Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good water supply and heating. A very good location that is near to eating places. A complete kitchenette. Will visit again, highly recommended motel to stay in Dunedin.

If you use Google Maps, remember to select the pedestrian path for directions. Otherwise, it may guide you to an abandoned house. The view from the dining room was nice, but we found some short blond hairs on the bed. We weren't too concerned about it, but others might be. The breakfast is quite Western—bread and jam, with milk or yogurt. It's a nice place, suitable for a short nap before takeoff. Nearby Saddle Hill is a great spot for viewing the Southern Lights if the timing is right. You could also ask John for local tips—he might know the best viewing spots. Thanks again to John for his hospitality!

This is the best rest stop I’ve stayed at so far. There’s free parking and a 24-hour reception, so you can safely leave your car there. It’s also within walking distance to the city centre, which saves a lot on parking fees. When I stayed there, there weren’t many people, so it felt like having the whole place to myself. The bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas were quiet and clean, with no unpleasant smells, and someone came regularly to tidy up. The room was very comfortable as well. Highly recommended!

Very roomy unit with all the facilities needed. Aircon was on at arrival so a comfortable start. Bed was good, bathroom was good. Not motels fault but people in next door unit stayed up late and were noisy. We are staying at the motel again next week.

Valitsimme tämän hotellin, koska odotimme nauttivan sen viinitila/ruoka. Muussa tapauksessa olisimme pitäneet Queenstownissa paljon ravintoloita ja pubeja. Kun saapuisimme aamulla, me panimme merkille toivomme kokea heidän viinitila ja ruoka (tai ainakin sormenruoat) kun varasimme hotellin, ja saimme sähköpostia, että he eivät voi taata, mutta tekevät parhaansa palvella tarpeitamme. Silloin meille ei lähetetty sähköpostia. Kun saapuimme hotelliin noin kello 6:00, kukaan ei ollut tietolaudalla, joten meidän oli mentävä bistro tietää, että he jättivät avain turvalaatikossa ilman ilmoitusta tai lähettää meille mitään sähköpostia sen salasana. Meidän piti odottaa bistronainen soittamaan hänelle, mikä oli hyvä, ja pahempaa kuulimme heidän bistronsa varattiin ryhmätapahtumaan, joten emme voineet käyttää tilaa. Meidän piti ajaa 15 minuuttia lähikaupungille ja ostaa ruokaa supermarketista. Mielestäni hotelli olisi pitänyt ilmoittaa meille, että heidän bistro-/ruokapalvelunsa ei ole mahdotonta käyttää ryhmätapahtuman vuoksi, ja meidän on valmistauduttava ruokaa. Kun tarkistin, jätin huomautuksen aiheista ja odotin, että he lähettävät minulle sähköpostin, jossa he ilmaisivat vilpittömän anteeksipyynnön. Very good motels in the town. Everything was completed and very comfortable. The owner was quite friendly . We got the ground floor room, and the car was Juz parked infront of the room. Super convenient.

My mistake in not verifying the lodge location. It was listed as being in Milford Sound when it is not. Management need to adjust the door closers for kitchen n dining room. Was kept awake til 11pm with the banging. When I gave feedback to the staff, was told I had booked the basic standard room.
