"I was unfamiliar with the area and searched for this hotel recommended by the Three Gorges. Upon arriving in Yichang, I realized it was 65 kilometers from the city center. The hotel is near the Three Gorges Dam scenic area, but it's still over 20 kilometers away. The environment felt desolate to me, and the facilities were poor. The laundry room was just a pulsator washing machine and a clothesline. The room was also very unhygienic, with hair on the towels and damp backs. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable stay. The only positive thing I could say was the service, which was very responsive."

There's a supermarket in Mixc City right next to the hotel, with a wide variety of food and daily necessities at reasonable prices. I'd recommend it for anyone driving to stock up on supplies. In the evenings, there are street vendors on both sides of the road, perfect for a night market stroll and buying some fruit after dinner. For meals, you can head to Miaozui, about 1km from the hotel, where there are restaurants lining both sides of the street."
