Abuta District Hotels with Parvekkeita

This was my first stay at Sanu Niseko. Although it was a short one night stay, I was very happy with the experience. The property was extremely well designed, amenitized, and fitted out. Although the space was not very big, it was right sized and very comfortable. The various appliances and equipment (sound, video projector) were great touches and set up the visitor for a full experience. This was not just a hotel or villa property, but a getaway resort experience, or glamping plus plus. Everything worked, and was designed and placed logically. The sauna arrangement was perfect, and the skylights a delightful addition. I look forward to returning with my family.

Ehkä paras hotelli, jonka olemme oleskelleet Japanissa. Kaikki oli täydellistä ja henkilöstö maksoi huomiota yksityiskohtiin joka kerta. Muista vain ottaa yhteyttä hotelliin etukäteen, jos tarvitset siirron JR Toyasta hotelliin. Hotellissa oli paljon pelejä pelata ja näköala järven oli hämmästyttävä. Loungealueella on baari niille, jotka ovat alkoholissa. Huone oli tilava ja super mukava korkealaatuisia tiloja tarjottu. Erityinen kylpyhuone oli myös upea. On kahvinkeitin ja tippa kahvinvalmistaja, joka oli mielenkiintoinen kokemus. Aamiainen ja illallinen olivat myös erittäin herkullisia yläkerran ainesosia. - Hyvä.

Very convenient if you are planning to do some skiing in Niseko, great dinner menu and amazing lounge with a fireplace and complementary wine. Breakfast is Japanese style with no alternatives, the staff is nice but calling a taxi is mission impossible and everyone is quite dismissive with the guests, like there is no taxi and that’s not our problem, in a hotel this expensive it should be your problem whether you like it or not.

A very comfortable and clean apartment with amazing views and in a great location. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen, with plenty of space to relax with friends on our nights in. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and proximity to Yama Sports was very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

When booking did not mention 10 years old kid need to pay additional 3000yen for bed sharing. Pricey compared to all my other hotel booking at Hokkaido. There is no water bottle provided, no amenties as well. All massage chair spoiled. Do not worth the price paid.

The biggest issue I have from the stay was that it was too short. The ryokan was awesome - very cosy and spacious for a double room. The place may be old, but certainly gives off the grandma’s place old but cosy vibes. Usage of the washing machine is free, and located just right outside the public bath. You can rest outside on the sofa after your bath while waiting for your laundry. The ryokan’s location is superb - walking distance to the nearest bus stop and to a bunch of convenience stores, drugstores and restaurants. As I was travelling during the long fireworks display period, the ryokan’s location is the best as the fireworks display is right behind it (or right in front of your window). The place may not be so well equipped like your typical hotel in the cities, but it’s definitely enough for simple travels. Would love to visit the place again

Hinzan was amazing for our ski vacation in Niseko! The location is super central, but they also have a shuttle that can take you to the lifts and around Hirafu so you don't have to walk with your gear. There were ski lockers and a room in the lobby with boot warmers. The in-room washer/dryer was also very convenient. While the front desk times were limited, they were very flexible about arranging for staff to stay late/come early for check in and check out. All the staff were amazing, going out of their way to make sure we had a good stay! Would definitely stay here again!

Review: 5-Night Stay at One Niseko Hotel, Japan We recently stayed five nights at One Niseko and overall enjoyed our stay, but there are some important things future guests — especially skiers — should know. The rooms were spacious, generally clean, and had very comfortable beds and linens. A few small maintenance issues could use attention, but nothing that seriously affected our stay. Breakfast was decent but fairly repetitive, with mostly the same offerings each day aside from a few rotating dishes. Transportation logistics are probably the biggest consideration. The hotel only offers one daily pickup from the Grand Hirafu bus terminal, and it requires advance reservation. The hotel shuttle itself runs only to Annupuri and Moiwa and does so infrequently, often not aligning well with lift closing times. If the upper mountain lifts close early 3:30pm if they open at all  and may unexpectedly close due to wind or snow.Yyou can easily end up far from the hotel in this situation. Without the shuttle, taxis are limited and cost around $30 USD, or you may face a crowded 1.5-hour bus ride — skis included. The hotel is also quite far from Grand Hirafu, and there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance. We even walked back from Moiwa one day in the rain because the shuttle wouldn’t return for another hour — not ideal after skiing. On the positive side, ski rental prices at the hotel were actually better than many shops in the surrounding area. The hotel restaurant is flexible too — if it’s not full, you can usually walk in without a reservation. The onsen itself is nice, but etiquette enforcement could improve. Some guests were not following standard onsen rules and wearing underwear in the baths, which created an awkward atmosphere (I felt like an exhibitionist!). Management may want to either enforce rules more clearly or consider alternative policies to maintain guest comfort (allow swimsuits). Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but unless you have a rental car, I would strongly recommend considering accommodation in Niseko Village or closer to the lifts for convenience. One Niseko is comfortable but somewhat isolated, and transportation can become challenging quickly depending on weather and lift operations.

Lake facing.  Nice and serene view.  Rather old and dated.  Needs a refurbishment.  We had tatami mat room which takes a bit of getting used to for the tatami smell.  Big room. But very small toilet.  Could have made the toilet bigger and ditch the useless storage cupboard next to the door.  Beds need to be upgraded.  Old and mattress far too thin. Breakfast and dinner were so-so.  Only plus points are lake facing and cleanliness is acceptable.  Free carpark next to hotel.
