Desolate location, hotel is on the second floor, rooms are different sizes, no hot water and the plumbing is outside. We paid for the full day but only checked in around 3:30am. He started calling us just 6 hours later at 9:30am asking us to check out by 10am or pay the extra day charges. Water is not good here.

The electrical connections were not functioning. TV recharge took 6hrs and 10 follow ups. No toiletries provided I had visited this resort in Jan21 but this tike found it has degraded like anything Mouse running through the roofs of cottage No attendants present in restaurant aftet confirming food is ready What was served as karai chicken was some shreds of chicken in white liquid Really disappointed with over all house keep service and food May not visit again

The location is good, away from the crowd. It is about 10 km from santiniketan biswa bharti so it is best suited for those who have their own vehicle. There is ample parking space and a dorm for drivers. It is not the typical hotel. It is actually a residential complex with 31/32, 4 storey buildings. Many of them are privately owned. The rooms are quite small and the balcony is even smaller. There is no lift in any of the buildings so it might get a little difficult for senior citizens. The exteriors are nicely decorated. The staff is very polite and efficient. The panthashala restaurant is decently priced.

They have 3 types of room. Lowest price is of saver rooms (approx 1400 ***** with gst) which are slightly small and cozy but large enough for two people for a one or two day stay. Here, I am talking about the room 303 on 3rd floor. Clean and cozy rooms with neat & clean washrooms, geyser and toiletries (no toothbrush and toothpaste) given with a single towel for two people and complementary 1L package drinking water. A small TV and AC is also available inside the room. But architecturalary, TV unit is not infront of the bed & bathroom doesn't have exhaust but has shutter window which opens towards the common passage in some rooms which is not good as smell and sound will go in common passage. Also the window present on the west wall has only two compact curtains (instead of three) which don't cover the whole window properly making a concern for privacy loving people. They have small terrace on the 3rd floor which is beautifully decorated with seasonal flowers and accessible for guests also. Also they have some chairs on the terrace for sitting which is a good thing. Lift is also available. They have decorated every passage and rooms which is soothing. The most beautiful place is their resturant area which has beautiful arts on the wall. Chinese foods and starters are delicious but when it comes to north Indian foods (like biryani,🍟 french fries etc.) they sucks. Breakfast is also not upto the mark in comparison to main course. Non veg foods are most rated here. Room service could have some delay during dining time especially at dinner time so better to eat in resturant itself. Overall the resturant is budget friendly and all the staffs behaviour is upto the mark which makes our stay warm, safe and comfortable. Location wise this is best stay as most of the tourist places are at walkable distance (approx 1.5km) like sonajhuri forest and haat, deer park, viswa bharti University and tagore's museum. Only 2-3 tourist places are far from here. This guest house is very near to prantik station (1.8km approx). So instead of bolpur junction which is 3.5km far, people can take a ticket till prantik (if the train stops here) which costs same and take a toto from station to here, just ask them that you have to go to the named hotel which is near ”Shyambati” (a chowk near this area). They have parking area avilable for two and four wheeler infront of the guest house. This guest house is present just beside the main road and grocery shops and small markets are easily available nearby. Public transport (totos) are always available outside the guest house.

Property's is very good but location is small long distance beach, food is very so good, service is so good carefully & i am so happy.

Our family of seven had an absolutely excellent experience at this property, having booked four Rangbhavan rooms. Initially, we were a little skeptical about visiting Darjeeling during the monsoons, but trust me, the experience was beyond words. The property's location is bang on! You can literally see the clouds below you, with mist all around, creating an incredibly serene and picturesque atmosphere. A massive shoutout to Mr. Rishabh, the property manager, who was exceptional with our hospitality. Whatever we needed, he made sure it was readily available to us. His dedication truly made a difference. Apart from the stunning location and outstanding hospitality, one thing we will never forget is the food experience. The chef was incredibly sweet and nice; whatever we asked him to make, he prepared it with so much love. The food was consistently fresh and tasted unmatched. Even the serving staff and cleaning staff were so warm and friendly, adding to the overall positive vibe. The entire experience was so memorable for me and my family. We left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a delightful stay! This was an experience I will cherish forever;)

It is a beautiful property and completely clean and neat. Nice taste of the owner in the ways the rooms are done and the over all aesthetics of the property is very warm. It is indeed a hidden gem in kalimpong
