A single issue can significantly detract from the overall experience, overshadowing the hotel's positive attributes, such as its location and the city's appeal. The room's cleanliness did not meet the standards expected of a five-star establishment. Despite presumed cleaning efforts, the room exhibited persistent uncleanliness. Evidence of this is readily apparent; for example, personal items left on surfaces, such as an iPad, mobile device, or dark-colored clothing, quickly accumulated dust or grime. Photographic evidence further substantiates this claim. Upon departure after a two-night stay, we attempted to address this concern with the reception. However, instead of offering an apology, the staff questioned our delay in reporting the issue and offered a complimentary coffee as compensation. How funny.

The guy at the FD who checked us in was very nice. He was very helpful that when we noticed we don’t have a kettle in room, he went up to our floor and got us a new one.
The only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Hair was found beside the window and the duvet cover was a bit stained.
But overall we enjoyed the stay. :)

預訂的king suit套間，房間面積很大，適合家庭出遊。
加拿大這邊默認不提供一次性用品，最好是帶自己的洗漱用品，尤其是拖鞋，這裏沒有一次性拖鞋，去前台索要的話衹提供循環使用的腳套（冬天避免地板涼）
這邊一般是下午3點才能入住，最好是有ihg的會員，要不然3點以前不能入住，需要單獨付費25加元。酒店忙的時候，會員延遲退房也不能用，這點要注意。
建議預訂朝西側的房間，傍晚看落日非常非常美。如果是自駕遊的話，推薦去河邊的公園，5分鐘車程，那裡有大片綠地，能看到成羣的野生加拿大鵝

Beautiful property, located in the heart of the city. Recently renovated facilities and rooms, staff are very friendly and always available to provide great recommendations to explore the city.
Walking distance to lots of great restaurants, cafes and attractions.
Highly recommended for both business or leisure.

위치가 환상적이다. 샤또 프롱트낙이 눈앞에 바로 보이고 올드 퀘벡의 중심에 위치하고 있어 어디든 이동하기 쉽다. 벨보이부터 발레파킹 담당자, 데스크 직원까지 모두가 불어, 영어에 능통하고 친절하다. 호텔 자체는 오래되어서 룸의 구조 자체는 낡았으나 새로 리모델링하여 깨끗하고 단정하다.
물론 샤또 프롱트낙에 숙박하면 좋겠지만 여건상 힘들다면 클래랜던 호텔이 최고의 대안이 될 것이다.

Note que nous avons été déplacé à l'Auberge du lac. Le Chateau du lac est un ancien building centenaire donc il faut aimer. L'auberge du lac est plus récemment rénové.

VVieraskäyttäjäI’ve been coming to Hotel Zero 1 for a few years, being the only hotel I book in Montreal due to its impeccable walkability. That being said, it’s unfortunate that it’s no longer shiny and new, you can really see the wear and tear over the years. If you want luxury you’re not going to find it here; however, it’s still a great place to stay for the action packed traveller who wants somewhere a bit nicer than a motel to stay. I booked knowing full well it wasn’t going to be the most amazing stay but it was not as bad as some of the Google reviews make it out to be- it’s just dated. The room was clean, check in and check out was easy, and even though the valet service is closed, the parkade they directed us to was safe and straightforward. I’d categorize this hotel as 3 stars as the amenities aren’t that great, but just know what you’re walking into, manage your expectations to that, and you will have a great stay.
It’s just kind of a shame to see a hotel that I have great memories in not keep up with maintaining the property. If they repaired the fabric on the bed, replaced the shower heads and updated with smart TVs, that would make a world of difference.
TLDR;
Pros: clean linens, cable tv, microwave and fridge in the room
Cons: dated technology, broken Roku, only one elevator for the whole building, no on site parking.

The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. It does have a laundry facility, which is nice, but the breakfasts are really substandard, considering the cost. Selecting breakfasts increases the room cost significantly, or you could pay $27 per person for the breakfast. It was standard hotel breakfast buffet - you could get twice the quality for half the price elsewhere. And parking is $28 per day, or portion of a day.

