Ystäväni ja minä varasimme kahden hengen huoneen, jossa oli kaksi vierekkäistä erillistä sänkyä, erinomaiseen hintaan. Saapuessamme meidät päivitettiin sviittiin, jossa oli erilliset huoneet ja erilliset kylpyhuoneet, mikä oli todella yllätys ja ihana. Vastaanottovirkailijamme Wuyan oli erittäin ystävällinen ja tarjosi erinomaista palvelua vastaten kaikkiin kysymyksiimme ja osoittaen kärsivällisyyttä, kun emme osanneet puhua paikallista kieltä. Hilton Wenchang offers an opportunity to discover another curious side of Hainan. We could see Wenchang Space Launch site directly from our balcony. The beach was nearby, and we watched sunrises and sunsets there. The swimming pool was spotless clean, although only one pool out of there was open due to a low number of guests. A couple scenic spots are very close too, about 10 min drive. There has been a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Jason He helped us with multiple needs, such as ordering medicine, finding restaurants, and booking a shuttle bus to Wenchang railway station. The latter is free, just need to book it in advance for a certain time period.

Weather in Haikou was a little gloomy, but Erin went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. She was readily available on WeChat to answer my queries and gave me good recommendations on how to best spend my time in Haikou. Overall the hotel was also comfortable, and I love that there is an indoor kids playground which my daughter had so much fun in, and also that it’s close to the beach! The buffet breakfast every morning also served up a good spread, but their international dinner buffet was the best!

Well-located and value for money. The room was reasonably spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the beach. The wifi was also excellent, which was important since we were working online. However, the bathroom had a curtain, no door, which wasn't very comfortable. Also, there was no laundry room as advertised on its page. Elevators are extremely slow, so allow enough time for this. Communication was a challenge at times, which was surprising since most of the guests at the hotel were foreigners.

We stayed for one night, checked in early at 1.45pm. Room was beautiful, as seen in the pictures provided. Able to see both the mountain and the sea, view was beautiful. However, there’s construction going on currently, and it starts to get pretty noisy as early as 8am. Other than that, it’s good. As we were a family of four staying in this room, we noticed that the room supplies were only for two (we only had two towels, disposable toothbrushes etc given). Had to call for room service for them to provide the additional supplies. Pillow is quite soft as well, don’t forget to ask for more pillows (if needed) before bedtime. The hotel has direct access to the beach, which was my favorite part of the stay. I spent a lot of time in the pool, it was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was also very good, offering a variety of options. The location is convenient, with several restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable, though not very modern. That didn’t bother me much, as I was either in the pool or the ocean most of the time. However, the bathroom had a persistent bad smell after using the shower or toilet, and the bathtub was old and drained water slowly. There is no self-service laundry :-( Airport pickup was available and very convenient. As soon as you exit the arrivals area, you just cross the street and walk for about 2–3 minutes to a designated waiting area where the van picks you up. The airport staff was very nice and they helped me get to the waiting area.

Hotel is great and comfortable. Lobby is tastefully decorated and service staff top notch. Special shout out to Shaw for his excellent customer service, being accommodative of our needs and ever attentive. Rooms were large and sound proofing is excellent. Also a shout out to the service staff, Hardy, for the first night stay. He handled all my parcels swiftly and even helped resolve a delivery which had a little issue. Highly recommended, will return to stay at the intercontinental for sure!

Loistava hotelli rahoillesi. Ei tietenkään 4 tähteä, mutta silti erittäin hyvä. Ruoka on yksitoikkoista, mutta nälkäisenä ei poistu. Siivous joka päivä. Ranta on tien toisella puolella, melkein tyhjä. Kaupunki on 20 minuutin taksimatkan päässä. Kiitos hyvästä lomasta.

Tämä on neljäs kerta, kun yövyin tässä hotellissa. Yövyin jokaisessa hotellissa kaksi yötä, kun aiemmin olin lomalla Sanyassa. Tällä kertaa yövyin tässä Sheratonissa neljä yötä ja viisi päivää vapaa-ajan lomalla. Se oli erittäin mukavaa ja virkistävää! ! Tarjoilijoiden asenne tässä hotellissa on erittäin hyvä; aamiainen ja iltapäivätee (sisältyvät huonepakettiin) ovat mukavia, monipuolisia ja herkullisia; kylpyläteknikot ovat erittäin taitavia. Hotellin ranta on kirkas ja hiekka on hienoa. Kun uit, viereesi saattaa yhtäkkiä ilmestyä joukko tai useita pieniä kaloja ja yllättää sinut! ! Hotelli houkuttelee myös monia söpöjä, kauniita ja seksikkäitä nuoria naisia ​​matkustamaan ja lomailemaan. Hotellissa on monia aktiviteetteja. Aikuisille ja lapsille on monia ohjelmia. Päivä kuluu nopeasti, etkä halua koskaan lähteä! ! Hotelli on ollut auki jonkin aikaa, eikä sisustus ole kovin uusi, mutta se on hyvin hoidettu. Huoneet ovat puhtaita, siistejä, tilavia ja ylellisiä. Wonderful hotel! We stayed in the Glacier Castle section of the hotel. Our room was a polar bear theme, which was a sea view room. When the tv comes on there is a welcome greeting saying our names. Enjoyed seeing the sun setting. Map of location of hotel on the island and map of hotel included here.  The breakfast buffet was amazing. A large variety of food for breakfast.  Ate supper at the supper buffet one night. Expensive for us, but had all types of food including the hot pot at our table. So yummy! The restaurant staff very nice! The hotel staff was friendly and probably a little shocked seeing Americans, but they smiled and greeted us. Pulled out the phone to translate when we checked in. We are used to doing that, too.😁 We received a welcome gift our first night, too.  If you are planning to visit the part of Hainan, we highly recommend The Castle Hotel!
