"The room was wide and pretty, beds were comfortable as well. The place is close to supermarket and free transportation. However, there was a flooding issue in our bathroom (maybe due to the drainage pipe) and also the shower head had a dripping issue. Staff were helpful to help us fix the dripping, however it started to drip again at night. Other than the issue above, the stay was pleasant, and I would recommend staying here if the bathroom issue could be improved."

"Very big and comfortable room. Only thing is that the carpark is almost 500m away and if you don't want to walk, will need to pay $75 for valet parking. Otherwise, highly recommended."

"I was very satisfied with the location's convenience. It's very close to the station and city center, also the Rottnest Island ferry is only about a ten-minute walk away. The front desk staff were also very friendly. On my first day, they probably saw I arrived early and was tired, so they arranged a room for me early. However, perhaps because the hotel itself is a bit old, there were some stains in the room, and the curtains weren't fully closed. I need to confirm the room's condition with the hotel to avoid being held responsible. But the bathroom was very clean, and I liked the shampoo and body wash very much. The room was also cleaned very well every day! The only thing that bothered me was the environment near the hotel. On my first day, I saw homeless people, which made me a little uneasy. Maybe can improve the appearance of the hotel to make guests feel more at ease."

"The receptionist is in convenient store gotta checkin there, the listing said parking is included FOC but when when checkin we are charged $15 per night for the parking. Room are quite dated and amenities not the best, the shower head is moldy. During the night there is people screaming outside, drunk? I guess for this price cant ask for too much :/"

Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!"

"Perfect location for a short stay. The hotel is central, there is a wonderful bar and restaurant if it gets late and you prefer to stay in. We had a drink at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. There’s a pool and gym which is great to have on hot days. It was close to many shops and restaurants which is ideal as you don’t have to travel far also to enjoy the pier and city views."

"I slipped in the bathtub during my stay and had to be rushed to hospital emergency. The surface is extremely slippery and does not appear to have any anti-slip protection especially after shower. This is a serious safety hazard. I strongly advise future guests to be extra cautious when using the tub, especially if it’s wet. The hotel should take immediate action to improve bathroom safety before someone else gets seriously hurt."

"Only complaint is the aircon in my room smelled of old sweaty gym clothes. Room was good for a short stay but need to lock cars as outsiders tried to break in. Hotel staff was nice and follow up was good to ensure we could check in late."

"Decent hotel although out of the cbd. 910 bus into the cbd stops outside while walking another block also allows you on the 32 bus into the cbd. Water plumbing is a bit loud Paying the extra for a City view room is well worth it otherwise you could end up with a room that faces the main road."

"Quest is a nice and clean service apt with good location however, I encountered an extremely unpleasant experience on the last day when I checked out. I had booked via Trip and had fully prepaid for the stay but hotel staff, Pablo, informed me curtly that the stay has not been paid. He threatened that the cost will be deducted against my security deposit if the hotel does not receive the payment. This is an issue between Trip and the hotel but I am being harassed for the supposed non-payment. Pablo was extremely rude and condescending and marred the whole service experience."
