Read Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. The lobby is classic and our Manor room was well appointed. We encountered two problems though. The front desk clerk was very short with us at checkin and seemed annoyed to answer our questions about valet parking. But, most importantly, our room was so very noisy at night. The walls are paper thin and we heard every conversation in the neighboring room. Also, the doors in our hallway closed with a loud bang every time a guest closed their door. It was one of the worst nights of sleep we have ever encountered in a hotel. At checkout the clerk did not greet us except to ask if we wanted our receipt printed or emailed. No “How was your stay?” was asked. We chose not to complain to her at checkout as she didn’t seemed concerned about us as guests.

We had a fantastic stay at the Quality Inn Nashville - Opryland Area. The hotel provides great value, but the real highlights were the in-room amenities and the staff. The room was equipped with everything we needed, making our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer right in the room—that was a huge convenience and a standout feature for a mid-range hotel!
The staff members were exceptionally helpful with all our requests. Their friendly and attentive service truly made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Opryland area and appreciate having full amenities and helpful service!
Prior to booking I was informed check in was 11am and checkout same time. When arriving at 11, I ended up having to wait 4 entire hours. So when you book 2 nights 3 days it’s really only 1 full 24 hours. The resort is pretty over rated to say the least. I won’t be back or recommend it to anyone.
Clean room. No dresser or other type of wardrobe to unpack clothes; hangers available, along with ironing board/iron. Hair dryer. No microwave even though one pictured in the room pic I saw. Coffeemaker adequate but could be nicer. Tolietries provided (single use). Staff friendly & helpful. Couldn't connect to Wifi; must use hotel admin password which they provided. Ice machine on my floor didn't work, easy access to another unit on other floor via elevator. Walking distance to free City Shuttle and several very good restaurants and cafes. Decor is quasi mid-century modern. Small desk and swivel office chair but no other additional seating, other than on your bed. Small vinyl ”ottoman” (to be used how?). Heating/AC unit efficient & quiet? Had fan only mode for air circulation which was nice. Room view blocked by structural pillar; I didn't want to hassle changing rooms; on hindsight, I should have moved to ”pool view” room instead of ”city view.”

VVieraskäyttäjäHotel was older but clean. Convenient to Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountain parkway. The room had everything you needed mini fridge, small coffee maker, hairdryer. A elevator to the second and third floors. But it wasn’t convenient to both ends of the large outdoor entrances. The beds were comfortable. The room had a flat screen tv but the remote controls didn’t work. We tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn’t work either. When we went to the front desk to tell them, they said they didn’t know the rooms had phones. They gave us a new remote that also didn’t work. There was only 1 washcloth and towel in the room, but they gave us more when we went to the front desk. The air conditioning worked well. The pool was open but not heated as advertised.
VVieraskäyttäjäSo I of course read google reviews about this place before hand and was torn ... ultimately deciding on it because I kept going back to it on google ...upon checking in after I online booked it...I was greeted by a young woman behind the desk who was cheerful eager to help and informative. Even thou it was nearly 10pm. After 10 minutes the room phone rang it was the front desk and the same young woman who checked me in ..asking about my pit bull saying the lady next door called said my dog was trying to attack her car thru the window...this flat out didn't happen however my dog and her car were playing and my dog isn't a pit bull she's an American Bully but I get it ...I assured the front desk my dot wouldn't be by the neighbors window again and apologized for her having to call me ...fyi y'all ever known a dog to try and attack a cat thru a window without barking growling or acting a damn fool??? Cuz mine sure didn't do any of that ...ANYWAY...The room I booked had 2 queens and lemme tell ya the beds were unbelievably comfortable as were the pillows. The aesthetics of the room was chill and relaxing TV worked as it should so did the AC ...but on to the best part the lady tending to the contentinal breakfast...which was fully stocked at all times and not just stocked but perfectly lined pastries breads and cereal bowls. On my particular morning which was a Friday they served sausage links biscuits eggs blueberry or plain pancakes. They had fresh apple or orange juice but it was the attendant who made it amazing not just her detail but her pleasant disposition to everyone was fantastic. I would return just to tip her again !!! This was a treat experience and one I'll never regret
LLoreeann32Everyone was so nice. The employees treated you very nicely. I checked in and went to my room. I found out my door did not close all the way. I would close it, but it would not latch. I went downstairs, and the mantainence man was right there, and he went up with me to fix it. Everything was clean, even the bedding. The bathroom was clean, but when I was getting ready for bed, I saw an ant on the counter in the bathroom. I did not think anything of it and killed it and went to sleep. The next morning, I was getting ready in the bathroom, and I found 2-3 ants on the counter. I killed them, but I was gone all day. I stayed a total of 2 nights. When I came back for the night, I went to bed. The next morning, I took a shower. The water pressure was not good. The hot water and the shower were awesome but could use more pressure. Once again, getting ready for the day and this time, there were ants all over. They were going up the walls on the ceiling. I am not sure if something was spilled on the walls, but it looked like they all were going towards one spot. That's what led me to believe that. So I moved all my things and got ready in the foyer where there was a mirror. I was leaving that morning anyway, so I figured I would tell the staff. So I checked out and told the front desk, she just said ok.” I thought she would take it seriously, but she did not. I stayed in room 411. Very nice room. Just check for ants. The breakfast was free for both days. I was told the owner was giving free vouchers for breakfast. I thought that was awesome. Overall, good stay.
VVieraskäyttäjä'Superfirstly', this La Quintas has the most amazing staff; above and beyond assistance, friendly, welcoming, kind and I mean EVERY staff member we encountered from desk to behind the scenes who we passed in the elevator, arriving at work, EVERYONE!!! deep appreciation to staff members, Diamond who literally 'concierged' us in, and was in charge of our floor and, Kumani who lent us an umbrella, Tracy who was so kind when he came to attend to the TV that was in fact working, the Check in staff on the afternoon of the 27th July who gave great advice and the staff member who brought us additional toiletries we required. (edit) one super comfortable pillow out of the 3 on each bed and a firm, comfortable mattress - perfect for us.
Firstly, it was practically, fantastically 10 minutes' walk into Downtown via the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge for sights over the Cumberland River of Downtown and the Nissan Stadium. It's been modernised compared to La Quintas elsewhere, but do not order the Onion Rings at the bar (horrid)! the 'dry rubbed wings' were great! Otherwise, the bar and seating/lounge area is welcoming, but I never tried the breakfast.
The car park was easily accessible and one of the best prices in the area. All in all, our experience at La Quintas in Nashville, Stadium contributed positively to our overall fantastic short stay and hopefully, building works (no noise) across the way will be complete when we stay again in the future.

