"very good service, staff even helped to order delivery as we were unable to do so without a china phone number. the hotel had beautiful view!!! breakfast was not bad, but the items are the same everyday. hotel also provided free upgrade to the stargazing room which was huge and comfortable. awesome stay!! only thing is that there is no microwave."

"The hotel is located near the city center. I think the hotel is good for this price and I loved the bathtub. But the only problem is that my window was directly facing the trash station which was not a good sight plus the trucks made a lot of noise that disturbed my sleep very early in the morning. The receptionist was really kind and friendly. She helped with my DiDi order and responded to messages on WeChat quickly. I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again."

"We’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in everything from budget hotels to some of the most well-known luxury brands, and we can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room. One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable. The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed. We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service. Highly, highly recommend—this place is something special. For us it's more than 5 stars!"

"Perfect location with excellent views of the Yulong river. Also within walking distance to one of the bamboo raft docks. The hotel staff also offered well priced private tours (buggy with driver) which I used on one of the days to sightsee along Yulong River and surrounds e.g. Moon Mountain, Shili Gallery, lunch in one of the villages, cafe spots etc. The friendly receptionist also helped book tickets in advance so I didn't need to line up when I got to Ruyi Peak (just show passport and enter) Chinese style breakfast was included - hot and delicious noodle soup with egg, fruits, tea. Perfect for a day of exploring! Highly recommended for travellers!"

"This hotel directly overlooks the picturesque Li River where you can witness the fishermen's bamboo rafts with their cormorants anchored to the promenade. It's a popular spot for tourists in their hired period costumes trying to achieve the most photogenic shot of Yangshuo's world-renowned karst mountains. The hotel's roof terrace on the fifth floor offers uninterrupted vistas of this stunning landscape. The hotel's buffet breakfast is great value for its price and comes highly recommended. The hotel rooms are spacious and even those which face inwards look out to a leafy courtyard with pretty fountains. The staff, from the chambermaids to the lady at the guest laundry, were all super helpful. Special thanks to Maya/沫沫 at the front desk who devised an excellent itinerary for our private excursion with a driver. Equally outstanding was Lacey/橙子, also at the reception. She was very accommodating to the multiple requests of hotel guests, and in a truly earnest rather than perfunctory manner. Both of them are assets to the service industry. The hotel's attention to detail in terms of its interior design is laudable : the concept of Yangshuo's landscape is visually captured throughout the hotel - from the nameplate at its entrance to the signage of the room numbers, they all feature symbolic silhouettes of those iconic karst mountains and the fishermen with their cormorants. One suggestion to the hotel's management is for them to provide an English language news channel on their television : in view of the increasing foreign clientele, it is indeed glaring that even their national CGTN news channel is not available."

"Our first impression was that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic & efficient. One young lady just came out as soon as we alighted from the taxi & quickly to our luggage to the lobby. Talk about quick service! Our room was great with river view - the balcony space with 2 comfy chairs & a round table made it a very nice place to sit to have a drink whilst looking at the beautiful views. The complimentary afternoon tea was a surprise & it was a real treat to sit at the rooftop enjoying the views plus photo spots. Breakfast was good! You can eat outdoor with a view of the river & mountains. Staff are very kind to ask & check if you need anything. Housekeeping staff also very polite & communicate well. The young lady recommended their restaurant (under same company) just opposite the hotel for dinner & it was the right choice! We enjoyed the dinner so much & we went again the next day for lunch. Restaurant service was great & hotel guests gets a discount on the bill. Upon checking out, we were served by Jessica who helped us to bring the luggage to the taxi & warmly bade us goodbye. Overall an enjoyable trip to Yangshuo made even better by the wonderful staff of this hotel!!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The service throughout the hotel was truly excellent, but we would especially like to highlight Tony, the butler. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay feel incredibly special. He anticipated every need with such warmth and professionalism – it’s rare to experience this level of service. We also loved the café. The coffee was absolutely delicious and quickly became one of our favorite little rituals during the stay. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooms are simply beautiful – elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt comfortable, calm, and very well maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would happily return anytime. Thank you for such a memorable stay!"

"Super best hotel because they have BIDET. We need it so much. It is located near a local market. We bought a lot of orange fruits which taste soooo sweet & good. The kids like it so much. A lot of local foods restaurants around the hotel. Its also within walking distance to the spot in the 20 rmb bill. The family room has a very good view from the window. We can rent a bike from the hotel for 20 rmb a day. The host are very friendly & nice. Thank you very much"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations from the very first moment. The view was simply breathtaking — the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows across three large sections were truly something special and unforgettable. We spent an amazing time here with my wife, enjoying the calm atmosphere and the beautiful design of the room. The bathtub was fantastic, perfect for relaxing, and the projector added a really cozy, cinematic touch to our evenings. The pink castle design of Gu Yu Jian Shan Hotel is stunning, and the homestay location is ingeniously chosen, adjacent to the Eternal Love and Yulong River scenic spots. It takes only 5 minutes to walk from the homestay to reach the entrances of the two major attractions. For tourists who want to play efficiently, this geographical location is perfect. No need to wake up early to catch a bus, and no need to worry about traffic congestion, easily start your travel itinerary. ​The guest rooms are a major highlight of the homestay, with natural wood and white as the main colors, creating a romantic and warm atmosphere. Different room types have their own characteristics, whether it's a king size bed room suitable for couples or a parent-child room that meets family needs, they are all decorated with great care. The veil gently hangs down, paired with fresh decorations, and every detail exudes delicacy. The bedding is made of high-quality fabric that is soft and skin friendly, making it feel like being wrapped in clouds when lying down. It can relieve a day's fatigue and provide a good night's sleep. Pushing open the window, the natural scenery of the 100 acre field comes into view without reservation. The lush greenery makes people feel at ease, and the photo here comes with a gentle filter, making every snap a stunning picture. ​The coffee shop is a healing corner in the homestay, and as soon as you walk in, the rich aroma of coffee hits your face.
