Super convenient just next to Madame Tussauds. I travelled in Nov so it’s also right next to the Christmas market and main shopping street. Came by train and it’s only 10 mins walk to the hotel from the nearest metro. Its also an easy walk to the castle and for a stroll next tot the river. Due to the location, everywhere s walkable and k don’t even need to use the metro for a 3 days trip. I Room is well equipped but due to that, it’s a little small but comfortable enough. Breakfast is okay with good options.

Excellent hotel to spend time between flights. The hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle service available 24 hours a day. Large and clean rooms, rich, varied and delicious breakfast. Additional meals can be ordered for a fee - all the dishes we chose were delicious. Excellent staff at the reception.

Hotel was OK. I booked bigger room and was nice. Breakfast also OK. I read some negative reviews and is true, the bathroom need update. Also environment in hotel have some limits, eq. dirty elevator. Many info what is prohibited is doing unfriendly feeling. Eq. they gave me sign paper, where was indicated ”food from restaurant is prohibited to bring to the room - if explored, will be fined by 8 EUR”. Later I understand - the meaning was food from breakfast, but statement like that can make misunderstanding - could be better explained. Generally I liked hotel, also was walkable to city center.

Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing.

Being just minutes away from both the majestic Buda Castle and the picturesque Fisherman’s Bastion was a huge plus. I particularly appreciated the convenience for early risers – those who wish to view the stunning sunrise and enjoy the area before the crowds arrive (potentially with free entrance before official opening hours) will find this hotel incredibly convenient, as it's just a short stroll away. Furthermore, the hotel's location also allows for a pleasant walk to the viewing area across the river from the Parliament building. Seeing the illuminated Parliament at night from the opposite bank was a memorable experience, and it was easily accessible on foot from the hotel. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. However, there was one notable downside: the soundproofing could be improved. I occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which sometimes disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Overall: Despite the minor issue with soundproofing, I would still highly recommend the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle, especially for travelers who prioritize location above all else. Its proximity to key attractions like Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion, along with the easy access to sunrise views and the Parliament panorama, makes it a truly convenient base for exploring the best of Buda. If you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea, but the unbeatable location truly makes this hotel a strong contender for your Budapest stay.

整體性價比比較高的酒店，房間寬敞安靜，衞生也很好。前台的服務員態度很好，要給他們贊一下。 早餐不算豐盛，但是也還可以。酒店離小火車站很近，坐車去布達佩斯很方便。

Great Stay in Budapest – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Budapest. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from, making it a great way to start the day. The room was spotless and well-maintained, creating a very comfortable and relaxing environment. The location was perfect – it took less than 10 minutes to walk to Heroes’ Square, which made exploring the city so easy. What really stood out, however, was the staff – everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is excellent as it is facing the parliament building, which is the most beautiful architecture in the city. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety of good choices. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. The bathtub and shower are separate. Overall it's very good value for money.

The location is perfect near the square,service is good , breakfast was good also , they have nice area for breakfast out and inside seating , no fridge or kettle in room . My room was with balcony which was perfect view for the square.

Delightful little hotel in a quiet but easily accessible area of Budapest. Rooms were clean, nice and warm. Heating could be adjusted to your own preference. Paid for Breakfast consisted of a Coffee of choice and two delicious warm croissants. There is a private courtyard for Al fresco drinking or chilling out. Highly recommend to friends and family.
