and coffee are included. Basic amenities like towels, body wash, shampoo, hair dryer and slippers are included! Location is particularly awesome, exactly next to Grindelwald station. You literally step in the hotel right after you get off from your train. Breakfast is typical but well-served. Staff are very nice and provide clear guidance."

"Luxury personalized !! Right outside the train station, excellent service and delicious food, Sauna n steam facilities, massive room and bathroom with all the immunities slippers, bathrobe, etc  View is a 10 on 10 all three sides. It’s a paradise to look out of the window when you get up in the morning, I shall be staying at this place if I ever return to Grindelwald."

"Almost Perfect Stay at Hotel Alpenhof Täysin hämmästyttävä vuoristo näkymä balkonista sviittimme. Joten hengittävä vielä niin rauhallinen. Our suite is clean n comfortable n spacious. WiFi is stable. "We stayed at Eiger Lodge Chic as a couple, and honestly, the location alone won us over — it’s incredibly convenient, just a short walk next to the terminal. That made getting around a breeze and gave us more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Some of the facilities were under renovation during our stay, but it really didn’t disrupt our experience. The place still felt calm, clean, and thoughtfully managed — you can tell they’re upgrading with the future in mind. Breakfast was simple, but everything served was fresh, tasty, and more than enough to start the day right before heading out. Sometimes it’s the straightforward things done well that make a stay feel grounded and comforting. Overall, a lovely, easy, and practical base for exploring the Jungfrau region. We’d happily return."

The breakfast was nice with different choices of food served in a traditional restaurant at ground floor. The garden in front of the hotel was planted with flowers. Will definitely stay again when I come to Grindelwald."
