Good for the price. A little worn in places, but well equipped. Appreciated the room had a microwave. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and are probably the best thing about this hotel. I did have a package delivered to the front desk prior to my arrival. Unfortunately, it seemed to have gone missing. Potentially taken by someone or given away in error. Not a huge issue, and I don't expect them to take responsibility, but the young lady who helped me was very apologetic.

I’ve stayed here dozens of times. This stay we had no heat in our room. At checkout I told the front desk he should have maintenance check our room heater. I had a picture of the thermostat and showed him the air temp in the room was a chilly 62 degrees. He responded by saying they had turned off the boilers yesterday because it was warm outside. I told him that was ridiculous and wondered why they were not turned on again for the night. When I told him we woke in the middle of the night and we were cold, he simply stated we should have called the front desk and they would have brought us a space heater. I told him that’s ridiculous and 62-63 degrees is unacceptable. He offered no other solution, apology, or a credit of any sort. This is very disappointing as most of my other stays here were just fine.

Everything is satisfactory. but they should have a microwave, and plate and utensils in the room. they need to provide one or two complimentary bottles of water in the room.
I think they also need to think about their elevator.

Great place for anyone using the Mayo Clinics...nice, big rooms, comfortable beds, microwave & small fridge for extended stay needs. Very good breakfast. Only negative was the super LOW toilet.

Best hotel that we’ve been since traveling around! Great staff and super friendly. Love the breakfast being included as well! Very clean and amenities were provided upon request. One down side is the parking. Hawthorne parking was a good spot and it was easy access to the hotel through the skywalk however the price of it was ridiculous especially since it’s not an in and out. I would definitely stay here again but look more into a different parking lot to provide better access to moving your car around.

位置好，對面是明大，樓下出門就有中餐館，味道很好。走8分鐘有CVS，房間裏有冰箱微波爐，早餐可以打熱水，非常方便。洗澡水小了點，裝修有點舊。

BBruce BerggrenI booked 2 rooms, 4 nights via trips.com and 1 night via a credit card portal. We normally book direct with the hotel but it the 3rd party sites offered lower costs.
Neither third party booking site disclosed a $3 parking fee at the time of booking. Looking at the hotel website, I also do not see a parking fee disclosure. Mankato is a relatively small town, and the location is not busy enough to justify a parking fee; charging it as a surprise/undisclosed fees (resort, parking, etc) is a dishonest practice you should abandon if you want repeat business.
We were generally happy with the housekeeping, beds and room features. Issues with the TV signal and room keys were resolved by the staff in a timely manner.
I chose Fairfield based on past good experience with Mariott/Residence Inn/Fairfield breakfasts in other cities. We appreciate access to a basic breakfast, and were pleased with the coffee, fruit, and bagels. However the quality of the main course (instant scrambled eggs and so-called ”omelettes”) was disappointing. Yogurts were exclusively fat-free (chalky taste) in a padlocked at 9am sharp. Sausage patties (frozen/warmed) were in short supply and also not appetizing. For the room rate we paid, we hoped for a better breakfast.

RRochelle Johnson-BentGreat location and amenities. The staff were always quick and available to answer any questions or provide items needed. The room was clean and had everything we expected. Towels, bed, room and all-around hotel smelled clean. There’s always someone cleaning around the hotel. They also had plenty of staff to address different needs, which is impressive given so many business struggling to keep staff. My only issue was too much chlorine in the pool made it really hard to breathe (maybe they need better air circulation) and it burned everyone’s eyes.
Also, luckily I read the reviews online so I knew to expect the parking fee. But it wasn’t noted on the booking page or website when I looked. But for the rate/deal we got on the room, the parking fee wasn’t a big deal. We came in pretty late each night and was able to find parking, but it was limited so I see what people meant in the reviews. I would definitely stay here again!! Oh and the breakfast was nice and hot and very clean. Plus, lots of options.
Also Outback is right next door, (walk across the lot) for nearby restaurant option.

VVieraskäyttäjäMy boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cambria hotel. He went to conference in downtown St. Paul while I checked out the Twin Cities. Location is excellent. My boyfriend easily took the #54 bus into St. Paul using the bus stop right next to the hotel. I checked out the MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge (a 3 min drive away) and the Mall of America / IKEA (free hotel shuttle which was super easy to use) in addition to other sites that I drove to (hotel offers free parking with plenty of open spaces). The free morning coffee in the lobby was delicious and strong. While breakfast was not free, the hotel room has a microwave and mini-fridge for us to make our own breakfast (oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, etc.) and keep cold soda/beer in our room. I also enjoyed their swimming pool. The water is cool but good for doing laps. Finally, we enjoyed their spacious, clean, and modern rooms. Thank you, Cambria!

VVieraskäyttäjäI did not realize Indigo was part of the IHG chain, but now are fully aware of the Indigo brand. The hotel check in was on the 2nd floor and parking was inconvenient with construction. The height into the covered parking was not very high. We were fortunate to find one of the last spots. The three different Indigo staff that we met were extremely friendly to meeting our needs. The hotel maid (room service attendant) also assisted us with additional needs. Our last night at the hotel. We witnessed about 25 college students carelessly riding the motorized scooter (Lime) in the streets disrupting traffic, pedestrians, and compromising safety of the city of Rochester for about 30 minutes. There was not a single law enforcement present after the incident. It not only affected Indigo, but also Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn. My bad for not taking a video of this.

The metro train is within walking distance 5 minutes and can catch train if desired easily. The pool is of reasonable length (about 10-12m by the looks of it). Breakfast selection is OK, could be better but passable. Staff helpful. Shuttle but is not well marked and driver quite upfront about requesting a tip. Room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. Zircon unit was not excessively noisy

They woke up extra early in anticipation of jumping right in the pool only to find out it was being cleaned and treated when it was suppose to be open. We asked the front desk and were informed it wouldn't be available until well after our check out time. It was a big deal for us as the pool is always the number one highlight for our kids and we didn't get to utilize it the night before. We had a nice stay otherwise. Very comfortable beds. Kind and helpful staff.

After inside the room for a bit you could no longer smell it; which I guess is good.
When we returned to the room after a concert, they had locked the main hotel door so we had to walk around and find a door we could access; even with our key. You had to enter via their banquet facility. A bit irritating because 2 females walking around a hotel very early in the morning is not safe.

VVieraskäyttäjäFirst off, I was charged an extra “historic building” fee when I checked in. When I questioned it, I was told it was because I didn’t use their website to book. The room was ok, no hairdryer. There was an almost constant loud him coming from the bathroom wall. Nice view of the river but awakened at 4 am by people yelling and fighting somewhere. Restaurant only serves breakfast on weekends and we were unable to find any open places for breakfast within walking distance. Wasn’t a terrible stay but I wouldn’t go back.
