Executive Residency by Best Western Waterloo Cedar Falls ★★★

"I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Executive Residency in Waterloo. We had a King room on the 8th floor. Good view of downtown. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked great, plenty of pillows, good amenities, absolutely zero complaints about the room. There is a parking ramp across the street, it's connected by a skywalk, and the hotel validates your parking. Zero complaints about parking. There is an indoor pool with multi-level seating around the pool. We were with an eleven-year-old who loved the pool and we enjoyed the pool area. The breakfast was a real stand-out. I didn't catch the name of the woman running breakfast, but she was a real gem and even brought us a fresh coffee once it was brewed. The buffet included soft, flaky biscuits and delicious sausage gravy, make your own waffles and pancakes, hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, scrambled eggs, etc. They even brought in a couple of boxes of fresh donuts. This was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I have tasted. Near the breakfast area was an arcade and they had a coffee/expresso/hot chocolate machine. There's also a great riverfront area to walk around just 1 block away. I would definitely stay here again. Great experience!"
