They truly are an asset to our team and it’s wonderful to know that their friendliness, efficiency, and dedication stood out to you.However, we're sorry to hear that the rest of your stay wasn't quite what you expected. Nevertheless, some of the points you mention though are things we're consciously doing differently to other hotels. As part of the Lean Luxury philosophy, our rooms, for example, are designed and furnished in a different way. All of our rooms are carefully designed to make the best use of the space, and we put a lot of emphasis on the quality of the materials we use.While we don't offer free slippers or toothbrushes in our rooms for example, you can get them from the vending machine in our Galleys. Here we also offer free tea and hot water instead of a kettle in each room. This is all part of our Lean Luxury approach. By cutting out things that not all guests want, we're able to offer central locations, characterful design and top-notch comfort with a touch of luxury – all at a great price. Also as part of our unique philosophy, we believe in offering the highest quality experience at the best possible price. From our choice of furnishings to the food we serve, we focus on quality over quantity, which is why our breakfast selection is slightly smaller than other hotels'. We do our best to offer something for everyone though, from superfood muesli, fruit and whole wheat bread to tasty pastries, cheeses and meats.
