We had the best views of the Yalu River, Broken bridge and the friendship bridge from our room and could look into North Korea with binoculars. The binoculars in the room were a thoughtful addition. Mr. Huang Rui at the Reception desk was very helpful. He helped us with transport and restaurant recommendations and kept checking in on us from time to time. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was really small and congested. However, the breathtaking view made up for it. So, no complaints. Highly recommend this hotel.

It was an amazing hotel with high level of luxury. Friendly staff. Location is excellent next to the most luxurious mall in Shenyang, Mixc, which can be accessible from the hotel through underground. Youth park is across the street from the hotel and it's a good place for a walk. Hotel is located in a very nice and safe area.

Location excellence. Near Subway Line 1 exit. Many Malls and eateries. Famous LaoBian Dumplings 5 mins walk. Room dated but big. On high floors can view Shenyang skyline. Breakfast acceptable. Overall an comfortable stay.

This is one of the best value-for-money hotels I’ve stayed at in China. If you don’t mind slightly aged furniture, this is a great choice and definitely worth considering. What I liked: • The location is very good, with many shopping malls nearby, including Walmart. • Despite the affordable price, the hotel still provides standard concierge services such as luggage delivery and welcome fruits, which was a nice touch. • The overall service level exceeded expectations for the price point. Tips: • If your booking does not include breakfast, you may want to check with the front desk — you might be in for a pleasant surprise. • For metro access, I preferred using Taiyuanjie Station instead of Shenyang Station, as it felt more convenient. Overall, a great budget-friendly option with good service and an excellent location.

Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether.

When I ask to print out the invoice of 2 nights stay at the check-out desk, the person did not give me any invoice. I do not understand whether this is their regulation or not. I was expecting to receive the invoice for the 2 nights stay as usual. The reception did not even answer to my request on May 31st when she can give or not. If the person did not understand my English, then there should be a person to speak in English at least in the reception for Check-in and Check-out. That's is why I have chosen Sheraton hotel. It was no pleasant morning.

This hotel is amazing! The staff was very attentive, especially Eric Jin, the manager of the concierge department, who helped me solve my personal problems and other travel questions very well. He took the initiative to attack, which exceeded my expectations. I often fly and travel all over the world, and this manager stands out among the many people I have come into contact with over the years. He is definitely a pearl of Shenyang. This manager is definitely a valuable asset of a Swiss hotel. With his way of thinking and motivation, he will be very successful in the future. Very, very touching. A fantastic hotel, with a Southeast Asian-inspired jungle in the lobby. It was very fun to be in such a unique hotel. The hotel seems to be split into three sections - savannah, sea, and forest. The corridors and rooms in all three were very nicely decorated with the artwork and carpets matching the theme. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious with many options and the hot pot dinner was a real highlight.
