Lovely location, beautiful hotel, set back from the road over-looking the sea. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the centre of Sanremo, only a 10 minute walk into the centre. With a delicious breakfast with plenty of variety. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The spa was lovely, with a large steam room, sauna, Hydrotherapy pool, showers and ice. As well as plenty of loungers, teas, water and fruit.
Très beau séjour. Hotel très bien situé. Personnels très sympathiques et professionnels.

The gentleman at the front desk had to move me three times to get a room with a working air conditioner during the June heat wave across Europe. This meant managing three luggage on my own. Then, a plumber had to called to fix the non-working toilet. Finally, the dinner (Caesar’s Salad) at the restaurant was sadly unlike ANY such salad I’ve eaten in my 71 years.YUCK! The large window was broken and wouldn’t close all the way, the main door’s chain lock was broken, as well, there wasn’t any food menu or tv instructions in the room, and no toiletries other than shampoo. The positives? Well, the room was very clean, the staff were all pleasant and the wake up call actually worked! Certainly a no frills hotel but very convenient to the airport.

The hotel was very good, clean rooms and in excellent location for all amenities, parking was free and outside hotel as it is next to a shopping centre.

Son stato ospite 4 giorni prima di partire per Mallorca , e nonostante un piccolo disguido peraltro ( non dovuto allo staff ) devo dire mi son trovato molto bene . Il personale attento ai minimi dettagli , e alla cura del cliente , stanze moderne con aria condizionata , bollitore , smart tv e tanti altri servizi .
Terrazza panoramica fantastica , palestra e colazione degna di nota .
Che devo dire … mi son sentito proprio coccolato

La camera ha una ottima vista per il mare, ci siamo piaciuti tantissimo. Camera pulita e abbastanza silenziosa, ristorante della hotel con prezzi buoni e anche cibi buoni. consiglio proprio!!!!

The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes.
We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini.
On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients.
I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic..
I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep.
Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros.

TTrip LOVERssThis is the best hotel I had ever stayed in Europe. It is an old historical building and all interiors had been renovated. The best part is they had kept a historical lift and overall interiors was beautifully arranged.
Location is 5-stars because this hotel is only 6 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes to central area.
Amenities is also 5-stars because this hotel offers a FULL minibar of drinks including two bottles of water, two pop drinks, one bottle of juice and peanuts and they are all free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap and shower cap are fully provided.
Cleanliness is also 5-stars. We had messed up the room with two big full luggages of things and the housekeroinh had helped us to tuck in our two luggages under the window sill
Seevuxe is also 5-stars. We bought two bottles of wines and they provided us with wine glasses and cork with great service. Also it was our first time in Genova, the receptionist had detailedly explained which area we should go and how to go.
Overall, it is the best hotel i had stayed so far.

Erinomainen tilava keittiö sopii täydellisesti ruoanlaittoon. Keittiössä on ilmaisia aineksia: munia, pastaa, tomaattipyrettä, säilykkeitä, tomaatteja, kurkkua, sipulia, valkosipulia ja kesäkurpitsaa. Runsaasti astioita. Siellä on upea terassi ja lukualueita. Pohjakerroksessa on hauska baari. Huoneissa on hyvä ilmanvaihto. Wi-Fi toimii loistavasti. Pohjakerroksessa on peliryhmä, jossa voi pelata ****************** ja biljardia. Baarissa on pöytäjalkapalloa. Hinnat ovat kohtuulliset. Tämä on todella ihanteellinen hostelli, jossa jokainen yksityiskohta on harkittu, jotta vieraat tuntevat olonsa mukavaksi. Olen Milanossa viikon kuluttua - varasin myös hostellin tästä ketjusta siellä, kaikki siellä on yhtä hienoa. Suosittelen sitä kaikille! Genovan keskusta on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä hostellilta. Rautatieasema ja FlixBus ovat 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Kaiken kaikkiaan se on täydellinen.

The rooms were very basic and a bit run down but the beds were very comfortable. The rooms kind of felt like a dorm room to me. A/C worked well. Rooms were big for European hotel rooms (I’m Canadian and used to very large hotel rooms). The shower was very small but for only a 2 night stay it wasn’t a big deal. There was a mini fridge that actually kept items cold! I find hotel mini fridges are usually subpar. The location wasn’t ideal for us because the train station was a 15 minute walk away but if you are driving, location wouldn’t be an issue. We did not explore Sarzana, this was used as a home base to explore Cinque Terre, and for the price, I believe this hotel is worth it.

I would go back to this hotel again, no question. The spa swimming pool was cold and overall the spa wasn’t worth €18 each to go in but overall the hotel was superb. One thing the staff did do was cater for our need for having hot drinks in our room. No kettle provided but they were more than helpful in providing a tray and tea pots when needed. Gotta have our cup of tea in the morning. Thank you Hotel Europa!
