Hotellit mukavuudella Uima-altaat maassa Kiina, provinssissa Hainan

Ystäväni ja minä varasimme kahden hengen huoneen, jossa oli kaksi vierekkäistä erillistä sänkyä, erinomaiseen hintaan. Saapuessamme meidät päivitettiin sviittiin, jossa oli erilliset huoneet ja erilliset kylpyhuoneet, mikä oli todella yllätys ja ihana. Vastaanottovirkailijamme Wuyan oli erittäin ystävällinen ja tarjosi erinomaista palvelua vastaten kaikkiin kysymyksiimme ja osoittaen kärsivällisyyttä, kun emme osanneet puhua paikallista kieltä. Meillä oli näköala uima-altaalle ja satamaan, jota ympäröivät vuoret ja trooppinen vehreys. Dadonghai-ranta on hyvin lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Meillä oli fantastinen matka, kiitos!

Hotel is great and comfortable. Lobby is tastefully decorated and service staff top notch. Special shout out to Shaw for his excellent customer service, being accommodative of our needs and ever attentive. Rooms were large and sound proofing is excellent. Also a shout out to the service staff, Hardy, for the first night stay. He handled all my parcels swiftly and even helped resolve a delivery which had a little issue. Highly recommended, will return to stay at the intercontinental for sure!

I stayed at this hotel for five nights during my trip to Sanya, Hainan Island, and I was very satisfied with my stay. It truly feels like a hidden gem. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are immediately drawn to the beautiful ocean view, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are simply yet warmly designed, well thought out, fully equipped, and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail is impressive: branded toiletries are provided, and even two bottles of drinking water are thoughtfully prepared. The hotel is located on the first coastline, which is a big advantage, and there are rooms with a beautiful sea view. The hotel also has a gym and many restaurants offering different cuisines, so there is always a great choice. The front desk service deserves special praise — the staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful, instantly leaving an excellent impression. Overall, it is a comfortable and well-maintained hotel, and I would be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed in the Glacier Castle section of the hotel. Our room was a polar bear theme, which was a sea view room. When the tv comes on there is a welcome greeting saying our names. Enjoyed seeing the sun setting. Map of location of hotel on the island and map of hotel included here.  The breakfast buffet was amazing. A large variety of food for breakfast.  Ate supper at the supper buffet one night. Expensive for us, but had all types of food including the hot pot at our table. So yummy! The restaurant staff very nice! The hotel staff was friendly and probably a little shocked seeing Americans, but they smiled and greeted us. Pulled out the phone to translate when we checked in. We are used to doing that, too.😁 We received a welcome gift our first night, too.  If you are planning to visit the part of Hainan, we highly recommend The Castle Hotel!

Excellent epic hotel! The receptionist who made a call to the next hotel ie Castle hotel at Flower Island we r boarding was exceptional! She asked for detailed directions if we go by public transport. The Thai restaurant serves authentic and scrumptious food!

Weather in Haikou was a little gloomy, but Erin went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. She was readily available on WeChat to answer my queries and gave me good recommendations on how to best spend my time in Haikou. Overall the hotel was also comfortable, and I love that there is an indoor kids playground which my daughter had so much fun in, and also that it’s close to the beach! The buffet breakfast every morning also served up a good spread, but their international dinner buffet was the best!

We were unlucky to stay in the hotel during typhoon. So we could not enjoy any of the facilities as they have nothing indoor. The hotel has excellent location but besides that it was just an average hotel. The worst thing is the attitude of staff. A male staff on reception was very rude and did not want to answer any questions or help us. This was the first time when we asked hotel to give us baby potty but were refused, they said it’s only provided in family rooms. If hotel has them why not to provide it by request to make life of guests comfortable?.. this shows the low level of services. The hotel makes money on Russian tourists who come via agents and they don’t care about their quality. I’ve been in Sanya many times in different hotels but service of this hotel was one of the worst… breakfast is very poor, basic Chinese breakfast , but there is even no yogurt for breakfast, which is typical in Chinese hotels. In terms of cleanliness, the water jar in the room was full of black mold, and the water was licking from the sink, finally chopsticks in their restaurants were dirty, which was horrible! The facilities are quite old. Our fridge did not work, but we didn’t know it as the light there was on, so we put milk inside to find out later that it became bad so we threw it away :-( The price is reasonable but only for bigger rooms, the standard room is extremely small.

Hilton Wenchang offers an opportunity to discover another curious side of Hainan. We could see Wenchang Space Launch site directly from our balcony. The beach was nearby, and we watched sunrises and sunsets there. The swimming pool was spotless clean, although only one pool out of there was open due to a low number of guests. A couple scenic spots are very close too, about 10 min drive. There has been a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Jason He helped us with multiple needs, such as ordering medicine, finding restaurants, and booking a shuttle bus to Wenchang railway station. The latter is free, just need to book it in advance for a certain time period.

I enjoyed my stay at Bao Hong Hotel. The location is excellent — close to Dadonghai Beach and also near the scenic Xiaodonghai area. The hotel itself is simple but comfortable, matching its price of around 230 CNY per night. Cleanliness is acceptable, though not perfect. Overall, it’s a decent and convenient place to stay for both families and solo travelers, as long as expectations are reasonable. Room I used was Business Queen, very large room with king/queen size bed for 2 large adults.

First off, all staff are so polite and welcoming! They will smile and greet you, from the moment you exit your ride to the pool area where you can go soak in the hot spring. I really enjoyed my stay here, it was extremely peaceful and quiet, I’m sure peak season might be different though. The beach across the road is lovely to sit by and the sand is clean. I enjoyed my breakfast and thanks to Ernest for helping me with check in, and allowing me to split my booking so I could get buffet dinners since I had no partner checking in with me. He was welcoming and explained everything well in English, thank you to Megan for answering my questions and updating my buffet code and Prima for the swift check out. I hope to come again here, while the hotel is a little old now they make up for in service. The housekeeping staff does a great job and cleans the basin and the room is spotless when you come back! The only complaint I have is that the tv has 1 English Channel and that switches to Japanese movies sometimes. At the buffet dinner, the manager helped me choose a hot pot of my choice, and showed me where to get everything, the second time she brought me a plate of the soup of the day, she was so kind and lovely, I didn’t catch her name but I have to say thank you to her aswell. Breakfast is delicious and there’s a variety of whatever you like. Desserts are divine!! The hotsprings are lovely in chilly February and there’s an indoor pool too.
