Perfect hotel for exploring the Tianmen mountain, the cableway station is literally just crossing the street. Also perfect for going to the Zhangjiajie park, either south or east gate. The only thing they should improve is the quality of the western breakfast options, for a hotel like this one would expect better quality, but the overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed at Changsha Fungee Hotel at Huangxing and loved its unbeatable location and welcoming staff. Check in and check out were quick and smooth, and the hotel had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nearby, the bars Bar Plays and Firefly are worth a visit. The neighborhood is perfect for late night strolls, with the metro just a five minute walk away. IFS Mall sits within ten minutes, while Wuyi Street and Old Taiping Street are a bit farther but easily reachable on foot. Huangxing Street is right around the corner, plus convenience stores like Lawson and 7 Eleven are everywhere for convenience.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the amenities were excellent. I had a smooth, enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

Overall, it was good for me. The room type that we chose is just standard for us. The lady from the front office actually recommended that we can upgrade the room as we brought 4 big pieces of luggage, but we were okay with the one we booked. If you arrived earlier, you can actually store your luggage in the hotel earlier. I don’t have the picture of the place and my room, but I guess this is a refurbished apartment that has been turned into a hotel/inn. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes right below the apartment. The food and drinks here are delicious and nice. The lady from the front office was friendly too!

The location is excellent — just a few steps from the subway station, which made getting around very convenient. The entrance of the building is a bit old and currently under renovation, but it didn’t affect our stay. The hotel itself is on the 6th floor. The room is spacious and the mattresses are exceptionally comfortable, helping us recover well after a long day of traveling. The only minor downside is that there are only two sets of laundry machines, and they are home-use models, so our clothes didn’t dry completely. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great comfort and a very convenient location.

Sisustus on varsin ainutlaatuinen ja omaleimainen, eikä näytä halvalta. Se on suunnilleen keskinkertainen, jossain 3 ja 4 välillä. Lähellä on kuitenkin tietyömaata, ja Wuyi Squaren metroasemalle on kävelymatka, joten kulkuyhteydet ovat vain suunnilleen keskinkertaiset. Aamiainen oli kamala. The hotel provides decent service with friendly staff who are responsive to requests. The interior design is quite nice, creates a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though it would be even better if there was an additional work desk, as the current setup feels a bit limited for business travelers.

Room was modern and clean with great ducted heating. Can check in early for an additional fee if you wish. Daily housekeeping provided everyday, microwave, washing machine, dryer and detergent free for guest use. Lots of good local food on both streets either side of the building. The room had floor to ceiling windows that opened to the outside hallway so you couldn’t have them open which meant no natural light. Girl at reception (day/morning time) was unfriendly and seemed annoyed anytime you asked for help.

I ordered food late at night and there was no robot to deliver it to the room, so I called the front desk if they could bring it to the room. They refused and told me to get it myself. After going to the lobby I see the receptionist talking to the assistant, both of them are clearly not busy. Sure, I can get the food myself but when I'm paying the price for an Intercontinental hotel I would expect top tier service. And I've had hotel assitants bring the food to my room in chinese hotels that costs less than half the price of this one. Besides that, the hotel looked nice, and the room was good. The location is not really great if you plan to walk anywhere, but with a taxi it's acceptable. The view is pretty good if your room is facing south. Facing north (even with river view) it's not that spectacular.

Great experience in this hotel. Location was perfect too! And hotel allowed us to leave our huge luggage behind for 1 night since we went to zhangjiajie and fenghuang and impossible for us to drag our luggage there. Near the lift to the metro station just outside the hotel and got McDonald’s as well. Perfect for us to have breakfast from before going airport
