It’s such a surprise for me to find an amazing hotel in Yin Zhou City, which is not known to many. It’s culturally enriched with many traditional Chinese arts. The location is central, the breakfast is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the facilities are new and clean. Will certainly come again! Thank you everyone!

I had the best experience here.
1. The bed is soooo comfortable. So as the pillow. I wish I could bring the bed with me to my country.
2. Great hospitality. I really enjoyed the great quality of the water and the bar. I also enjoyed fresh breakfast.
3. Great location. Easy access to the Russian street, shopping malls, CVS, good eataries, and also easy to access to the local farmer's market.
4. Cleaning lady was doing awesome job. She made sure to refill all the toiletries, along with the water.
RiYueMing is not just a good place, but the best place to bring your family too. Definitely recommend

This hotels really surprised us with the anesthetic, believe me the photos do not do this hotel justice.
You need to see this in person.
The lights, the smells, the friendly staff at the door and the amazing reception ladies that do everything to make you feel like this hotel is in your country.

The hotel is located beside shopping mall and very convenient for eating and shopping. They also provide humidifer for this dry and winter weather. We are not used to having heater in the room and have asked for fan to have ventilation.
Breakfast is fabulous with wide variety of foods and drinks!
There is also mini robot sending your taobao or ******* orders to the room!
Superb service and highly recommended!

We stayed as Family with 2 children at the Hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Also the rooms are comfortable and clean. The Hotel Location is close to the Train Station and some of the Tourist attractions. Unfortunately, there is not the „real pulse of Shenyang“, as it is More in a „railroad like“ area. View is attached in the photos.

Very nice and modern room. Very clean.
However,the room was facing the busy street in front with a lot of traffic,and windows are not totally soundproof. Staff is friendly,some English spoken. Not too much around the hotel though,Luckin coffee shop right by. Not too far from both railway stations,Shenyang station and north station. Metro about 10 min walk away. Bus stop right outside with buses to the train station/metro and main central area.

The décor and facilities look dated. It’s slightly below the standards one would expect from a Hilton hotel. The price reflects this as well, while still being expensive for a city like Shenyang.
The staff are very friendly. They agreed to a late check-out.
Breakfast is really poor for the price: the fruit juices come from cartons rather than being freshly pressed, the pastries are industrial, and the fried eggs are overcooked. I would recommend avoiding it.

This hotel is amazing! The staff was very attentive, especially Eric Jin, the manager of the concierge department, who helped me solve my personal problems and other travel questions very well. He took the initiative to attack, which exceeded my expectations. I often fly and travel all over the world, and this manager stands out among the many people I have come into contact with over the years. He is definitely a pearl of Shenyang. This manager is definitely a valuable asset of a Swiss hotel. With his way of thinking and motivation, he will be very successful in the future.

VVyyc94Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE.
Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here.
I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment.
The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone.
The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese.
There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt.
The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space.
The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel.
There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee.
The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality.
There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

Vietimme perheenä neljä yötä The Castle Dalianissa ja nautimme kokemuksestamme täysin siemauksin. Tilavasta ja kauniisti sisustetusta huoneestamme 12. kerroksessa oli upeat merinäköalat, mikä teki vierailustamme todella ikimuistoisen.
Hotellin sisääntuloaula on vaikuttavan suuri ja tyylikkäästi suunniteltu, mikä loi tervetulleen tunnelman heti alusta alkaen. Lapsiperheille on tarjolla suuri leikkialue, josta veloitetaan lisämaksu. Onneksi hotellin vieraat saavat alennusta.
Ulkona hotellilla on viehättävä pieni puisto, josta on upeat näkymät lahdelle ja kaunis maisemointi – täydellinen paikka rentouttavalle kävelylle. Hotelli sijaitsee pienellä kukkulalla, joten kävelymatka takaisin keskustaan on hieman pitkä. Ilmainen bussikuljetus on kuitenkin erittäin kätevä, ja se tarjoaa helpon kuljetuksen alas kaupunkiin ja takaisin.
Huoneemme oli harkitusti sisustettu ja erittäin tilava, ja siinä oli suuri ja hyvin varusteltu kylpyhuone. Yksi pieni haittapuoli oli, että sängyn vieressä oli vain yksi pistorasia (vain toisella puolella) eikä USB-portteja puhelimien lataamiseen, mikä olisi ollut mukava lisä.
Aamiainen ja muut hotellin ateriat olivat herkullisia, ja tarjolla oli runsas valikoima sekä kiinalaisia että länsimaisia ruokia. Ainoa parannusta vaativa alue olisi aamiaisravintolan wc-tilojen siisteys, jotka valitettavasti olivat usein epäsiistit ja kaipasivat useammin huomiota.
27-asteisena pidetty uima-allas ei ollut ihanteellinen pienille lapsille, koska siellä ei ole erillistä lastenosastoa. Vieraiden tulee myös huomioida, että uimalakin käyttö on pakollista. Allasalueella on mini-suomalainen sauna ja pukuhuoneisiin integroitu höyrysauna. Altaan vieressä on kuitenkin vain aurinkotuoleja, joten saunakokemus oli aivan erilainen kuin rentouttavat saunakäynnit, joihin olemme tottuneet Euroopassa.
Kaiken kaikkiaan Castle Dalian tarjoaa ihanan loman kauniine näkymineen, erinomaisella ruoalla ja perheystävällisillä palveluilla, mikä tekee siitä loistavan valinnan alueella vieraileville matkailijoille.

RRojaeWe stayed at Novotel Dalian Zhongshan as a family, and chose it largely because it’s a newly opened hotel (2025).
While the location felt slightly less central than we expected, it was hardly a drawback—taxi fares are very affordable, making it easy to get around. Having a convenience store on the first floor was also a real advantage, especially for families.
The room itself was immaculately clean, exceptionally spacious, and paired with a beautiful view, it made for a very comfortable stay. We were also genuinely pleased with the fruit and beverage service, which felt thoughtful and welcoming.
One more highlight: the delivery robot was fascinating—no matter how many times we saw it, it still felt surprisingly cool and memorable!
Overall, a modern, well-maintained hotel that we’d happily recommend to families seeking comfort and a touch of something new.

VVieraskäyttäjäI will start with the positive and say that the resort is located on a hill facing the sea and some mountains so I was happy that I had a good view from my room window. The balcony was an added bonus, but although I went for a deluxe double room, there was nothing deluxe about it! I stayed in 3 & 4 star hotels in China that they were not much different than this room I was given. The staff were very polite and accommodating, but most of them had very little English or no English at all - had to use a translation app or repeat/rephrase a few times (Chinese & English are the spoken languages according to the website). The wifi is very weak so I kept using my own mobile data. The rooms are not sound insulated so I kept hearing the banging of nearby doors and people passing or stalling/talking along the corridor. In a nutshell, the amenities and service offered do not compare to the experience I had at Hilton hotels elsewhere. It is definitely not good value for money. Disappointing.

The staff was incredibly friendly, which made our stay completely comfortable with no inconveniences whatsoever. I would definitely consider returning in the future.