VVieraskäyttäjäSamesun on hyvä ja edullinen perushostelli, joka sijaitsee kätevästi Montrealissa. Hostelli houkuttelee yleensä nuorempaa väestöä, mutta keski-ikä on silti 18–35-vuotiaat, ja paikan päällä oleva baari on melko suosittu.
Hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen on yllättävän kelvollinen, ja tarjolla on bageleita, vohveleita, kahvia, mehua ja muroja sekä muffineja. Aamiainen on saatavilla muistaakseni klo 7.30–10, mutta yritin aina tulla paikalle aikaisin, koska tein vapaaehtoistyötä Montrealin sarjakuvatapahtumassa ja halusin hyvän aamiaisen ennen päivän aloittamista.
Hostelli on lähellä, mutta se on myös hieman kaupungin karuimmalla alueella, ja yöllä siellä voi olla kodittomia, mutta useimmat ovat suhteellisen vaarattomia.
Rakennus on vanhempi, mutta sängyt ovat mukavat ja olen pidempi kaveri ja pystyin silti nukkumaan sängyissä hyvin. Olin sekamakuusalissa, ja ainoa valituksen aihe oli yksi kylpyhuone ja se, että sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä ei vain anneta pyyhettä, vaan se on pyydettävä tai tuotava oma.
Keittiön yhteydessä on toinen kylpyhuone suihkulla, ja se auttaa, jos huoneessasi oleva on kiireinen. Toisena yönä joku siivooja oli mielestäni sammuttanut ilmastoinnin, mutta oli helppo selvittää, miten se kytketään takaisin päälle ja milloin se on päällä, huoneet ovat mukavia. Ilman sitä oli kuitenkin tunkkainen ja kuuma.
Pidin ja arvostin todella tarjottua laukkusäilytystä, koska minun piti kirjautua ulos klo 15, mutta Megabusini oli vasta klo 12.30... mutta pystyin säilyttämään laukkuani noin klo 22 asti ja sitten noutamaan sen ja jatkamaan matkaani.
Vaikka tässä hostellissa ei ole poreallasta tai kaikkia muiden mukavuuksia, jos tarvitset vain hyvän huoneen ja kunnollisen aamiaisen, tämä paikka täyttää tarpeesi enemmän kuin hyvin.

VVieraskäyttäjäThere are many positives about this long term stay hotel. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The hot buffet (included with the price of the overnight stay)is absolutely amazing, just that alone is worth staying there. Toasts, bagels, muffins, cereals, hot porridge, cheese omelette, plain omelette, boiled egg, sausages, bacon, … and a “make your own” waffle station with sauces, whipped cream and different toppings!!! The coffee and tea or hot water is available in the lobby 24/7! Inside my studio suite, there is a full kitchen with dishwasher, full size fridge and you can borrow an electric induction plate for cooking. The room is big, with a curtain dividing the sofa bed and the king size bed. There are two layers of blinds to ensure complete darkness when sleeping.
The only negative thing was that my hotel room was facing the main road and so there were cars going by every 3-5 mins in the middle of the night, and I heard all the cars that went by, even at 1:00am or 3:00am while I was trying to sleep!!! The next day, I asked for ear plugs from the reception and slept so much better! I should have asked for them when I checked in.
The water temperature of the indoor saltwater pool is not too cold, but not warm. I had a good swim. This hotel is less than two years old, so everything is new, clean and bright. Lots of families with young children stayed there on the weekend I was there. A special thank you to the friendly staff especially the one who assisted me with my luggages.

I was at the shower - the shower gel and shampoo were both empty. Obviously they didn’t refill the bottle. That’s fine. I called the counter and asked them to bring me new bottles. They rejected and asked me to go down. Ok that’s fine. I asked my friend to go down. He came back and said someone would come to change the bottles soon. Sure. I stood in the shower room for 10 minutes and no one came. Ok maybe they needed more time. I came out of the shower and sat down on the bed. Another 10 minutes. So I asked my friend to find someone. He was told that someone would come again. Another 10 minutes. A man came and gave me a bottle of shampoo and body lotion???? My friend went out again and finally got me some shower gel in a cup. It took more than 30 minutes and I just stood there. After shower, I got to do the skincare routine, dry my long hair and so on. Eventually, I went to check out. I was late of course. The lady asked me to pay for late fee. I was like ???????????????????? Explained and she agreed to waive the fee. Everything was perfect until the empty da** bottles. I am late for my lunch reservation now and I am missing some attractions for sure.

VVieraskäyttäjäMy stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—right in downtown and close to all the fun spots, many just a short walk away. The lobby greets you with a refreshing scent and genuinely warm smiles from the staff—they make you feel right at home from the start.
I had the juiciest steak ever, and the 24-hour heated pool? Total relaxation! The only thing I’d change is the pool’s location. You currently have to walk through the restaurant and lobby (which are open to non-guests), so it feels a bit awkward strolling by in your swimsuit. A private walkway or different pool spot would make it perfect!
Overall, I had an incredible time and would definitely come back. 🤗

VVieraskäyttäjäMy experience was awful. The first night a false alarm went off in the entire hotel at 4:45am. The next day we came back to our room and the room service was not done. Lastly, since the hotel was going through renovations, our last night at the hotel was horrible since the day before the AC units on our floor were turned off cause of the same renovations previously stated. In summary, an awful experience especially for how expensive the hotel was. The only good thing was the location but will never stay at this Embassy Suites again

generally this is an old school fashion hotel with required quality. two things that are not so satisfied during this journey.
One is although the location is convenient, the surrounding environment is not that good. the hotel is low rise building, and there is a open park nearby. you can here some people grouping and noising at midnight occasionally, i think they rejoice with weeds. also when you walk outside street, the air is full of **** smell.
the second thing is the problem with fire arm in my room on one afternoon, which is loud and harming my ear.