It's summer in Nashville, so I'm somewhat ok looking the other way with the building and room feeling humid. The room as a whole was fine; comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, fairly comfy chair & ottoman. The minor things are just confusing and concerning that this once Awesome hotel is trending down.
🚪the key card on the door was busted! Sliding in the card was the MOST FINICKY OF ALL TIME, giving us problems. One time the key card slid all the way in, eating the card. Maintenance came to retrieve the card. No fix was made, we were just told to be careful.
🪟 The sunshades behind the window curtain was janky AF, the left side was down but wouldn't move (the cord had been removed and tucked at the top). All while the right was up without a way to get it down, except to pull it. But when I did that, I realized why they had it up and the electric motor turned off... It didn't go all the way down and was shredded. 💧The sink is backwards, hot water to the right & cool to the left. 🌡️ The thermostat was broken. While the room was kept cool, it was uncomfortably cool with it being humid. It was humid enough that the furniture had a tacky feel to it.
Did the room work for us, yes. Were all the small things adding up make us consider that our next trip will be booked elsewhere, also yes.

1) When we arrived on Friday note, there was a sign on the only ice machine on our side of the building that said it was out of order. Should have been fixed since the sige didn't look like it was at all,new.
2) We went to the machines to get a can of soda and that machine said not to use $5's. OK. Put in .50 for the $2.50 can of Pepsi. Went to put in two $1 bills but the machine wouldn't take those either. We used a credit card and paid the $2.50, but weren't aboe to get the .50 returned.
went to get a bag of jerkey treats for $5 but it wouldn't take an y of the 3 credit cards I had, even though we just used one for the soda.
3) Asked for a bar of soap and we were told there were none so we had to go to Kriger to but a bar of soap. Not everyone wants to take a bath and have the soap 4 fetet over their head in a kiquid dispenser.
4) Floors were dirty. Had to wear socks or shoes all the time. Wore white socks for an hour and the bottoms were filthy. In addition to that, there were several spots where the floors were sticky.
5) Pleasure to have the TV and when it wasn't working, notified the front desk and someone came immediately and fixed the problem. Great service.
6) Beds were extremely comfortable.
7) had the scrambled eggs for breakfast. I'm pretty sure they were powdered, but they were exeremely tastey
